distance from Lagos to London is just over
5,000km. What the claim by the President means is
that they have constructed a road from Lagos to
London five times. But the Lagos-Ibadan

So where did they see the 25,000km roads?

Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis has taken on
the ‘case for Christ’ as he is suing the State of Israel, the Republic of Italy and a whole slew of New Testament characters on behalf of the “Friends of Jesus.”

Indidis filed his suit in the International
Court of Justice in the Netherlands, also
bringing suit against Tiberius, the Emperor of Rome; Pontius Pilate; Annas, a Jewish Chief Priest; King Herod; Jewish
elders and Jewish teachers of the law.

“I filed the case because it’s my duty to
uphold the dignity of Jesus and I have
gone to the ICJ to seek justice for the man from Nazareth,” Indidis told Nairobian, a local Kenyan paper. “His selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.”

PoliticsExtracts From President Jonathan's Media Chat Held In Abuja [details] by lordmayor2013(op): 11:46pm On Feb 11, 2015
Nigeria’s president, Goodluck Jonathan, tonight hosted his eight presidential media chat since May 2011. The challenges confronting Nigeria – insecurity, the economy, corruption, dearth of infrastructure – were largely discussed. Here's all he said.

On postponed elections:
The president sought the understanding of the international community over the postponed elections. He said the kind of scenarios where elections are postponed for the sake of perpetuating power is not the case in Nigeria.

Boko Haram:[\b]
The president was asked why he thinks the war against Boko Haram can be won in six weeks even though the war had raged for six years. The president said he has just acquired new weapons, and gotten support of neigbhouring countries to fight Boko Haram. He mentioned that Chad waited for African Union approval, which they recently got too.

He also mentioned that the issue of security is beyond Boko Haram. The president said it runs into dangerous signals of youth restiveness. In the next
four weeks Nigerians will see the difference in the security intervention in the North, he said.

[b]The president is asked where he bought arms for the coming onslaught on Boko Haram.

He said they managed to get from other sources other than America.

Do you have confidence in Jega to conduct the 2015 elections?
The president said he wished Jega was seated by his side to answer the question.
I wish Jega were here, I could have asked him to answer whether I have confidence in him Yes those who called for his sack may be close to me, but they
express their own opinion. More than 80 per cent of those who sponsor messages on our behalf we don't even know them. People use the reschedule of election to misinform Nigerians.
I have never thought about removing INEC Chairman, though I have the constitutional power to do so.''
GEJ blamed his supporters for rumours about Jega's resignation. "I have not told anybody that I will remove Jega," he said. He explained that if there are obvious reasons to remove Jega, he would rely
on "constitutional" provisions that gives him powers to sack whoever he appoints.

Attacks:
''The level of misinformation, especially from young people is high. Attempting to attack the president is treasonable offence. The president is protected by soldiers, not just the police. People get
carried away and make some provocative
statements.
Those who pelted my convoy during my campaigns in the Northern part of the country were ignorant. If INEC conducts the election poorly, it will be on my head."
Hate speeches and political violence by both opposition and ruling party members.
The president explained that "some people" get carried away by the political play and exude these violence. He blamed aides and associates of key political actors for the hate speeches and political
violence. He did not categorically condemn the hate speeches or war threats or politically-motivated violence.
"We will make sure things are done so that nobody goes to war," the president said when he pressed for categorical stance on the war threats by ex- militants should he lose the elections. He argues
journalists have responsibility to ensure the unity of the country.

On why he frequents churches for campaign but never visited mosques:
GEJ responded by saying he does not receive invitations from Muslims like from the churches.
If election would hold should the military fails to eliminate Boko Haram in six weeks:
The presidents said the new dates are sacrosanct and a new president would be sworn in by May 29.
He argued that the goal is not to totally eliminate Boko Haram but to make adequate security arrangement for the election.

