Oluwabash: General Tarfa’s Testimony Does Not Contradict Buhari’s Statement - Barr. Abdullahi Aliyu
A senior lawyer and journalist, Barrister Aliyu Abdullahi has stated that General Tarfa’s testimony at the Presidential Election Tribunal did not contradict statements credited to President Buhari on his certificates being with the Nigerian Army.
General Paul Cardy Tarfa, during his testimony at the Presidential Election Tribunal was asked if when he was enlisted into the Nigerian Army, he and his colleague President Muhammadu Buhari were asked to hand over their certificates to the Nigerian Army, which he responded “there was no such thing.”
Barrister Aliyu Abdullahi in an explanatory statement made available to journalists highlighted that there was nothing new or contradictory by the testimony of General Paul Tarfa, as President Buhari never said that he submitted his certificate to the Nigerian Army.
“What the President always maintained was that when a coup was conducted against him, they [the Army] carted away everything from his house, including his personal documents, so it is the Army’s burden to produce it.”
The senior lawyer went further to state that he was surprised that this was being made an issue as it didn’t bring any new facts to the table.
“I am surprised this is even an issue. Has it contradicted anything? None! The President never said he submitted his certificate, so there is no contradiction. Nothing like that ever happened.”
A senior public servant who is abreast of the facts of the matter and pleaded to remain anonymous, explained that what happened then was that certificates were submitted by the schools to the Nigerian Army and students did not submit it themselves.
“The procedure then was for the school to send all communication to the then Royal Nigerian Army. So in General Buhari’s case, what happened was that the Principal of the Provincial Secondary School, Katsina sent his documents, including his certificates, as soon as they were ready, and a letter certifying that he was suitable to the Royal Nigerian Army. It is not as we have now.”
###################################### “What the President always maintained was that when a coup was conducted against him, they [the Army] carted away everything from his house, including his personal documents, so it is the Army’s burden to produce it.” The Presido didn't have any waec certificate even before the so called coup which was conducted again him. And today(doesn't) till kingdom cometh(will not) have one. Oga SAN stop distracting us. |

Predstan: Statistically right? The same statistic said Nigeria and China were on the same level of development 10 years ago. We both had Vision 2020 but one has become reality while the other has deteriorated that the vision 2020 has been extended by another 20years.
Back to your statistic, you are only concerned about Money and not other aspect of the statistics. You make less money in the UK if you work as a Robotic engineer than you will make in the US and that does not make UK less of a country. People who make less money in Rwanda still have access to light, water and good roads. Driving from Rwanda to Uganda with no maps on the road is a glory But you and I, while making more money will have to pay our own security, pay bribes to get things done even to the international passport, buy gas to fuel our gen and pay exorbitant fees to High schools for the education of our children.
Rwanda was the host of African Tech Summit and their discussions was basically how to transform Africa through Rwanda to Technology hub. After that summit, they launched the satellite that provide free internet access for High schools and Primary schools. They plan to improve and transform their flying drones to flying vehicles for transportation. They launched the first Smartphone factory in Africa.
The bilateral agreement for African countries was also signed in Rwanda. I still dont understand the role of the Giant of Africa if they had to go to Rwanda to sign that agreement. Was it because of security? I love your brain die. You're a true bone of your father. You're words on your kind. Very proud of you dear. Love and bunch of kisses. |

You can call him a wailer or whatsoever you like, but the issues Reno raised here are real and very true. WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM REALITY? Use google to investigate some of his facts before you crucify him. As a reasonable person, even if buhari is my father, I will still point out any wrong move he made in his government. Nigeria belongs to all of us, not only to APC and buhari's supporters. Truth must be told and you nailed it right. |

Buhari himself is a recipe for anarchy.
Nothing new will come out from the next four years, except more death, hopelessness, unrest, strife etc.
A government can change ministers in order to appear new, but change cannot take place in the true sense of the word as long as the ADVISERS remain the same.
We may not like the IMN or Shiites for personal reasons, but this is law. A government cannot disobey a court order which is law by other means, then turn around to apply that law to same people that they have cheated.
Evil/injustice in Nigeria is always supported by a section of the countr, but one thing is certain, evil or injustice will always find those that refuse to speak up or condemn it when they have the means to do so.
Maybe we are not watching, PROTEST is now a terrorist offense in Nigeria as it is currently being suggested by the Nigerian government. Those that their voices deserve to be heard, those that continue to suffer injustice in the hands of those elected to protect them will one day rise in unison.
Our Judiciary, is it even a Judiciary? It is more or less a night club where the finest strippers always get what they want....
If not, why would a Judge grant the prayers of a government that has refused to obey the order of another Judge.
It was suppose to be simple, go and obey court order before you can have this one.
Shiites may not be who we want them to be, but this is law, this is a democracy where every interest, every life, opinions and by extension, every rights count.
A government cannot tell the people how to behave in a Democracy, it is only the LAW that can do that...

Xisnin: Using violence for political aim is the modus operandi of terrorists. We have not forgotten how Ipob terrorizes people minding their business. Violence isn't just about guns and bombs. If I force you to close your shop on a certain day with threats, that is violence. We have not forgotten the terror that Ipob put the people through hell at the height of their shenanigans, while their online arm continues to deny it. They put so many motorists through hell, even beating up some.
As for the IMN folks, they have always been a menace whenever they engage in any of their procession. They cause fear and panic for commuters who are unfortunate to be caught up in their "peaceful" protest. The height of it was the killing of a journalist and a police DCP. We know you A=Alien of P=Poverty C=Capital ... Vaurien |

paulchineduN: If u are not living ur life in resentfulness, then what do we make of this statement u made? For ur information, there wasn't Nigeria, there is no Nigeria and there will no be Nigeria. If u say there is Nigeria, it means it exists with nothing denoting it's a nation. U can choose to be so pretentious about it but u know in ur inner mind that Nigeria is a huge joke to be called a nation. Let the tyrant continue with his repressive approach to governance. Tagging every group that differs from his religious intolerance, coupled with ur slave and unrepentant support, he will be much emboldened. I can assure u that not too long from now, this emboldening of his must cause an outcome and that outcome is nothing but parting of ways from this contraption called Nigeria. You said it all.
