PoliticsRe: Channels Tv Places Peter Obi Over Tinubu And Atiku - Photos by Lovelive: 6:25pm On Jul 17, 2023
Console your ego-self !

JAMO84:
Obi and Atiku's petitions are the most useless election petition in the history of mankind.

To prove forgery, you have to get the school to deny his certificate, the school affirmed his certificate.

To prove he's a drug convict, you have to get the Americans to confirm his conviction, the Americans said he had no case with them.

To prove rigging, you have to show the court your total scores were more than his, nothing was shown to the court.

To prove 25% in Abuja is mandatory, you have to point to where it was stated in the Constitution that if you don't score 25% in Abuja, you cannot be President.

THE COURT WILL THROW OUT THE CASE AND FINE ATIKU AND HIS JUNIOR BROTHER, PETER OBI 6 BILLION NAIRA

You and who ... ?

Count me off/out.

MadamExcellency:
I will vote for Tinubu but I am afraid Atiku will win if Obi is out of the equation.

If it becomes clearer to Tinubu that there will be a rerun. He should set Nnamdi Kanu free and devolve the police.

The South is one. We marry ourselves and our IQ is higher than average compare to other ethnicities across the world.

If Peter Obi is excluded from the rerun, let's vote Tinubu for president.

PoliticsRe: “Tinubu’s Nomination Is Invalid.” APM Tells Tribunal As It Closes Its Case. by Lovelive:
Wahala Wahala Wahala !

We told them " Tinubu Amina Ahmed Adekunle is going no where ".

Tinubu starts saying bye bye to Aso Rock.

Penguin2:
In trying to run away from DOUBLE NOMINATION, the APC ran into INVALID NOMINATION.

After the Supreme Court ruled on PDP’s case on Shettima’s Double Nomination suit, most Nigerians wrote off the APM Petition at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal as being a waste of court’s time but emerging facts about the details of their petition has shown that their petition might be the dark horse that might bite Tinubu and the APC the deepest.

First, a combined reading of the Constitution and the Electoral Act shows that any party whose candidates resigns after the closure of nomination process has the total of 14 days to replace such candidate.

Now, both INEC and APC and Tinubu accepted in court that Ibrahim Masari who was APC Vice Presidential placeholder candidate tendered his resignation on 24th June, 2022.

Again, all parties agree that Kashim Shettima became the new Vice Presidential candidate on 14th July, 2022 (because they were running from double nomination so they denied it was on 6th July).

Now, between 24 June, 2022 - 14 July, 2022 is a total period of 21 days. That’s a whopping 7 days beyond the constitutionally provided window of 14 days.

Now, APM is arguing that as of the time that Kashim Shettima was nominated as Vice Presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu had ceased to be a valid presidential candidate having stayed 7 days without a Vice Presidential candidate which invalidated his candidacy.

Story !

And its narrator

garfield1:
Tinubu was expected to fail woefully in se SS but while he failed in se,he did well in ss getting 25% in 4 out of the 6.
Obi failed to get up to 20,000 in sokoto even though the sultan was his friend, failed in kebbi- where they are many christians in zuru emirate and parts of yauri, failed in katsina, jigawa, zamfara.he failed to get up to 50,000 in Kano where he should have gotten over 100k.he tried in kaduna by winning xtian dominated southern kaduna but failed to get 25%.he failed woefully in borno, yobe, bauchi.he was expected to get 25% in adamawa and gombe but failed.he tried in taraba though should have won.
Even in NC,he failed to get 20% in kwara, niger and even kogi that has many christians.he actually tried in niger by getting close to 100k.i wonder why he did so poorly in core north.even gej in 2015 got up to 100k in zamfara, kebbi, sokoto, jigawa, katsina,Kano and got 30% in kaduna.he got close to 100k in Bauchi, gombe, won taraba and got 40% in adamawa.why did obi fail?

As candidates that came 2nd and 3rd, we Nigerians actually expected Mr Atiku and Mr Obi to present concrete proofs in tribunal that they won by providing valid vote counts in all states they claim they won.

We were highly disappointed that after shouting "Reclaim my Mandate", both candidates (especially with mr. Obi) instead of presenting proofs of votes they had in states claimed e.g Rivers, Benue & co, they resorted to presenting Frivolities at the PEPT

Bringing Frivolous Matters like Certificate, supposed "Drug" case, Citizenship, Shettima double nomination, and the worst of all Abuja 25% requirements are most unfortunate and shows they're not serious at all!

A serious candidate will present facts that he won elections with actual votes won, not resorting to Frivolities. The tribunal will just throw out their cases!

As for FCT, The constitution stated winner must have 25% in at least 24states & the FCT

My point is that FCT is considered as 37th state in
election not a special state as people have been propagating

Let's stop deliberately misinforming people!

PoliticsRe: PEPT: Why Did Wole Olanipekun Ignore Osun Ruling To Quote Shagari Ruling Of 1979 by Lovelive: 1:39pm On Jul 16, 2023
Thank God/Fortunately the judges, each of them has his brain/mind/heart/conscience to lead him or them to serve the right judgement at this critical time of a sinking country called Nigeria.

Penguin2:
Reading through the written address of Tinubu and Shettima lawyers at the ongoing election petition tribunal led by supposed respected senior lawyer Wole Olanipekun, one can’t help but giggle at the hollowness and shallowness of their defense.

In the address, Mr Olanipekun was busy citing the case of Shagari vs Awolowo that happened as far back as 1979 under the 1979 Constitution and in election conducted by FEDECO, as our electoral commission was called then.

Since 1979, we’ve have had many reformations to our electoral laws and have even changed our constitution.

If anything, the most relevant case as far as election cases are concerned in Nigeria today, is the Supreme Court ruling in Osun in case of Oyetola vs Adeleke. This case is the most relevant because it is the only Supreme Court decision since the Electoral Act 2022 came into force.

Ironically, Mr Olanipekun surreptitiously ignored the Osun case which has a lot of similarities with the case at PEPT as they both bother on the place of technology in our election and to what degree INEC can choose to apply or ignore technology in our elections.

It is pertinent to state these things for the world to hear, read and see, so that we all keep an eye on the judiciary and see what comes out it.

Remember that it is not enough to do justice, justice must also be seen to have been done.

I agree

iSense247:
This is the only man who can win elections in Nigeria without intimidation, violence and rigging. It Tinubu tries it, he will come a distant fourth. Someone who loses his adopted state (Lagos), home state (Osun) and FCT Abuja even in a ruling party. Imagine if Tinubu was contesting through a mushroom party like AAC or ADC.

The only politician in Nigeria who is capable of winning a free and fair election is H.E Peter Groggery Obi. He is the African most popular politician.

jmoore:
I have always been against Nnamdi Kanu since he started his movement and my opposition won't change.

This is the second time he has been arrested. If he is freed, will he repent? Or start another dangerous season? Has he learned any lessons?

I believe that the government aided his escape as they made us to believe. They let him out of the country after the first arrest, thinking he may repent from violence. But he didn't change.

In a country where some militants, terrorists have been given ammesty, it is not shocking that some want Nnamdi Kanu to be released.
