QuinQ: Do you believe in possession? Man is a machine occupied by a spirit. All it takes is for a spirit to decide to occupy AI and scientists will be saying, "This is impossible! How in the world did this thing become conscious??!"
I deserve a clap for this flash of insight! bolabizzle, LordReed, DeepSight, MaxInDHouse, kingxsamz, KnownUnknown, musicwriter
We should applaud you for dreaming up a half baked fantasy? No, sir. You are not the first to fantasize about such a thing.
QuinQ: Same thing. As you can see from definition below, what they mean is that they don't know how exactly it became what it turned out to be - same way they won't know how it developed consciousness
It is not the same thing.
As long as you agree that AI is not conscious or intelligent then this your weird dance of obfuscation is irrelevant.
ManLikeL: Brothers, What Will You Advise a Brother?
I'm currently confused about my relationship journey.
I haven't really been the type to consider a serious relationship for a while now. It's just been a couple of sex partners here and there. We do it safely and keep things on a superficial level.
Now, recently, there have been demands and questions here and there about starting a family, especially considering that my immediate junior brother is done having children. His lastborn will be three next month, while the lastborn of my family is also done having kids. Her firstborn is already 10 years old.
I seem to be the only odd one out in this regard, even though I'm arguably more financially settled than all of them. Not to brag, please; I'm just trying to paint a clearer picture of the situation.
I clocked 35 in May, and it was as if everyone in the universe agreed to centre their birthday wishes around God providing me with a wife and family. Ever since then, the reminders from my folks have been pretty loud, persistent, and disturbing.
For the first time in years, I decided to seek a proper relationship, unlike my usual superficial flings and sexcapades.
Come to think of it, I can barely go three days without proper sex. This detail should be useful later.
I met this very beautiful babe from my state. She's 27, a first-class graduate (I am too, actually), and I'm naturally attracted to every facet of intelligence, especially communicative and academic intelligence. She has both, and I'm superbly into her.
She can hold a very reasonable conversation without leaving you mentally exhausted. She's become an integral part of my life, and at this point, I think it's safe to say I'm deeply attracted to her and genuinely like her.
Worthy of note is the fact that I've enjoyed a very unusual level of peace with her over the past three months, which is absolutely unlike me.
I get correct anger ish, although I've learnt to manage it well. I'm not a violent person, but I pick offences easily, and most times, I walk away when provocations get too loud. More often than not, my walking away is goodbye. I'm so good at it.
But since meeting this babe, we've not had any ugly disagreements over these past few months. She's very calm, calculated, and receptive. These qualities have made me like her even more.
She has a reasonably good-paying job, but that's not even an issue. I earn well enough to cater for everything, but she's also financially independent. Gifting seems to be her thing, too, as she's spent quite a sum on gifts for me without expecting anything in return. I haven't even matched up to a quarter of what she's spent on gifting though.
For the first time in my life, I agreed to a no-sex-before-marriage relationship because she's a virgin.
I still dey run my games on a low, so this didn't really look like an ish.
Here lies the rub.
Just last week, she said she had a confession to make, and she opened up about being SS. Mind you, I'm AA, so, by the usual norms, this shouldn't be an issue.
But during one of our previous conversations, she had claimed to be AS and asked if I would be comfortable settling down with someone who was SS. I almost freaked out.
I'm sorry, but I've always wanted to have AA kids. With apologies to those affected, I've always believed that if I ever have children, I owe them the best possible chances at life, including heightened intelligence, beauty, and a sound genotype. I believe I have a reasonable degree of control over who complements my genes to bring these qualities to fruition.
I'm honestly very good-looking and intelligent, so why not get someone who possesses these qualities, too?
Call it insipid or vapid, but I could swear that life has already dealt some people heavy blows by limiting their options in their quest for a future partner. Unlike those of us with AA genotypes, who can consider partners across all the common genotypes without the same risk of having children with sickle cell disease, they don't always have that freedom. I wanted my kids to have that freedom and an avalanche of options, too.
