Someone dropped a post about an issue he has and a technician gave his own opinion on the issue, but now you're calling that opinion rubbish, it's not fair really.
If you even study the nature of the fault the technicians opinion is very much correct or the next line of action judging it's isolated to a particular bank of the engine, but to you na rubbish

He should have at least dropped the fault code for you sir, but I suspect a catalyst efficiency below threshold fault code, basically telling you that your catalyst isn’t properly functioning. Probable cause would include bad downstream 02 sensors, exhaust leak before the catalyst ( which is what I think might be your issue ), or no catalyst present In the vehicle

I decided to scan because the engine was stalling , idled down to zero and went off while on park in traffic , rough idling

Pls help is needed

Physical inspection needed, I suspect a lean condition issue, since one of the codes point to the downstream 02 sensor pegged lean, another probable cause would be related to the variable valve timing system actuator the screen might be dirty or the actuator failed, I’ve seen an instance where that caused a misfire

Hello Everyone, good afternoon. Please I have a reoccurring vibration issues with my 07 Lexus GS350. This car vibrates when switching from gear 1 to gear 2, and also vibrates when I make a turn.

I have replaced axle and front propeller shaft, and also replaced a damaged sump cover that supports the front axle auxilliary (differential carrier), yet the car still vibrates.

Can someone please recommend a good auto-mechanic I could use to resolve this vibration issue? I'd sincerely appreciate.

I'm about to join the "car owner" association for the first time and I'm seriously considering a Honda Accord 2007 DC (4-cylinder).

Reliability- it has a very reliable powertrain Infact I prefer the k24a engine in the Honda to the 2az in the Camry one thing I would say is make sure you inspect both engine and gear ( especially the gearbox) when you get it
Fuel Economy - honestly not bad for a sedan it’s size, if you’ll be considering bolt or uber runs, then you’re better if with the civic with a smaller displacement engine
- maintenance; no brainer here, parts to me are cheaper relative to the Camry of the same model year

Why did you say especially the Avalon?

while it is a very reliable sedan, some parts can be very pricy and this same part are c what would probably not be present after import ( most would be imported as a salvage unit ) and some unit can be compromised because of that…
But honestly this actually applies to all vehicle in Nigeria, just make sure due diligence is done

Pls I recently imported a 2017 corolla with door airbag damage, is it fixable, I want to restore the air bag and have the light off on the dashboard

It is fixable , airbags crash sensors would be replaced, live airbags would be restored, airbag module would be programmed also

Good morning

Please 🙏 I just got a naija use 2016 honda accord v4, unknowingly, I ignorantly turned the steering to set the Tyre without starting the car.....gbam the wheel locked, ignition did not work again, we have tried everything to start the car to no avail, we have shaken and turned the steering while starting the car for days with no result.

In fact the key has breaken from the keyholder/remote while on this process, though we can still manage to use the broken key.

I was advised to sought after people that are knowledgeable about Honda Accord not to turned minor issue to bigger issues

Kindly assist with a way out.
