Mavor:I’m still speaking to my associate if I can get a clean title option though for a good deal though or salvage title with just bumper damage or minor scratches |
Mavor:Non- inflated is still very expensive for a clean title at 71/73m. Did a market survey with some dealers few minutes ago and the cheaper ones are just facelifted to look like the f sport I actually have one for sale at 15k actual miles but it is a registered unit and also grey. Car actually came in 8 month ago at clean title at 12k miles ( verifiable via carfax ) and the former owner just swapped it for a ‘25 model year. But it’s still a registered unit though |

Mavor:good morning sir, 55m for the 2022 would be very hard to come by for the tokunbo f sport, if there even is there would surely compromise something ( maybe a really bad accident history or incomplete duty paid) I’d advice maybe trying importing directly yourself from copper or IAA Second option would be just getting a very clean toks standard. |
Mavor:Is there any specific budget you have in mind |
erniok:Well, on some model years it was actually platinum would be most likely applicable to Toyotas trucks/ suvs like the highlander, sequoia, tundra and the likes |
edoncast:I’ll break it down and I’ll use the same 2014 Toyota Camry as a case study - first the Camry comes in majorly in three different trims ( le, se and Xle ) now think of trims like different gradings meant for a diverse market ( young/old drivers, sport oriented drivers, those focused on luxury/comfort and the minimalistic market) - so basically all car manufacturers can build a a certain model based on what the buyer needs. If you get an 2014 Toyota Camry Le, you’re definitely someone who needs a car just for daily movement without minding luxury, sportiness or comfort you’re basically just after functionality. Basically it’s the base model without any extra cool stuff - SE TRIM LEVEL- you’re definitely performance oriented and this cars tend to look more sporty and faster XLE Trim level - you’re definitely after comfort, options, cool techs and things the entry level model of that same car won’t have Now this le, xle and se applies to only Toyota and can be called another name in other car brands if you still don’t understand or need more guidance you can always reach out to me I’d do much better explaining |
Mavor:You’re welcome sir, yeah the f sport can be very pricy but If you can just settle for the normal rx350 or getting a used unit that would be properly inspected before purchase. |
Mavor:Below I’ve included two pictures of how the steering rack for both the Rx350 f sport and the Xse Highlander looks like. The first picture rightly belongs to the highlander and you can see the. Motor directly mounted on it. Now I’m not saying the highlander isn’t a great buy, it is actually, but since you mentioned flooding when compared to the Rx350, you’re better off with the Rx350, thank you
|
Mavor:I can’t access this link for some reasons I do not know |
Mavor:Nooo, I’m actually telling you that the Rx is the way to go that highlander has the motor on the rack and is most likely going to have issue when passing through flooded areas over a long period. |

Mavor:Not at all sir, the motor is mounted directly on the rack so staying in deep waters can pose as a risk to the system and trust me when I say it can be very expensive to get a replacement part ( rack )
|
kingreign:Very correct sir my bad with that error |
Mavor:The rx350 would be able to handle all this fairly Even with the electronic power steering because the EPS motor is not directly mounted on the steering rack, so that won’t be a major failing point, but still I’ll advise that the car should not be driven for extended period of time in flooded areas because the shock absorbers for the F sport uses adaptive dampening sensors on them and if it’s gets corroded via water ingress you might have to get a replacement shock absorbers. But over all still a great option though. How much are we looking at though just maybe I might be able to get one for you
|
Mavor:Both Options will hold up value very well over time for sure, if you’re very much bothered about cargo storage or more seating options the xse highlander would be your best best , Whichever one you choose though both options would serve you well and won’t be an issue along the way |
Mavor:You’re actually very correct, the 2019 450 electricals are very complex and the suspension ( E- ABC ) is very complex. While there are techs who can handle the repair, they are quite few so I’d advise to settle for either the rx350/ highlander orrrr if you do not mind settling for the 2017 gle350 talking from personal experience working on them they are very reliable suvs |
Undisputed01:Give a call sir |
Mavor:Those 4plugs turbo engine on this cars aren’t the best get a gle450 4matic instead with the v6 engine |
