The north should be discouraged from exploring oil. If they go all out into oil , who will go to the farms. The east cant farm, the west farms but not as hard and as dedicated as the north does.

The bulk of food we eat in this country, comes from the north. Our proteins supply is completely supplied by the northern part of Nigeria.

We are going to get very hungry if the north finds oil. I know they will share but most of their children will prefer a monthly stipend than go to the farms. Especially, if the government does not put a strong fist over the oil and break the monopoly the northern governors are trying to wield over oil production in Nigeria.
