Wizprodigy: [s]In a nut shell, just because he attended an occasion doesn't make him a bad governor. Your complaint should be forwarded to the governor of osun state, who built the longest talking drum with no economic importance and admitted the inflation of osun airport project by a whooping 9 million naira to a governor who built a market place with 100 stores, sent unemployed youths to aba to learn trade hence reducing unemployment and it's vices and also partnering with anambra state to improved the standard of education in ekiti. Simple. So you might want to tell be who is the useless governor between those two[/s]? Ok |

rummmy: lagos and abuja belong to all Nigerians......simple qtns......what does SW produce, what does NOrth produce and what does SE produce...its obvious that SS lay the egg we all share....apart from the little crude in imo, abia, ondo and even edo,the rest are parasites...those with larger poor population are more parasite than others........ So why are you people now crying that SW is taking a huge chunk of the budget to rehabilitate roads in Lagos if you agreed that Lagos and Abuja belongs to all Nigerians? Going by your analogy, the SW is short-changed because the real infrastructure that benefit the SW are not in the budget. |

Wizprodigy: You were also wrong just because you want to be calculative. If he is using his own pocket money to sponsor his self then there is nothing wrong. Least he has a deputy to run affairs in his absence. Mind you some when last year he sent some youth to aba to learn trade and skills acquistion, he might probably want to see how they are faring and their progress. Try not to look things with a pestimistic lens just because he is a governor doen't mean he should not relax a bit. Aregbesola and ambode also enjoy their free time. You are using too many words to explain a simple matter. Where is your evidence that some youths from Ekiti are in Aba to learn anything? Is the jamboree the venue of the vocational study if there is anything of such? He is there to play meaningless politics - Simple. |

There is no real problem in traveling by the President to meet world leaders to discuss issues regarding NIGERIA. What issue regarding Ekiti is the yeye governor discussing at a party victory celebration.? |

AtlanticBreeze: who is shinning teeth with you. Nigerians move to lagos just like they move to Abuja which are fg projects... Nobody is migrating to cash strapped SW states that are begging for bailouts So is Lagos not in the SW region? So why are you crying that the SW is getting a larger share of the Work's ministry budget? Why are you doing approbation and re-probation at the same time? You should stop crying about the budget allocation to Shagamu-Benin, Apapa-Oshodi, Lagos-Ibadan and Airport Roads then. You claimed Lagos is not SW but at the same time crying that SW is having a large portion of the budget. Confused people |

Do we know what projects this budget will fund? What about if this "paltry" sum is enough to cover the infrastructure projects set out for the South East?
Let us ask these type of logical questions before shouting tribalism...does budget allocation really matter as long as infrastructure commitments are met? The South Easterners have allowed the false sense of importance that GEJ gave them to becloud their common sense |

Highly misinformed and ignorant talk that can only come from the usual predisposition to empty and ignorant chest - beating never justified by events and realities on the ground.
The ignorant OP should know that the SW is the biggest and most successful regional economy in Nigeria with the biggest potential for immediate and future growth. Yet don't let the little word called fact stand in the way of your amusing delusions of grandeur. Bros, I don't expect you to engage these mo.rons on their ego-trip. SirShymexx: What is "one Nigeria"? And where was "one Nigeria" when Buhari's appointment were lopsided in favour of the North, ditto GEJ and his shenanigans? Where was "one Nigeria" when Iweala appointed only Igbos to run the finance sector of the country?
So, only Yoruba should keep making sacrifices for "one Nigeria" that only exist on paper? Is Nigeria even a proper country?
Despite the fact that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the budget based on how lopsided the migration pattern in the country is - better wake up cos there's no "one Nigeria". It is all about interests and one region can't keep making sacrifices to its detriment for others. It has to be symbiotic. Those people are really deceptive. When GEJ was messing up, they encouraged him saying it's their turn which they call the CHOP-SAND SYNDROME, now that the the new government is trying to correct years of neglect of federal roads in lagos, they are shouting ONE NIGERIA. Useless people. |
