No, it's still accepted. Because even if a Xhosa person marries into another culture, she'll have to accept the way they do things "over there". Most of our traditions haven't changed much. I guess we're resistant to change Culture is culture. Most of us believe that if you lose touch with culture, you lose your identity. Hence we still uphold & preserve the ways of our ancestors.
