The Federal Government has concluded plans to substitute 20 per cent of wheat with cassava flour in bread production.

Let the wheat lobbyists and flour millers lose sleep over this and it will go down the drain like the other Cassava composite flour initiatives before it. Experts have already proven it that this initiative will only fly if their is a bill backing it. http://www.lordsonokpetu.com/2012/06/New-FG-Cassava-Initiative.html

Nostalgic cry Simply nostalgic cry cry

...Born and bred inside this campus cheesy, tutored in Great UNIBEN wink, visited UI undecided, UNILAG shocked, UNICAL kiss, UNIPORT kiss,UNIUYO wink, and Covenant UNI recently cool, I make bold to say that none of these other Universities I mentioned, including my alma mater [UNIBEN] come close to University of Ife in terms of beauty and aesthetics.

University of IFE is a masterpiece, and kudos to Okija_Juju for bringing us this crystal clear pictures!

But...

These pictures are just a preview. The Opa dam, civil engineering building, sports center, senior and junior staff quarters, interior of Oduduwa hall, museum, zoological gardens, conference center, and the massive agric farms are conspicuously missing. Pray someone take and upload these other pictures like Okija_juju did.

Just as two heads are better than one, so is Partnership better than Sole Proprietorship. BUT...

Never go into partnership under duress or as a result of pity.

Based on your report, this supposed friend of yours only wants to reap where he has not sown. And he doesn't even mind doing that by twisting your arms and putting you under duress.

He is not a true friend. SHUN HIM!

RomanceRe: Why Do Men Refuse To Eat During Misunderstanding With Women? by lordy(m): 2:53am On Dec 27, 2012
Nairalanders una no dey sleep sef? cheesy

Anyway, to the topic of discussion, it's a case of 'different strokes for different folks'.

In some marriages, the man is not really the head of the family undecided, such a man will do himself more harm than good if he refuses to eat because of disagreement with the wife.

But in a normal, healthy, african marriage, which I suppose is the yardstick here, a man (one that married his wife with his own resources, not the one that was forced on a woman or one that the woman married out of pity) may, once in a while, refuse to eat his wife's food when she has really erred (shi.t for shursh), and not just over petty disagrements.

This is a serious warning sign that should be taken seriously by all good wifeys and intending wifeys...(When it happened in my house, my wifey didn't eat till she managed to make me eat, but then, my wifey is a 'rare gem' kiss)

When a REAL MAN in a normal healthy marriage refuses his wife's food, the real wife (one whose bride price was fully paid and properly wedded) recognises the 'red flag' and knows it's time to 'pause' every other thing and quickly say 'I'm sorry' (even when she's not at fault, she can later iron out the details with him after proper settlementwink ).

If you really want a peaceful and happy home as a wife, you will be sending out wrong signals if you don't take your husband's refusal to eat your food serious (unless of course, you're tired of the marriage and you want out, or you're the real man of the housecry )

That's my humble opinion...
RomanceRe: What Is Wrong With Polygamy? ( Comments From Men Only Please). by lordy(m): 12:22am On Sep 16, 2012
lastpage: CIVILIZATION AND WESTERNIZATION is what is wrong with Polygamy!

Whether we like it or not, whether we accept reality or not, the NATURE OF MAN IS POLYGAMOUS!

"Territorial behavior" (a form of Polygamy!) is found in ALL MALE SPECIES!

From "basic" animals, to insects, to "higher" animals like humans.

Just go into the bush and watch a Lion or even a Male Chicken.....and you will learn from "little things".

Again, looking at "human anatomy", it was designed to encourage polygamy in men otherwise, they (men) should have been getting pregnant and their organ should have been a "receptacle" instead of the "external penetrator" that they have! (it was designed to be used "in multiple receptacles" without affecting its effectiveness, unlike that of women...no disrespect to women)

But Western society (and those who have Boko Haram grin ) has tried to demonize it by IMPOSING "laws and rules" which make it unworkable!.
The idea was to SIMPLIFY SUCCESSION AND INHERITANCE ISSUES they have at hand.

