@ALL,i'm pleased to know that our admission status is now reaching a substantive height.concerning the acceptance fee payment,as for me,i'm in OGUN STATE(ABEOKUTA),and i just checked with the sky bank here.the bank attendant told me that he just had contact with OAU today,said the SUG is yet inconclusive about the hiked fees;and that we were asked to check back tomorrow.by tomorrow,i hope,the banks shud be opened for payment;of course,it's going to be nationwide.

@ ALL,I just tried to apply for a 'bed space allocation',and this appears 'No more Bed Space Allocation for your Category of Student 1'.does this mean there are no more vacancies in OAU HALLS OF RESIDENCE,probably for my sex?

in additn to the afore info.it is specifically instructed dat all candidates shud keep all receipts for payments at banks,as they will be used during online reg and the screening exercise.hopes on the second list and the eportal update shal all be accomplished less than a fortnight.also,by dis first week of jan,flyers enumerating the admission requirements and procedures shall be pasted at all facuties in the schul.keep all hopes alive!!!!

Hi brethren.i just read through d Tribune,though hurriedly. although it was indicated dat online reg wil commence on Dec29th,yet,it hasnt been updated in d eportal;i blv it wil,soonest.acceptance fee will be 20,000 flat,while tuition fee for faculty of arts,administration,law, wil pay 14,500.other faculties lik agric and oda science related faculties are to pay 16,500 or near.we are to purchase d scratch card in banks nationwide,mostly Skye bank,first bank,oceanic, the online reg is to proceed til jan16th.from jan17th-jan 23,screening/verification wil take place within d various faculties.candidates who fail to partake in dese screening within d specified time wil forfeit their admission.matriculatn is slated for feb23rd.the hostel fee remains static @ 3,090,and only 2000 spaces are available for the freshers(it is first come, first served).we are to come along with the original and 4 photocopies each of our credentials including birth certificate/sworn affidavit of age.anyone else can add to or fine-tune this info.digest dis for the moment,

@ all, i was in oau today to secure accommodation off campus and was able to get. An official told me that freshmen are expected to start registration jan 15. I was also told the 2nd batch list

@Lords baba, i do not believe the fee increment on accomodation et al, though i do not have a reason not to. I understand that Faborode,the VC, is at the tail end of his tenure. I do not believe he will now do what he was unable to do 4yrs ago, given the nature of the Student Union on ground. He will rather leave all these for the new VC to face. Lol!