So, when she asked me that question, I sincerely freaked out and couldn't hide my disdain.
This, in turn, stopped her from opening up until last week, when she could no longer hide it.
Funnily enough, I already like her to the point where I don't mind if she's SS, BB, or iPhone.
But the fact that she lied is what actually turned out to be my ish. She's been a very straightforward person so far, and this particular issue has upset our fashioned norms.
I proposed that the no-sex-before-marriage agreement should be off if we were going to be together, and she agreed. But now, I'm beginning to think it might look as though I'm trying to take advantage of her at this point.
Brothers, what will you advise a brother? Am I being unreasonable? Considering the emotional supports people with SS need, how challenging can it be? What is the possibility that she lives long enough?
All insults, curses, and whatever are welcome. T for grateful.
I think you are on the right track. It is not vapid to think about the kind of outcomes you want your future children to have.
You are the one involved in this relationship so you have a say on whether it is what you want or not.
I encourage you to talk to this lady and let her know how you feel then let her down as gently as you can. There is no future with the 2 of you together as you have strong feelings in a different direction. Don't pity her now and then have an issue later, it will be worse than letting her go now.
QuinQ: That's because they're not thinking deeply enough. AI has "imagination" (which yiu didn't define) too! And an advanced enough AI has vastly more and better imagination than a human. See, there is NOTHING a human can do that an advanced enough AI can't do. The only thing you can say is that AI doesn't have a soul. But then what is "soul" and how are you sure all humans have it? And how are you sure AI can't develop a "soul"along the way?
Scientists who pioneered AI say they're not sure how it works, but you folks, from watching a YOUTUBE video, know everything about AI and thst it is just a language tree! (We all know most stuffs on YouTube are half-truths or garbage)
That's the thing with you, you just take a little bit of information and form a whole narrative with it to fit whatever half baked idea you have.
Scientists say they don't understand emergent aspects of AI because they are unforeseen outcomes as they were not programmed for. Then you just take that and claim that they don't know how it works. Bro you the one not thinking about this.
QuinQ: Human intelligence is also "neural nets processing information". When a system becomes complex enough, it becomes indistinguishable from human intelligence
QuinQ: It is not a matter of questioning reality at all. It is a matter of seeing that a complex enough AL's consciousness is indistinguishable from human consciousness.
AI is as conscious as a rock, in other words it isn't.
QuinQ: You folks truly believe this below was writen with ulterior motives??! How are you sure your consciousness is not artificial??
It is irrelevant if scientist fully understand it or not, your submission clearly states these are neural nets processing information. It is not intelligent. At least not yet.
QuinQ: You folks truly believe this below was writen with ulterior motives??! How are you sure your consciousness is not artificial??
Anybody who starts questioning reality because they need to defend a position has lost the argument. You are giving up your own ability to pronounce any statement of knowledge. Stop doing it.
Historyrewrites: The incident highlights the importance of obtaining professional medical confirmation of death rather than relying solely on a pulse or breathing check performed by an untrained person. The precise medical explanation for the reported incident remains unclear based on the information available.
QuinQ: Thank you very much for the video but it is extremely simplistic and therefore not factual. Like I've told you before, I have heard one of the pioneers and vanguard of AI interviewed and directly heard him say that no one understands exactly how AI works. Which is supported by the screenshots below. How does AI know to the second what time it is if it is trained only once? How is it so current about everything that is going on to the second? Also, the reference for this video is 2020, over 6 years ago, when AI people had 10 fingers and you can instantly tell if something was AI. Finally, based on ideas from this video, think of a question you will ask AI that you can trick it into getting wrong. bolabizzle, DeepSight, MaxInDHouse, kingxsamz, KnownUnknown, musicwriter
Either you weren't paying attention or didn't watch to the end. These issues were covered. For instance AI doesn't do calculations it hands it over to separate unit. Then the issue of not knowing how it works was covered by the fact that it was not expected to know how to code, that just showed up but is still explained by the fact that they are LLM and all the associations coding requires is still part of the associations it forms.
