My brother having read ur write up I dont know how I feel. Is very sad. After almost 4 months of waiting now these? And oky as if that's not enough the money u spent in all that.

Is really so heartbreaking.

Oky I dont know what to advice in these instances that you reapply with same documentations or suddenly creat a new one and reapply?


I am patiently waiting cos hopefully next week maybe there should be something cos that would make it 13 to 14 weeks.

I only pray for divine favour cos it seem they are intentionally doing some funny things

Thank you my brother. Really frustrating. Resumption for semester 1 was March and I missed it, I was supposed to now resume semester 2 which is July but if I reapply or appeal and I don't know how long again this will take.

Write to Nikita (You will see his email on their poster). Explain to him and he will ask you to provide your denied visa as a proof for your claim. Then refund form will be sent to you to fill, and in less than one week you will be refunded.

Did you lodge a huge sum of money into your account prior to submission of your application. If so then that suggest the reason why they ticked account not credible. It once happened to me and I had to leave the money in the account for like 2 months before reapplying and I was granted the 2nd time.

I just got a ups mail today and visit visa wasn’t given. Reasons:
1. insufficient funds to embark on trip( had about 1.460m in the account with very healthy transaction flow)

2. Bank Statement transactions lacks credibility (wonder what they mean by that)

My brother, this thing looks like scan to me. I was denied based on these two reasons two and I am going for a tuition free program which is stated on my admission letter, I have accommodation already for my first one year with proof submitted, I have paid for health insurance already of which all these were the requirements I submitted with an account balance of 1.5M.

Yet I was denied after almost four months of waiting. I was supposed to resume semester 1 but because of the delay, my supervisor said semester 2 which will begin july. If I reapply as they said within the 10days, how sure it won't spend another 3-4months?

Hello house, I just got an SMS that my passport is ready for collection at VSF S/A visa application centre.

Applied 8/2/19 and I hope it's positive.

Go to the vfs application center and present your slip at the passport collection area. There they will confirm whether your visa is ready or not.

Option 2 which will take some weeks tho. Write to your school and explain your situation to them. Tell them when you applied and ask them to write the home affairs on your behalf.

I didn't do any reservation. Someone I know over there send me his house details which I used for my accommodation.

I just called the momentum financial advisor now to enquire if anything could be done. Since the student health insurance has been active since 1st March. If it could be stopped and the date changed to future or something.


These Vfs guys are not really considering nothing here.

I tire oh. That's about 14weeks. Both insurance, application fee, SAQA evaluation fee because mine is master's. One has spent a lot . though I heard as far as one has not done registration, the insurance will not start counting.

This one your sister's own is undergraduate, let's be hopeful. That's hope they have not resume in her school?

I' plan to visit the VFS office today or tomorrow to get any explanation. I also emailed the Consular General yesterday but no reply yet. I pray it will end in praise.

I applied for south Africa study visa since 08/02/2019 and till now I haven't heard from the embassy and when ever I track it via the vsf site, I get "your application has been received and under assessment by the south Africa high commission in Lagos"

I am worried because it's taking longer than anticipated and there is no way I can do the registration without the visa. My research supervisor is already asking me how far with the visa.

Secondly, are they not supposed to invite me for an interview?