Missing Chibok girls:
Questioning moves to the issue of the president's perceived weak support especially as it relates to the missing Chibok girls. "Just give us some times," he said, responding to questions seeking the state of the girls at the moment. The president is optimistic the girls would be rescued with the new military collaboration with neighbouring countries. "I believe the story would be different in a few weeks," the president said. "We would recover them alive."
I believe the story of Chibok Girls will get better in the next few weeks, but don't quote me. We are working with our neighbours, we will Comb the
whole of that place Partying after abduction? It's unfortunate that people play politics with the issue of Chibok girls. It's not like that elsewhere. In other
countries, political boundaries collapse in the face of terror attacks, not so in Nigeria.
With regards to his weakened political base, the president said "in politics, there are only permanent interests."

The president is asked to clarify his previous comments that "stealing is not corruption":
He said he made that statement quoting the former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Dahiru Mustafa, who explained to him that his analysis of corruption cases in Nigeria showed that most of such cases
were theft. He argued that referring to stealing as corruption minimizes the crime. "Ole (thief in Yoruba) should be called Ole and given that treatment," the president said.
"Let us communicate properly. The word corruption, we have abused it."
"It is not actually my quotation. I quoted the former Chief Justice," as he continues to defend his previous comments on corruption and stealing.
We have convicted more corrupt people than ever. It is just that Nigerians are confused on what the difference is between stealing and corruption.
The state of the N1 billion security loan and funds confiscated in South Africa.
He said the government have not started disbursing the N1 billion loan. With regards to the .3 million arms money seized in South Africa, he said the money does not belong to Nigeria, technically. He
added that the matter was in court.

The president is asked if he would hand over if he loses the next election.
"If the elections are conducted and I lose, of course, another president would be sworn in," the president said. He argued that Nigeria is more important than any individual.

The president is asked what he will do differently if he wins.
He said most of the problem he had in the past is related to perception and not concrete. He did not really say what he would do differently.

The president is asked to comment on his opponent for the 2015 general election, Buhari.
The president responded it was an unfair question.
He however mentioned that he has received more criticism that Muhammadu Buhari on social media.

The president is asked if he has confidence in INEC as presidently constituted.
He answered saying he appointed everyone at the management level of INEC.

Closing Remarks:

In his closing remarks, president Jonathan assured Nigerians that elections would be conducted and a new president sworn in on May 29. He argued that it is better for INEC to conduct an election everyone
would be happy with.

Chat ended 20:19, 11th February, 2015.

There are no missing Chibok Girls. It's a hoax. When the #Bringbackourgirls was making the waves, America, Britain, China and other concerned nations came, saw the truth ( hoax ) and quietly went back. They saw NOTHING even with their high tech drones and satellite imagining
Only Shekau and his collaborators know the source of the women he posted as ' Chibok Girls '.
Am sorry bro, you are lost.
Even the Military at first denied the abduction of the missing girls before confirming it was true.
On 4 May, GEJ spoke publicly about
the kidnapping for the first time, saying the
government was doing everything it could to find the
missing girls.

On 5 May, a video in which Boko Haram leader
Abubakar Shekau claimed responsibility for the
kidnappings emerged. Shekau claimed that "Allah
instructed me to sell them...I will carry out his
instructions." and "Slavery is allowed in my
religion, and I shall capture people and make them
slaves." He said the girls should not have been in
school and instead should have been married since
girls as young as nine are suitable for marriage.

So guy if you are sleeping, wake up the girls are truly missing.

BusinessFunny Things People Do In The Bank by lordmayor2013(op): 6:37am On Feb 11, 2015
I visited the bank this monday morning and met quite number of people at the bank door so decided to pen down my observation..Enjoy!

1. The trustworthy ones.
This kind of people will enter the door with their hands raised up and their heads bowed down like they have given their life to christ..
People inside will be like ”Oga enter the door has opened.!

2. The impatient ones.
This ones lack patience, they always wished the door will open and close fast..
I was entering the bank the other day. A guy inside started yelling at me.. Do fast come out nah, when the door hasn't opened yet…. i was like come Jack me come out nah..

3. First timers.
This ones don't know how to operate the door, some will even think the bank has closed, some will wait for someone to comeout before they enter.

