You guys should stop this yoruba/ igbo hate already. Seeing the height of hateful comments between this two tribes, I can't but weep for the future of this country and to even imagine that it is coming from the so called leaders of tomorrow makes it so appalling. There is no gain in claiming superiority or creating hate over one another. Please lets all embrace peace and unite to move the country forward. PROUDLY NIGERIA.
Yorubas won't stop pummeling the iboess until they all go home to Biafraa. grin

We don't need to prove anything. We have already fought the powers that be for 3 years. You on the other hand will never be able to fight anything, just 'Siddon Look' and follow the directives of your Northern masters because you are too scared to stand up and oppose them.
Shut the Fucck up!
You didn't fight anything. You provoked the northerners and they started killing you all, you then ran off to your enclaves and they still chased you down there and killed over 3M of you flatinooos!
Stop bragging about the darkest spot in your history as a tribe.

You are lazy just like the Bayelsa state governor said, if you are not, you won't need Oyel to excel in life or feel marginalized

If he can employ more Northerners and little or no SW person don't you think he would not site any project in the SW.
You guys are more interested in employment and political appointments that benefit just few. I will eventually rate him after 4 years in terms of infrastructure in the various regions he completed.
If Buhari can finish up the 2nd Niger Bridge, it will be worth the effort than having Ibos fill all cabinet positions without tangible developments in the East.

chuxjay:
“It is not in our DNA to allow someone to just die by road accident or the way it happened in respect of the incident.
But beyond the fact that we lost one person while crossing the road as a result of evading arrest by KAI officials, I need to tell Lagosians that over 49 buses were actually destroyed
and it is costing us like almost N139m to put those buses back on the road." - Gov. Ambode

The speech above was the governor's reaction to the incident that occurred earlier this week in Maryland, Lagos state. I am shocked that a sitting governor will say "beyond the fact that we lost one person......over 49 buses were destroyed and it will cost N139m." So the life of a Nigerian is nothing compared to the millions he mentioned? Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, that person was someone's son, brother, uncle, friend and above all a creature of God. You did not have to dismiss his death like it was one chicken that got killed on the road. He probably was one of the voters who gave you your mandate after standing in the sun just to cast his vote for you. I am truly shocked and disappointed in your statement and I expect you to retract that statement and issue a public apology to the parents of that Nigerian who could have been you if things had not been the way they are or even your own child or nephew. Law enforcement agents have caused so much avoidable deaths in the discharge of their duties in the most inhumane approach. Why chase someone on the highway? Please chase armed robbers in that way and not unarmed hungry Nigerians seeking for their daily bread. Govern with a human face. All power belongs to God! There is a day of reckoning! Do not destroy what you cannot create!
The life of the hawker that died is not worth 149M and the thousands of commuters that will suffer some discomfort when 49 buses are removed from the road if he can be hawking handkerchief of less than 10k
You may think I'm harsh, but that is the reality.

I can now see Nigeria's can never work together, the rate of tribalism is too high on nairaland, y can't we just be proud that he is a Nigeria man than for u to bring tribalism into it, I think the best thing that will favour this country it's to be divided, so that u guys can insult yourself as u like, even the Yoruba's that are meant to be cool headed are the worst, because the man is a Yoruba makes u the president of USA,.
The yorubas on this forum used to be very cool headed until all those badly trained tennager iboes discovered a place call NL.

I will not comment on the article but I will com.ent on the adage

That adage is apt about the Yoruba ..how can they think of excreta and plate of food the same time

It has proved what I was suspecting since that the Yoruba use the same bowl and bucket to bath and cook.

I have been vindicated

Now go on with your Lawal story...who gives a damn

Clinton ain't winning

Period
Your phobia and hatred for yoruba will ultimately lead to your death. Just because a Yoruba man is involved in Clinton Presidency ( exactly Tinubu was involved in Obama's Presidency) bid, you are wishing her negative. You people have lot of bubbling negative and hate filled energy enough to make nuclear reactor.

Ask your parents what they said during 1966 that Igbo has made the prices of garri high in Lagos
Igbo has been scheming them out in Lagos and to get an average Yoruba man buy him food ...no wonder your states are in sorry states because of stomach infrastructure
We will so chock you and the money out of Lagos .....you can't do anything about it rather to rant online or at most carry placards around as usual

The biggest real estate investor in Lagos and Nigeria is Yemi Idowu (you are free to google the name), but you will barely here anyone making noise here about their worth.
Your nuisance value in Lagos far outweighs any positive contribution you bring. It will be huge relief and good riddance to bad rubbish if you ungrateful things leave, and leave you would leave.