Such "rules" are indoctrinated into our heads in "Churches", "Schools", "society" and if we fail to "tow-the-line"....the rules are ENFORCED in the "western style" Law Courts!

Thus, most 'monogamist' are not by choice, but "out of fear" because such men have "no choice"
(even their wife will drive them out of the house in the western world, if they try it)

Of course Women dont like it (just like those chickens and other living things dont like sharing their partners!) and would do anything to demonize it.

That is understandable..................But it has NEVER WORKED!
shocked shocked

The "men" simply device new ways of "practicing it" ---by Cheating on their wife, "Aristo" style, multiple marry and divorce (serial monogamy), children outside marriage, complete secrecy which is only discovered during "his" burial grin , e.t.c

Even the men here proclaiming "monogamy" on moral or religious grounds, are "YET TO BE TESTED"!
Make the "situation right" (for some men, it's money, Power, personal (viz bigamy laws) and family security, e.t.c) for them and you will see the polygamy in them rear its head! grin

And by the way, all the "mentioned ills" of Polygamy are NOT UNIQUE to Polygamy!

For example, division, hatred, jealousy, wickedness, quarrels, fights are also experienced in the "work place" amongst colleagues viz-a-viz office politics!
They are just normal human relationship issues which can and do rear their heads where more than one human is present.------ a "relationship issue" as against a "polygamy issue"

Okay, this is not a favorite topic and l may have ruffled some feathers; Am sorry.

But think about it: 95% of all our laws are derived from "common law" which itself is derived from "Religious injunctions".

Yet "God" (in which ever form) NEVER PUNISHED POLYGAMOUS MEN!
? huh huh huh That l find most unusual!

In Christianity, He issued "an advisory" only but still "fellowshiped" with chronic polygamist like Solomon, Abraham, Jacob. e.t.c.
In Islam, it was expressly encouraged. Ditto other Easter religions.

Okay, no be my business, l have something else to do

Caveat:
This is not an encouragement to be Polygamous. Its just a "rational opinion" on a subject matter. State your own and dont insult me or others! wink

Lastpage!

My wife must not read this one sha, this weekend "show" go just cancel. walahi! shocked
IMHO, best response so far!

BusinessInformation Marketing Business Without Website, Internet by lordy(op): 6:46am On Jun 09, 2010
I want to seize this opportunity to disabuse the minds of many of us who still regard Infomarketing Business as an internet business. Referring to Infomarketing Business alone has made a lot of people who could've made so much money doing this business shy away from it, especially people who are not familiar with how the internet works, or who do not have website.

Nothing could be farther from the truth than classifying Information Marketing Business as an internet business. You can do Infomarketing Business solely offline, without internet connection or website and all those technical stuff associated with them.

In 5 steps, this is how to do sell Information products without owning a website and without internet connection:

1. Create the information product

2. Package the information product into CD, manual, PDF etc,

3. Place a classified advert in a a newspaper medium of your choice. Your info product should determine the particular newspaper you're going to settle to advertise in. You should settle for the newspaper that will enable you reach your target audience easily.

4. Your prospects read you advert and respond to your request by placing orders.

5. You mail their order to them by courier or by email if it is an ebook [PDF].

Note that apart from step 5 which may or may not require internet, all other steps were done offline. Now tell me, why would you refer to a business which may or may not be done online as an Internet business. This mix up seems to me like a gimmick by some smart practitioners to scare you away from enjoying what they are enjoying.

So friend, now that your eyes are opened. Go ahead and start Information Marketing Business now. This is the only business I know anybody with little or no educational background can start with little or no capital and churn out truckloads of profit in no time.

Will you stand aside and watch others stuff all the money into their bank account, or will you come out and take your own share of this juicy market?

The choice is yours!
