The truth is that Obi’s image (as an ethnic bigot) by northerners while he was the governor of anambra ( allegations) is a political liability for any candidate from the north.

It was quite easy for APC to make a mince meat of him in the north which caused PDP and Atiku a whole lot of political capital and votes.

I doubt if Atiku will be enthusiastic in running with him again if he decides to make another attempt

Outside the SE, Obi is a political baggage to any political party and presidential candidate, even Ekweremadu has more political capital and network across Nigeria ( by virtue of his senate positions) than Obi.

Nobody will cede power to igbos, it's about negotiation or Secession.

My people are too Republican that nobody hears the other. If Ohanaeze don't strategize and negotiate the Igbo presidency by first forming a unity front among the vested interests then take that position to negotiate with other regions and political interest, then nothing different will happen.

One thing is certain though, the voice for Secession will be louder than before after the election.
