Something isn’t right for sure, hashed you tried taking out the nozzles, then probably have shops with all this ultrasonic fuel injector cleaner to analyze the spraying pattern to rule out leaky injectors

I will do a video but from what have seen, the stft at operating temperature hover around -3 to -14 and sometimes as high as - 24.have seen minus - 48 before. But quickly return back. I also expect my fuel trim to be lower at optimum but nothing has changed.
If I start up in the morning, my ltft will initially rise to as high - 21 and later settle at - 17 or - 18, no matter the distance covered.

The rate at which my stft jump at times is so aggressive. Something very serious is happening somewhere that sensors replacement can't correct

On idle what is the gm/sec of the Maf sensor
Also what voltage does the upstream 02 sensor give also

Please, I really need help before I give up on this car.
I have a 2006/2007 Honda Civic and the fuel consumption is extremely bad , it’s behaving like a V8 engine. This is far beyond normal, and I don’t believe simple sensor errors alone should cause this level of consumption.

Here’s my situation:
• I’ve replaced parts that were throwing codes (02 sensors, MAF sensors, Purge valve, Egr Valve, ect2 sensors, no hose leak anywhere, air filter changedl, plugs changed,thermostat)
• Fixed the cooling fan (now working at factory settings)
• Reset ECU multiple times
• At every refill, I reset my trip meter
Real example:
• 16 liters → only 40 miles (~64 km) . That's around 10 MPG
This is draining me financially.
I’ve spent close to ₦800,000 on diagnostics, repairs, and parts — moving from one mechanic/rewire to another with no real solution. Even tried a well-recommended workshop in Oyingbo — still trial and error.
Another example:
• ₦20,000 fuel finished just from Abule Egba → Airport → back
This is not sustainable.

Current observations:
• Spark plugs are brown (no oil, no black soot)
• Engine runs relatively smooth , with a little vibration(I just realized my mount is bad and that could be he reason for the vibration)
• LTFT around -21%
• No major current fault codes
• Mechanics here don’t seem familiar with proper fuel pressure testing , so I haven’t done that
I’m honestly exhausted and frustrated. I don’t have access to highly experienced professionals, and I keep wasting money without solving the problem.
Please:
What could cause this level of fuel consumption on a 1.8L engine?
What should I check next that others might be missing?
Any serious, experience-based advice would be greatly appreciated. I honestly don’t know what to do. Pple just dey refer me to their pple on man know man. At the end na rubbish

I will appreciate someone on the mainland, I have met with pple with advanced scanners. some only have tools, they cant solve problem

From your initial post you said you feel the vibrations to while braking sometimes

Could that be the issue? Because he said it might be the cause but I doubt since the bent is just very little and it's at the back
wheel

That is also possible too even slight deformation with any suspension component can cause issues like this, if you have a spare tire they can put on for the mean time to test if it the wheel

Drive shaft should be checked
Check brake disc all round too for warped brake disc ( it’ll be uneven )
My guess would be the drive shaft though

My guess is that your car is misfiring right ?
Well from your scan report about three of your coils are not working fine, to properly diagnose it the three coils complained should be swapped individually with the one still good to check to see if the fault goes to the other cylinder ( for a 4 plugs engine )
If it’s a v6 then you’d swap with the corresponding 3 cylinder on the other back to see if the fault goes to that cylinder

On ML350 2013
The car would rev when engaged the gear to drive but car won’t move.

The first time it happened the mechanic came and discharge some transmission oil and it pick.

Yesterday it happened when I drove to church after service I engaged the gear to drive and car would rev up but won’t move, I had to turn it off and on then engage and lucky for me it now moved.

Please what’ could be the problem and solution.
Expecting solutions. Am in abuja.

A lot of things could cause this
- BURNT TRANNY FLUID
- one or more speed sensors on your VGS module within the gearbox is failing
- ISM ISSUES too
- and maybe a failing transmission

I’ll start with the 4matic ( All wheel Drive )
- this would be more expensive to get but you really can’t tell because most of the ones available in the market are the 4matic variant
- better fuel economy goes to the non-4matic variant, but really very subtle difference and this is due to the additional mechanical drag and a little more heavier than the Rwd
- maintenance
The rwd would be much easier to maintain only because it has some part eliminated such as the transfer case, drive shaft and the likes and also you’d have to be obviously changing differential fluids which would result to you spending a bit more since you have an extra axle.
Which vehicle should you go for ?
Honestly the 4matic, why ? Well because the market is filled with more 4 matic part and you might need some part in the future which might be a little hard to find if you go with the non 4matic, except you’re really good with ordering part online.
