as for me, on d acc name, i wrote " OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY ILE-IFE". And on top of d teller, i wrote OAU ACCEPTANCE FEE, and so on.all dis, i did under d supervision of d Bank officials. but surprisingly now, d acc name given on d eportal is; "O.A.U. ACCEPTANCE FEES REMITTANCE ACCOUNT". who is fooling who? i bet u, i'm off to Ife on the morrow, damn it!!!

@ALL, we now av a serious,mystical issue at hand.the acc no dat was just pasted on the eportal,belonging to d Skye bank for the acceptance fee payment, is different 4rm the one given to us in skye Bank of Ile-Ife.
The acc no on d eportal is : 1971790000441, while d one we were given to pay into in d OBA ADEREMI BRANCH is : 1961790000229.dis was d same account we paid in d accomodation fees.cud it be dat we paid in2 a wrong acc no,dat has hindered our account frm being credited on d eportal?hmmmmmm,oau is lukin for war!!! i'm off to Ife tomorrow!!!!

I refuse to fix blames on your stand b/c u have no idea what it entails to be a leader in a union such as OAU's. Given the vibrancy of the union as compared to others in other schools, u will not expect anything less. But for this kind of struggle, which u wrote off without a second thought, our fees would have been at an all time high. I expected your reaction to be that of appreciation. I will say no further because i'm opptmistic that u will learn the details yourself once u resume your studentship. Until then, i pray u to assume an appreciative mood than what i read supra b/c these leaders sacrifices alot for our sake. They equally suffer a great deal of victimization.

@all 2nd choice candidate, dat av gave up of getting admission to OAU due to d orientation u av dat OAU don't normally consider dose dat make OAU as 2nd choice. pls i don't want u guys to loose hope in OAU, cos i don't see d post som ppl dat i know as 2nd choice candidate on this tread since d the release of the first batch list in the like of faith, codzereel and others. The reason why i z u guys shud not loose hope is that, i know a guy, that make OAU as his 2nd choice and was given admission, although not his desired course, but at least a course related, i think the reason why he was given his desired course is because he did not meet up with the cut off mark for d course. He put in 4 Medicine and they gave him Biochemistry. he scored 244 in UTME and 200 in PUTME. i must tell u dat he did not know anybody, because he has even put in 4 current UTME, but all i know is that he was favored by God. ORIGINAL UME RESULT

your ADMISSION LETTER (FOR PRE DEGREE AND DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS)

FOR LAW STUDENTS, IT MIGHT BE OF IMPORT TO KNOW THAT AN F9 IN MATHS WILL SUFFICE. GOT TO LEARN THAT NOBODY GIVES A DAMN ABOUT your MATHS SCORE IN O'LEVELS AND PLEASE TRY TO GET ALL THESE DOCUMENTS B4 U LEAVE FOR IFE SO THAT U WONT BE TURNED BACK because GETTING THEM IN IFE MIGHT BE A BIT DIFFICULT WHEN THE RUSH STARTS.

I sincerely wonder why I have not seen no posts from admitted Law students. Does that mean that no Nairalander made the merit cut off for Law not that its surprising coz its the highest for all depts(275). No doubt, u all must have seen the many benefits attached to being a member of this site,most especially this thread.its provin to be a long thread though i doubt that it will compete with that of last year in terms of length which saw a record 80+ pages, many thanks to the timely and beneficial comments from the likes of muyeskin,johnpaul,oebos09 and many more altruistic dudes and chics(won't fail to count myself among)who sacrificed a lot by always keeping their ears to d ground so that info can be quickly accessed and passed to all and sundry. These dudes stood still the very end. M not surprised to see that sum of them are back to obviate wateva problems that might be experienced by the incoming guys.



M saying all these to emphasize the need for consistency on the part of everybody who has chosen to be a member of this thread whether admitted or not, don’t leave this thread because uv been admitted. u will be doing a lot of harm coz those that are not yet admitted need your support most especially @ this time coz they are abt to be subjected to the excruciating wait that is characteristic of OAU’s subsequent lists and for those that are worried that they've not seen their name yet, me thinks its to early to worry abt that coz admission stretches till the eve of matric(u still have 3 to 4 months to pray and hope).

For those havin difficulties with registration, patience is all u need. I’ll also advise that u try to purchase your cards on campus so that u don’t fall victim to fraudsters. If u wait till I get on campus, U’ll have more than enough time for your registration. I advise patience and caution not sloth. If u adopt a lackadaisical approach to your reg, u’l regret it. I carelessly neglected to register for my health centre quickly. When I was ready for it, the xray machine “mysteriously” developed that could not be repaired till the end of the session! Now I am compelled to pay an inordinate amount of N2500.00 before my registration can be completed otherwise I wont be treated even if I were @ the point of death.

If u need additional info, DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME. M always willing to help. Started this with Johnpaul and the likes and I’m not ready to pull out now AND REMEMBER, ALWAYS KEEP your EARS TO THE GROUND COZ NO INFO IS TOO INCONSEQUENTIAL. Cheers!!!
