Lol. I'm sure Innoson has technology for aircraft but will not disclose that with Nigerian government. Neither. Ojukwu was a hero of those who believe in self determination and free choice. I have personally been in the presence of Ojukwu where he said that Nigeria cannot work as a nation and that is why he tried to get his people out of it. Nigeria still does not work as a nation to this day. Who can blame Ojukwu for trying to free his people and other minorities in Southern Nigeria from the Northern Nigerian oligarchy?

I think that Ojukwu only went into politics to give his people political direction. I dont think he ever had any realistic expectation to win. He knew that the Northerners and Yorubas would never vote for him for fear of Biafra.

Igbos usually dont respect politicians, they respect freedom fighters. It is Ojukwu the freedom fighter Igbos love, not Ojukwu the APGA presidential candidate.


Ojukwu was a true leader, a freedom fighter, a warlord, a pragmatist. The only one who stood up to the North when all others bowed out of cowardice.
Without a doubt, he was the greatest Igbo man who ever lived.

I do not support this. I am of the opinion that Lagos should be giving special status and Lagos should lose about 30% of its internally generated revenue to Federation since this IGRvis accrue to it by its special status as former nation capital and also because of FG disposition to it ahead of other competing states with similar potential sources of IGR.

This is same northern Nigeria where they rioted over Nigeria's hosting of Miss World competition.

I am betting 4 : 1 that there will be riots across the north protesting the emergence of Trump as the next POTUS

The proper economic tool to use is a float of the currency and it must be as clean as possible. That means that the exchange rate must be determined by market forces with little intervention from the government.

The CBN float does not make the cut. It's extremely dirty with the government fixing the rate at below 310. It had earlier dropped to 360 in June but the government intervened and made it less than 310. The huge disparity between the official and black market is the biggest signal that the float has been corrupted.

Buhari's mishandling of the forex market is the primary reason why the economy plunged into a recession. I have written off the economy due to his lamentable understanding of economics and his refusal to allow technocrats do their job.