Look through this guy's YouTube channel and see all the various ways he tricks AI:
QuinQ: The funny thing is that there are lots of things to counter him with. OP's HUGE mistake is that he is confusing Jusus' stature now with his stature back then. His followers were neither scholars nor writers. His story was passed on by word of mouth till it was writen down. It is a historical fact that there were lots of crucifixions back then. It is as if OP heard this theory of Jesus never existing somewhere then put on blinders and has refused to actually logically examine what he heard. He kept saying Eusebius wrote St. Paul's letters even after being shown that Eusebius was born centuries after Paul's letters were writen!
Why would emperor of Rome invent a god that makes him (a worshipped god) a lowly sinner like everyone else?! Why would Rome invent a god that they, Romans, crucified? A god that puts them in bad light? Why would Rome invent a god to supplant all their gods that helped them become a great empire? Why would Rome invent a god that advocated ignoring things of this world, including Rome, and focusing on the hereafter? Etc. It is as if OP has refused to think. To top it all off same Jesus is alive and working today, exactly as he said he would! We must accept there are things beyond our understanding as humans. This is one of them! It is one thing to say that you don't believe things like zombie apocalypse ever happened. It is quite another to say Jesus and early Christians never existed! bolabizzle, LordReed, bolabizzle, DeepSight, MaxInDHouse, kingxsamz, KnownUnknown, musicwriter
I have heard Christians reject the that for better or worse phrase because they say poverty is not their portions it is actually not strange to me if someone is uncomfortable with that phrase. However it will go with the person's actual character. If this is a known money grubber then know it isn't a joke and they will leave if there's a financial downturn.
Kobojunkie: Assuming I was born an Israelite from my mother's womb, how exactly did you come to conclude that I am indeed not following the words of Jesus Christ of Israel? 😐😐
If it is the case that you do not assume that I was born an Israelite from my mother's womb, then wouldn't that mean you are being entirely nonsensical in your assertion, given that I made clear I, in fact, accept all that Jesus Christ of Israel said to be His truth? 😐😐
LoLz. Then you have no basis to accuse your fellow believers but you remain a hypocrite.
Kobojunkie: Indeed, I am, since I believe and accept all of Jesus Christ of Israel's teachings and commandments, including the aspect that states that it only applies to those who are descended from the bloodline of Jacob, aka Israel. 😒😒
Kobojunkie: You aren't making any sense to me! They claim Jesus Christ of Israel instead came for them, implying that His rules and teachings are in fact meant for them as well. Also, I do not accuse them of anything. They literally say they don't follow those rules despite claiming they follow Jesus Christ of Israel. 😒😒
You also claim to follow Jesus so why are you not obeying the rule?
Kobojunkieee: Jesus Christ of Israel made it abundantly clear that He was sent only to the Lost sheep of Israel, meaning His teachings and commandments apply only to those who are of the qualified bloodline. So, are you attempting to have me believing that I am of the bloodline specified by Jesus Christ of Israel? 😒😒
Then you have no reason to accuse others of circumventing rules that are not meant for them or are you attempting to have me believe that they are of the bloodline specified by Jesus Christ of Israel?
Jesus Christ of Israel made clear that to become His follower, one first has to sell/leave everything and give it away to the poor, and then become his follower afterwards. Christians claim to be followers of Jesus Christ of Israel, yet absolutely refuse to obey most of his teachings and commandments.😐😐
Am I not allowed to call them out on that? 😐😐
You still haven't answered the question, are you obeying the command?
Kobojunkie: I love the way Christians are always seeking ways to circumvent the literal commandments of Jesus Christ of Israel, the one they pretend to follow. 😒😒
... ... ... ... Essentially, to the rich, He commanded them to sell everything before they could become His followers. To the poor, He commanded that they leave everything to become His followers. All this suggests that one can't become His follower if one refuses to first sell(and give away to the poor) /leave everything. 😒
FxMasterz: Lordreed, Triplechoice and Jaephoenix. Let's not argue on unnecessary things. I will just address a few things.
