God bless you o. Lagos doesn't have power to tax companies. FIRS does that. The income of the workers are taxed. Every company tax goes to FG same for oil companies. Lagos makes its money more from informal sectors especially hospitality such as hotels, clubs and so. Even if oil companies are moved to SS States, the FG would still collect the tax.
Young lady with good intelligence.

So what is the point of 'one Nigeria'? This one kills this person, another goes and kills another. What is the point being together?

Nzeogwu was not acting on the instructions of Igbos when he organised his coup.
Truth is I don't want to share a country with you and the reason that I've never step my foot into your area, because I just simply detest sharing passport with you

Mr. man talk to me and stop harassing and insulting the pretty young lady, Shameless man after all she told no lies, why don't you pick on someone your own size.

I have mentioned several Igbo cities and towns with shorelines since you have been avoiding them i will drop the list here again, check this Igbo cities and towns that have shorelines, PH, Bonny, Opobo, Ubani and Obuaku less than five Nautical miles to the sea, qualifies as a sea port by UN standards. grin

So leave the young lady alone she has not told any lies. she's just stating afonja truths i know this can be very painful and hurtful for an afonja yoot grin.
I realised late that you are just another ipob that have nothing in your head but insult
Which yeye Igbo towns are those, the fact that they are your neigbours doesn't make them Ibos

The way some folks from SW who knows no where except Lagos open their mouth so wide screaming to high heavens that igbo land is land locked is beyond me.

The question is do you folks know the boundaries of igbo speaking areas of Nigeria?

Do you none travelers think that the five states of the Nigerian state fraudulently curved out is the boundary of igboland?
My advice is move around and learn instead of claiming too know.
Shut up and stop spitting dirty saliva all over me
Simply show me any ibo speaking town with sea shoreline

Oh so it's true you are an Afonja, I even thought I was discussing with some one from akwa cross, so if you are an afonjite why do you want to draw the map of Igboland for we Igbos.

Better give yourself brain and find one shrine and keep yourself busy with those incarnations.
Since you are out of depth, as usual with ipobs, you resort to your default setting - insults
Like I said right from onset, you can insult to your heart content, it doesn't change the fact that there is NO IGBO SPEAKING COASTLINE in anywhere in the world grin

A EU style confederation of two separste can work for Yorubas and Igbos, but not for long.

Sooner or later, Yorubas will start looking for their precious 'one Nigeria' and invite the Northerners into the mix. Thats when the Igbos will pull out.
In the history of Nigeria, tell me between Yorubas and Igbos who have cooperated most with Northerners politically

Are these Igbo Islands also landlocked, Opobo and Ubani. You always fail to remember that Igbo's do have a port already in one of their Cities of Ph and other Igbo cities in the SE also have water bodies that empty into the Atlantic which opens Igboland to the world, So young man Igbo land can never be landlocked, get your facts right.

Still on
It is in the Obuaku, Ukwa West LGA, and the site lies by the Azumini River that flows into the Atlantic Ocean much much closer to the ocean than Imo and Niger. And what is more, and it is just five nautical miles from the Ocean going by the UN’s law it qualifies as a sea port.

What Obuaku City should look like
Oga, stop wasting my times with these renditions biko.

Off course a river port is not a sea port many countries of the world including the United States utilize river ports, river ports are no less ports than sea port the serve the same purpose and can handle same vessels, so being a river port or not holds no water.

What do you mean they can be dammed before getting to the port of destination, well that is a security challenge, which you should leave in the hands of our more than able gallant naval officials, I hope you have been seeing how they have been dealing with militants, sea pirate and vandals, so leave them to do their jobs of securing the water ways.

Tysontim have already help me with pictures and links to satisfy your curiosity, I hope you read it with a open heart devoid of hate, jealousy, anger and bitterness so that you can properly grasp the content there in, again why are you concerned about where the vessels pass through and the ethnic composition of the water ways, is it not one Nigeria again? Or are you a sea pirate? Do you have plans to give these ports a bad image leave those concerned to do their jobs

Well I don't want to derail this thread but I hope you know, Ph, Bonny and Opobo are Igbo towns and settlements.

Stop hurting Igbo land is not land locked.
Igbo land is completely surrounded on all four points by lands. Igbo land is landlocked

After all the long talk, all they've provided so far are renditions of the Sea-port.

It's obvious even to the blind that there is no SEA that borders Igboland.

On Obuaku

On the Abia State Seaport

The governor has initiated efforts to link Aba to the sea through the development of the Obuaku City Port.

The governor said groundwork has been done on Obuako port, and work will soon begin. This will give a great boost to Aba
as the commercial hub of the South East and South South.
