Perkins2018:
Winning the presidency is not only by absolute majority. You need to win in all the regions at least 25%. No new party will have that within the space of one or two years.

Politics is alien to you ibos. Face your shop.
The truth is igbos are at a loss as to what they truly want in Nigeria.

While some want nothing short of Biafra genuinely, some are using the Biafra struggle to make money, while others are just using same as a political leverage for concessions.

They don’t like APC but the PDP don’t consider them reliable enough to give them the chance at the presidency.

It’s just all a confusing scenario down there in the SEeast

I didn’t see any Yoruba against Igbo presidency. They all said you should contest. Are you that dul?

You have always been a bigot. Stop sounding stupid.
Hehehehheheh he doesn’t want the yorubas to contest simply because he can’t compete, he want the southerner slot to be an all igbo affair, anything short of that, he want the North they hate to rule till eternity grin

You voted Atiku against the Northern majority choice and winner, President Muhammad Buhari who is a cult figure in Arewa, and Igbos have been bitterly against his regime.

If you still don't see that you've been extremely against the political interests of the Northern majority since 2015 then you really are hopelessly blind to political realities.

Arewa never forgets her helpers and adversaries. That is exactly why you will witness Arewa support the SW (especially if PMBs candidate) come 2023.

Mark my words. #Amana
The truth is that the igbo man thinks they are smart but the double speak is always glaring even for the blind to see grin

One thing i can tell u is this the next southern president is an igbo man

In 2023 we are either president or vice ....just so u know[/s]
Lol. Unless you are going to shoot your way through Aso Rock, if it’s through the ballot, then you have better chance of getting Biafra than getting the votes of Nigerians to become the president

You want to be Vice President to an aboki, fine..that is the best you should aim for

Atiku gathered more vote than he has ever had with an igbo vice

The only people who dont want igbo president are the south west

U points are not valide jonathan lost because the south was not united ....reason why igbos insist on south west respecting the zoning formular

The truth is that if there is no igbo president in 2023 its a northern president its a simple thing
There won't be an igbo president so you can continue voting your northerner masters

[s]You list 3 areas your Buhari is better than GEJ let's test,

1) during Jonathan Fulanis weren't killings farmers up and down,
2) during Jonathan 1$ was 180 -190 naira not 360
3) things were cheap in the market during Jonathan[/s]
Thought I was having conversation with a sensible person.

You bunch of verbal warriors, fighting democracy was a collective effort, besides that what has democracy change so far cause votes don't count in in Nigeria and leadership belongs to the north,

If you yoruba's are boasting of kicking GEJ out then you should be ashamed cause your Fulani slave masters Buhari is worse than GEJ
Delusion. List just 3 areas that your GEJ is better than Buhari, let’ test it

Throw more light on this chasing soldiers back to the barracks in 1993 and why were they chasing soldiers?

What did Yoruba's do when leadership was stolen from Aboila he was locked up and killed?

Yoruba chased GEJ? Chased him for what? What did he do?
You sound so naive, it’s unbelievable.

But for Yorubas that fought for democracy, the military will still be ruling Nigeria probably till today, you must be too young to know that

If you are asking me the effort of Yorubas in kicking out GEJ, then I have no business having this discussion with you

Am glad you know we are seeking for attention and we are getting it, that's the main point for protests (attention) afonja's couldn't get that attention when they abandoned sowore on the streets of Lagos, sowore is cooling his heels in jail now, no one cares about him
Lmao! You are dense. Sowore went on a revolution drive that Yoruba didn’t send him.

When and if Yoruba want something, they will go for it in a manner that will leave anyone in no doubt.

They chased the military back to the barracks in 1993

They chased GEJ to Otuoke in 2015.

They are masters of political games that requires brain work and patience, not your violence and rudderless type of agitation

[s]To think that your SW governors are infallible is the height of ignorance. You're taking it personal, maybe it's because of what you stand to gain personally from it. I'm putting it to you the way it is, devoid of subjectivity. Time will tell who is wrong and right[/s].
You are obviously not from the SW, so stop bothering yourself. Let SWesterners handle their own challenges the way they deem fit while your bother about the challenges facing wherever you come from

the other guy is right,
their are many opportunities in the east that can yield revenue to the government, but nope, no governor will look into that, why?? Cuz he's lazy, afterall, the money is coming, no need to strive further.......
There are several mineral deposits in the east, take for instance, coal in Enugu, no one is mining it at all(though the coal is not of high quality, but atleast, can be used to generate electricity) the silicon, the limestone, just to mention but a few....... All of them have been forgotten, agriculture is old news, that one is gone, totally, same thing with other SE states, why?? LAZINESS, i believe if the country should be restructured, no one will tell them to work, no work, no food, will really benefit us, might take a few years to realise the great benefits though, cuz we have to start from somewhere.
The simple truth is that majority of igbos don’t like production, they prefer the easy way of simply import and sell.

More than 70% of the youths are either in one apprenticeship somewhere in igboland, on the highway selling imported items or simply planning to go to Europe

Farming or mining is the least thing an average Igbo youth is interested in

If it were something like JTF, the governors wouldn't be seeking ONSA approval. Even if that were to be the case, the governors will have no control over the outfit. As a retired military man who has taken part in JTF operations, I tell you this with authority. We only take orders from the president. It is you who need to learn more. You can start by acquainting yourself with the Nigerian firearms regulations.
Please stop this nonsense

Believe what you want to believe.

ONSA approval in principle is for a reason.if you think the guys will go into the forest and highways only with dane guns to face AK-47 daredevils, then you must be grossly naive

This people are not serious. The Igbos living in the Northern part of Nigeria should better warn them to disembark...because they become easy pickings for those ravaging beast when kasala burst!
This is what Ipob want, they want to sacrifice some few igbos in the north so they can get the sympathy and attention of the world powers.

A simple question for you:

If I hand you and some other men cartridge guns and ask you to go and face Fulani herdsmen with AK 47, will you obey?

Before you respond, make sure you know the difference between a cartridge gun and AK47.
Now, the question is how did you come about the kind of guns the outfit will deploy and who told you that we don’t have the conventional Nigeria security forces as part of the outfit, there will be police, military and NCDS as part of the outfit along with OPC and other locals. It’s something akin to the the JTF component in the fight against BH.

Try and seek more info when making comment and do more for LIKES purpose

That's what the governors should be fighting for, not some useless security outfit.
Are you more interested in the name it’s called or the operation. I’m sure this is like an experiment and if it succeed, other regions will definitely tap into the idea.

What you have there is already a regional police or regional security outfit, depending on how you want to call it.

Some of you just want to see the problem without looking for a solution, no matter how little it seems.

What the SW is doing is working within the ambit of what the constitution permits for now and considering the urgency, this is about the most workable security solution, rather than waiting endlessly for a constitutional amendment that allows for state or regional police.