There's no disputing that a hand-like shape is present in the image. You may say it's not a hand. You might be right. A hand-like shape is not necessarily a hand or an indication of a hand. But, whatever it is, it is shaped in the form of a hand with fingers. The hand-shape even touched the head in a molding posture. There's no disputing that. If you now say that the hand-shape isn't a hand. It's still okay. It doesn't have to be a hand. It doesn't have to be a human hand. It doesn't even have to be God's hand. The shape is enough as a sigh.
And you can see that we have been calling it human-like hand because it shapes that way. AI has said it's a loop of umbilical cord. I totally disagree but let's accept it is so. Let's accept it's a loop of umbilical cord. Why did it shape like a hand? Because God wanted to give a sign that He heard the woman. And, I can confidently tell you that the baby would not be born with any of the defects the doctors predicted. Go and write that down. I'm wishing the woman would return to give us the outcome.
Now, coming down to your positions. That should not necessarily be a hand. But a hand-like shape that tells the woman to stop praying because God has answered. We call it Signs. You must have heard Signs and Wonders before. God gives signs as answers to prayers. If you ask an AI what the shape looks like, it should tell you it is shaped like a hand with extended fingers. And that's exactly what we're talking about.
You are welcome to call anything a sign but you cannot play on our intelligence and claim that this is a hand.
Back to our discussion, lordreed. Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself. Not in the sense of the ritual sacrifice that you are portraying. But in the sense of satisfying the demands of justice, not just for God but for all the entities that need the justice. A person who takes it upon himself to bear the punishment of others is sacrificing himself. That is a sacrifice. Not necessarily to be tagged a human sacrifice in the sense you are projecting. For example, your younger son committed an offence. You wanted to punish him, but your elder son comes to you and says "Dad, please don't beat him. Beat me instead." That's a sacrifice. Not necessarily a human sacrifice. A sacrifice therefore can be anything you do at the detriment of yourself for the benefit of others. There's nowhere in the Bible where it is recorded that Jesus' sacrifice was a human sacrifice ritual.
Bro your spin won't work. It is very evident that the so called Jesus sacrifice is a human sacrifice, your unwillingness to accept that reality not withstanding.
Jesus Christ was a sacrifice in that sense as I described above.
He could be a sacrifice without dying but He had to die only because capital punishment is the only satisfaction for justice for any type of offence anyone can commit. No matter the offence anyone commits, capital punishment is the highest form of punishment anybody can receive. Hence, Christ taking a capital punishment for me covers any crime whatsoever that I or anyone can commit. Hope you're getting it, my friend?
Bro this is a wild claim. I think your conception of justice is warped by your beliefs. Justice is receiving punishment that is commensurate to the wrongdoing. In this your conception of justice a person who steals food because they are hungry deserves death. Even just a white lie to your wife that she looks beautiful is deserving of death. That is not justice but I guess this is how you see your god, an absolute monster who will punish finite inconsequential actions with infinite punishment.
Now, God accepted Jesus' sacrifice as a judge would accept the sacrifice of someone standing in for someone else. This is the human-like scenario:
How come we don't use this system of justice?
I committed crimes. My punishment is death. I was arrested and was about to be sentenced by the law. Jesus comes in. Argues it out in court, and proves to the court that He was the one who committed the crime. I was just a victim of circumstances. He takes my sins upon Himself. He takes my sentence and suffers in my stead.
LoLz. So in this scenario Jesus comes in lies and perjures himself in the court? Bro why do your claims and scenerios have be so terrible in conception? You are destroying your own argument. Do you think if someone has to lie in court to get the defendant off the punishment that justice has been served? Bro na wa o.
