When did Nigerian Army procure Armed drone it would have been in the news just light fighter helicopter and jet was all over the news. Apart from America I haven’t seen any country use drone in combat. And few countries operates Armed drones.

To the Nigerian Army what is the name of the Drone, it specifications where was it produced and when was it procured.

And yes, I still maintain what I said that they're paramilitary just like Mopol, counter terrorism and the others because they perform military duties as well while not being under the armed forces and no, the police is not a part of the armed forces, only those under the armed forces act are armed forces and they're Army, Navy and air force, the Police is under the Police Act.

They are not higher than police in terms of training and duty there is regular police as there is regular NSCDC officer( non commissioned) officers. But the police is the primary body in maintaining law and order in a nation so their scope encompasses all affairs including security, threat both external and internal , crime, disaster, etc.
The army was the first security outfit know to man but as time and civilization progressed specialized outfit add to be developed since man conquered the sea he created the navy unit and when they conquered the air quite recently they bore out an Air Force unit. But in the days of old when the ordering began along civilization, rule of law and order for a specific nation or colony an outfit had to be created to maintain the laws of the land, peace and rule of law then came the police. most of the services and corps are born out of the police function, NSCDC, Fire Service, FRSC, EFCC, NDLEA in essence they are a subset of the police charge with a specific mandate where as the para military is a subset function of the military such as the Customs and Immigration. That’s why they are more concerned with Goods or people coming into the country basically external threats.
Lastly the police is not under an Act it is a creation of the constitution and it is called the police force even it’s called NPF there official website is Npf.gov.no. The Act is only police reforms law carried out by the National Assembly which the NSCDC is a creation of an Act. Please have your facts before you argue with me

Are you aware that they get assigned samee duty as the army in the Niger Delta area because of their mandate?

Their mandate includes protection off National infrastructure of which crude oil pipeline is among, these guys follow army dey fight militants o.

If there are areas in the north where there duty mandates, they'll be drafted to fight Boko Haram, they're a para military organization, higher than your regular Police, the only arm of police that can match them is the Mopol and some special units, dey pass your regular Police.
