I can authoritatively tell you that it can be used to pay for tuition in the UK and also on sites that use other payment processors that are not PayPal. However, it will not be accepted at sites that use PayPal for payment processing because the cards are not linked to a bank account.

The bolded is not totally true, I've bought items from eBay with PAYONEER and NETELLER cards linked to my PAYPAL account and I checked out with PayPal, even checked out successfully on WALMART with my PAYONEER card processed via PayPal, there may be a few sites that don't accept prepaid card quite ok, it has nothing to do with PayPal

chinoxl doesn't have an idea of who he's messing with.. he should understand HP(.) com is quite different from Amazon or eBay which he's used to. my HP laptops were shipped to his address and he asked for the payment invoice after which I told him hp doesn't give invoice but I have the transcript then he told me to go ahead with it. after giving him the stuff he later mailed me that it wasn't what he asked for and ever since then he has not been picking up calls. he should either ship me my items or return to the sender's address as soon as possible if not I might be forced to ship COFFINS to his office every week.

I've been following the case of this notorious Awaritefe on NL for a while, the guy is smart and in fact he's a very active member of this forum, I believe he spends nothing less than 12 hrs daily going through threads on the business section looking for posts he can pounce on(I know he's reading this post as well)
A classic example was his case with tumababa, he knows tumababa to be very active and a veteran in the business section, so he had to give him account details which didn't contain his real names which would definitely raise eyebrows immediately, but in his case with desoul2004 he observed that the guy is probably new here or he's not an active member(he must have checked out his profile and posts on NL) so he gave the account details with the 'Awaritefe' since he knew the guy won't be conversant with that name.
I have done a few transactions on NL with about 7 monikers, most times I sent funds first - Bizbloke and Ayo8 comes to mind, but I've never got scammed(not that I'm too smart, anyone can fall victim of scam) just because I do due diligence on any moniker I want to transact with, especially those ones that are not so popular, there are a few monikers I can deal with without any hassles as they are more like household names here on NL (this is not any form of recommendation) - legalwealth, arbitrage, ymodulus, tosinjay, e.t.c (this list is by no means conclusive)
For newbies on this business section, I have the following recommendations to guide you in having a safer dealing(this is by no means a rule of thumb):
1) take some time to study the thread and establish which members are 'trusted' sellers/buyers
2) always request and run a check on the moniker of the person you want to transact with
3) it is safer to transact with monikers registered up to 3 years and above(you can still get scammed, go to the next line)
4) use the NL search button to conduct a check on every details of the individual e.g phone number, account number, account names, real name, moniker, company name, e.t.c one after the other
5) if you're still in doubt make a post and ask older members for advice
6) when it's too good to be true, please exercise great caution! caveat: not all cases in this category is scam, e.g gabman700 (a 'trusted' seller) sells amazon gift cards at 265/$ but some other people sell theirs at 275-285/$
7) finally, use you instincts, if you find any reason not to transact with the person, call off the deal

Don't ever try use them....u will end up paying two times the price of the TV, try ADELOVE shipping, they are the best out of the four freight forwarders I've tried.... I've used Chinos, Mikyangel, and them in the past, I wasn't too impressed

I see you're trying so hard to clear yourself of the accusation, but all your explanations will amount to nothing as you're yet to refund Eriolaoluwa for the $110 PayPal transfer you were supposed to send to her. A complaint has been lodged against you and we have every necessary details of the transaction between the two of you. I will admonish you to refund her since you've not been able to deliver the PayPal funds to her. Failure to do so, within the grace period she has given you will be counter-productive, I won't say more than that.

About that thread, I got an AdSense loophole on how to get adsense accts few months ago (close 2 a year now) and I started selling AdSense ACCTS. Some ordered and I delivered and I decided to extend the service to nairalanders. I was contacted by many but few paid ( I think just 2 or 3). And by that time,the trick got saturated and AdSense blocked it coz pple DAT bought from me went on to resell without my consent. So this three guys placed orders and I Promised to deliver in 3 days tym as usual (nt knowing AdSense blocked the loophole).
I was unable to get approval after 3 days... And on the fourth day,I saw the post here on Nairaland..I contacted him immediately and he explained everything to him,I even demanded for few days..And he agreed,and we were exchanging msgs daily...He didn't take down the post and the other 2 guys dropped their review too...