Why can't the judge just forgive without requiring any punishment?
1. The judge is not the only entity who wants to see justice. The judge can forgive but what about the complainants? There are several entities involved in a sinful expedition. Not just God. All demands of justice must be fulfilled, otherwise, God will not be a Just God. Remember that woman, Mariam Sanda who killed her husband? She was sentenced to life in prison. Tinubu forgave her. The husband's father forgave her. But other family members did not. Tinubu had to withdraw his forgiveness, otherwise, he would not be a just president.
Who are these entities?
2. Outright forgiveness without consequences would not allow the offender to see the weight of his offences. He could even bank on being forgiven again. But when he sees that someone was punished for him, he'll also understand that he might not be lucky next time. He'll adjust his life. In my case, I'll adjust my life to satisfy the demands Jesus made on me before giving up Himself on my behalf. Now that He died that I may live, I must not allow His death to be in vain. My duty is to live loyal to the One who ransomed me. If He demands righteousness from me, then I must give it because the life I currently have is not mine but His.
Let me stop here my friends, as I wouldn't want to bore you with too many words. Serving God is sweet. I just came out from an electrifying experience in His Presence. It was very wonderful. It costs nothing to acknowledge God. Why then are you so averse to doing something that costs you absolutely nothing?
Bro your so called god is an unjust monster that doesn't know how to tackle things that humans have figured out long ago. I dunno what is sweet in believing and purportedly serving such a terrible concept. Are you such a terrible parent that you can't forgive your own child without demanding some form of retribution for every single wrong? Aside from defending yourself from a deadly attack can you conceive of any reason why you would kill your own child because they did something wrong against you? Can you conceive of a scenario where you agree to torture your child to death because they did something against you? Bro I really hope you aren't a terrible parent with the way you believe this terrible concept of justice.
1. The xray that woman shown was taken in a hospital in Spanish Fork,Utah but the woman is living in Kentucky. How come? 2. The date on the same scan is 2017,we are in 2026. That is almost 9 years ago. But this story is just circulating now This scan is as funny as hell 3. Now to the ultrasound scan. What we are seeing is called artifacts which can occur in any ultrasound or xray. Its caused by radiation interacting with tissues,in this case, placenta. So its not any hand of bullshit. 4. Finally, aortic septum abnormalities spontaneously resolve in utero, requiring no intervention. We see many anatomical abnormalities in many obstetric ultrasound scans but most resolve before birth. Its not supernatural. Same way fetuses develop tails in utero which later regress. Its not any bullshit god I have realized something about religion. The less scientific an individual is,the more religious he or she is. The fit in a god in their knowledge gap. Humans was once like that, fitting in a god in phenomena we dont understand. Now with science, this god of the gap is gradually shrinking alarmingly
Finally a doctor in the house.
Bro if perhaps a patient came to you with this ultrasound would you raise an alarm?
FxMasterz: Your response didn't do justice to the questions asked. We need your views on each question. Not just reaction. Your views would now permit me to explain things to you further.
You know what I just went ahead and asked AI to make it clearer for you.
Take your pick from any of the enumerated responses. LoLz.
Murder and capital punishment are not counted as human sacrifice.
So bro you are arguing against your own Bible that Jesus was not a human sacrifice. By YOUR OWN definition the Bible says he is a human sacrifice. I said He sacrificed Himself. He offered Himself. No one sacrificed Him. So, He is not a human sacrifice in the category you intended it. He gave Himself a ransom for sins. You'll get it better when you answer the questions I asked.
Bro even your favourite discussant AI, agrees that Jesus' sacrifice is a human sacrifice see attached pictures.
Bro why are you still on this? You have literally repeated it again that you want my reaction yet you claim you didn't say you wanted it. Are you going blind? I have shown you that I requested your views. Your views were the baseline of the request. Even though I eventually used the word 'reaction', they should be interpreted in the context of views which was the predefined baseline.