4. The suspicious ones.
This ones will have to pull their
belt, necklace, wristwatch, bangles, shoes, drop their phones, keys even after much done they would be denied entrance..
The security officer be like ”oga you be welder ?

5.The Experts.
This kind of people frequent the bank and now with idea of how to bypass the security..when they enter the door they would hold out every metal object like keys, phones outside the door until the door makes attempt to close..
When one door closes the other must open. wink

6. The Restless.
This ones will even join someone in entering the door, even when they enter alone they will want to know how many people are inside the bank before the door opens.

7. Questionnaires.
This ones will come to the door and ask questions that one needs to consult the gods before they answer,
questions like..
People full inside bank?
Them they pay inside?
Teller still remain?
The ac dey work?
Have you guys closed for work?
Them dey show match inside?

8. The battle kings.
When there is no one inside the door and coincidentally two people wants to enter from both inside the bank and outside.. They will keep pressing the buttons vigorously like a game pad..
Who the cap fits let him wear.!

Feel free to add yours!

Fashion15 Amazing Things You Never Knew You Could Use Vaseline For by lordmayor2013(op): 1:46pm On Feb 02, 2015
This light yellowish/buttery coloured slimy gel in a
transparent jar with a blue cover still remains fresh
in our memories. It's been a skin-protecting staple
since 1872, when the first patent for petroleum jelly
was introduced. But did it ever occur to you that the
all time evergreen Vaseline has more beauty and
fashion uses than just rubbing it on children's skin?
Bet you didn’t! We present to you 15 other amazing
things you can do with the petroleum jelly.

1. CUTICLE CREAM: Keep a little tub of Vaseline by the sink and work into cuticles twice a day. It’s all you’ll need to prevent cuticles from growing. Vaseline moisturize dehydrated nailbed.

2. FACIAL MOISTURIZER: Because it’s non-
comedogenic, (does not block the pores of skin)
petroleum jelly is perfect for locking in moisture
without risking breakouts.

3. EYEBROW TAMER: Control errant and unruly hairs and shape brows by brushing on a tiny dab of petroleum jelly using a toothbrush.

4. DIY LIP PLUMPER: Put a pinch of cinnamon in your Vaseline and you’ve got a lip plumper that
rivals anything you can buy at the beauty counter.

5. NAIL POLISH NEATENER: Before applying
polish, trace petroleum jelly over cuticles and the
skin around your nails using an eyeliner brush or
pointed cotton swab. If you then accidentally paint a
little outside the lines you can just wipe off the
mistakes after lacquer dries.

6. SHOE POLISH: If you don’t have standard
polish on hand, shine and soften shoes almost as
well by rubbing on Vaseline and buffing off the
excess.

7. EYE MAKEUP REMOVER: Just a dab instantly breaks up the toughest mascaras and waterproof liners, while leaving skin around the eyes moisturized.

8. HAIR DYE STAIN PREVENTER: Keep hair dyes from staining your forehead and ears by rubbing a thin layer of petroleum jelly just below your hairline and over each ear before coloring hair.

9. PERFUME PROLONGER: Smooth a bit of
petroleum jelly on your skin wherever you’re going
to apply perfume, and spray as usual. It will help the scent to stick.

10. MAKESHIFT MASCARA: Sweep on a light coating of petroleum jelly instead of mascara. It fakes the appearance of longer, thicker lashes, but looks much more natural.

11. LIPSTICK STAIN REMOVER: The next time you get lip-color on clothing, blot petroleum jelly on the spot as a pre-treatment, then wash as usual.

12. RING REMOVER: Have you been wearing your ring for a long time and it seems a bit hard sliding it off? use petroleum jelly as a lubricant.

13. OVERNIGHT HAND & FOOT SOFTENER: Slather your hands and feet in petroleum jelly and wear socks and gloves to bed. This will help to lock in the moisture and keep it from rubbing off. By morning, they’ll be soft and smooth — and will stay that way.

14. LUMINIZER: Petroleum jelly can be used on its own as makeup to add a little shine to eyelids
cheekbones or lips, creating a surprisingly luxe
looking sheen for such an affordable formula.