Bro are you loosing the ability to comprehend English? I wrote:
Bro my reaction and my views are the same> And I made it clear to you that Views and Reactions are not the same and should never be the same. Especially when the response stays within the boundaries of reaction without moving to the next stage -views. I shared a screenshot to let you see the difference.
What are you still asking for again? I stated quite plainly that in this case my view and reaction are the same. Is that the same as claiming that views and reactions are always the same? Your response didn't do justice to the questions asked. We need your views on each question. Not just reaction. Your views would now permit me to explain things to you further.
Bro I dunno what kind of thing is messing with your comprehension. How much clearer can I say: Bro my reaction and my views are the same, this isn't justice.
Or maybe I should give it to AI to interpret for you. LoLz.
Wow. I think you really have a problem with comprehending sentence structures and tracking conversations. You said this:
I now responded with:
I said it was a silly game because to use the fact that something was not explicitly stated in the article as an attempt to support your assertions is silly because you can do it for any position making it a useless method to use in ascertaining anything.
If you say: "There's also no place in the story where her or her husband are said not to have asked a specialist." then I can say: "There's also no place in the story where the specialist is not said to have said this was not a hand," This is a silly game and if you play it I will play it too. You were the one who first asked me to point out anywhere in the story where the woman or her husband sought clarifications from the specialist. And I responded that the story also didn't say she did not. And that's to tell you that neither you nor I could claim anything on the basis of the story alone. I now subjected it to probability while also letting you know that my position has a higher stake.
I should rather call your question a silly game but I chose not to insult. You asking me if it was ever stated in the story is already out of order. You cannot expect everything to be stated in the story.
It was you who brought up that the husband would have asked questions which prompted me to ask you to point it out in the article. You can't now turn it around on me.
Who said anything about supernatural? Bro I really need to ask are you well? Seriously this is not an insult, I genuinely am puzzled. You seem to be having trouble comprehending simple written words. I wrote: "If the specialist had said it was a hand or something remarkable" how did you read supernatural in it? Remarkable simply means notable, which if it was would be noted by the specialist in their report which the woman's Ob/Gyn doctor would have picked up and told her. Where is the supernatural in this? Please, always read to comprehend so that you would not be misinterpreting. And you have the habit of insulting your opponent on the basis of your own lack of understanding.
I never insinuated that you mentioned the word supernatural. I am telling you the woman's position. The woman sees it as a supernatural occurrence. The specialist must not affirm that. That's the point. And, it's very clear, since the point we were making was on the specialist's involvement. As a professional, the specialist cannot affirm the woman.
Oh you now agree that the specialist didn't call it a hand and that it is the woman's own interpretation. Very good then, there is nothing further to argue.
Ok so why didn't she believe her own eyes before the children saw it? Is this the first time you'll find you didn't notice something until someone else points it out to you? The question should be "why didn't she ask the specialist in the hospital before leaving the premises?" She didn't even notice the extra prints. Otherwise, she would have asked right from the lab. Women are generally like that. Not very observant.
Holy Andromeda. Please stop before you show us how much of a misogynist you are. LoLz.
Show me where ChatGpt concludes it is a hand. I shared the screenshot with you.previously.
Nope Chatgpt does not say it is a hand.
LoLz! Bros it was you who claimed her medical providers should have called her out in public to debunk her claims. Are you now changing mouth?
Bros you seem to have a habit of arguing about things you have scant knowledge about. You really need to stop it, it doesn't make you look good. I said "under certain rules". Then went further to stare what they might do.
State the rule.
LoLz. Wow. Bros why don't you bother looking up the meanings of words you don't understand? Please look up the meaning of wager before you respond again and tell me how your conditions apply. SMH. The matter is not the meaning of wager. It's about why you'll wager. Humans wager heavily on high probability outcomes. You can't wager a million dollars on an outcome you yourself have classified to be inhumanly.
LoLz. Bros look up what Kalshi is. I can wager on I anything I like, I don't have to have a good reason.