15. PREVENT ‘CHAFFS’: If at any particular time you have to struggle with chaffing skin, rub petroleum jelly wherever you tend to chafe. It’ll lubricate and protect skin.

RomanceLadies! Don't Do Any Of These Things When You Find A New Guy by lordmayor2013(op): 8:36pm On Jan 22, 2015
1) Don't take your friends along when he invites
you on a date:

Some Nigerian Ladies for some reason that is
beyond me, take their friends on a date with a guy
they just met. No positive outcome can come out of
this but some of the negatives are:
(i) The guy will be turned off
(ii) He may start liking or prefer one for your friends
to you
(iii) He will never get the opportunity to know you as
much as he wants because of the 3rd wheel
(iv) He may think you don't have a mind of your own
(v) He may turn you and your friends back

2) Don't go to his house unannounced:
One thing a man hates the most is for you to show
up at his house unannounced or invited especially
when he just met you. That's a "NO NO" because
he'll just think you're a stalker or a psycho and he'll
act out.. Some ladies out of emotions and lack of
trust show up at a guys house, what they don't know
is they are pushing him away or giving him reasons
to leave

(3) Don't ask him for Money:
Some Ladies meet a guy and in less than 2-3 weeks
the demands start rolling in. Please pay for my hair,
buy me birkin bag for my birthday, my rent is due,
or plain & simply, I need 500k or 1 million.
Every guy would take off when they meet a Lady like
this. They would say she's opportunistic and
compare her to the ladies who are not asking them
for a kobo or dime.

(4) Don't compare him to your ex or talk about
your ex,

Only if he requests: Some Ladies compare and
contrast their new guy to their old one, not only in
their mind but to his face as well. They say things
like my Ladi used to take me to KFC you're taking me
to Mr Biggs, Jide bought me Prada for my birthday
last year you're buying me Zara..
Guys hate being compared, it punctures their Ego so allow him be the Boss and take you out, don't
compare or dictate terms of dates or gifts.

(5) Don't be to quick to upload his pictures on
(Social Media) :

Ladies, you just met a guy, a new flame, the
relationship is at its early stages, there's still so
much you don't know about him why upload his
pictures for the world to see? The relationship may
not even be defined yet.. By doing this, you're giving
people room to influence and alter your infant
relationship. Also you don't want to be like those
people who have to cleanse their social media
photos of a guy's picture every 6 months because of
a breakup.

(6) Don't wear see through or exposing outfits on
your first date:

Guys are very Impulsive and instinctive by nature, by wearing a dress or gown that's says "SEX" that's all that will be on his mind and nothing else. He won't want to hear anything about you anymore; your personality, your job, your family etc. All he'll be thinking about is how he'll take you to his house or hotel room because you've sent him a signal saying you want sex.

(7) Don't bore him with your Family issues:
Some ladies carry their personal or family problems out with them on dates, instead of making waves and progress with their new guy, they talk about how their house got burnt last week, or how their friend always borrows money or clothes from them, or how they hate their sisters or brothers.. All these are TMI (Too Much Information) Focus on him and let him Focus on you.. Don't allow extraneous variables creep in and take over your conversation.

(coolDon't talk about marriage or the future:
The number one thing guys are scared of after God
is Commitment or Marriage so if you just met a guy
and you're already talking about marriage or
children he is definitely going to take off and say
you're putting him under pressure and he can't keep up.. Let him be the one to bring it up not you
because he'll say you're desperate.

(9) Don't pry about his pocket, earnings or the
car he drives:

A friend of mine went on a Blind Date at Radisson
(Lagos) to meet a Lady who his cousin had
introduced him to through Instagram. He
complained he had not even ordered a drink when
his date asked him: What car do you drive? That was
her first question.. "What do you drive?"
Most guys would be offended by this and even have
a negative impression about you immediately,
because a guy would wonder do u like me or my
car?

(10) Don't get drunk on your first outing with
him:

Firstly Ladies, this is for your own safety a lot of
ladies have been taken advantage of because they
were intoxicated.
You also don't want to embarrass yourself and say
or do things that you can't defend or verify.
