@Redsky
If u read thru the thread u will see that pratically everyone is seeking medical advice.Somebody even said her doc is a leading doc in infertility.Pls dont just make a comment wihout reading thru wat has been posted.

Arlington,Thank God for the testimony. All thins are possible to him that believes, including u.

Stages, dont worry urself, remenber,He that stated the good work is willing and able to complete it.As for those complaints(no food, perfume and all that)they are nothing and will clear as the pregnancy advances.

To all,kip ur hope and faith alive. Our God is able.

Happy 2010.

Family / How Much Food Is Too Much For A Baby by lovelynk(f): 7:26pm On Jan 02, 2010
Hello all,
Most times wen i see moms thay say they want their baby to eat and eat and eat cos they r growing.
My question is,is this right, esp with the growing statistcs on child obesity.I have even heard peadeatricians talk abt over feeding a baby.
so pls moms, how much food is enough/too much for a baby under 1.
Fashion / Re: Would You Buy Clothes Made In Nigeria? by lovelynk(f): 2:14am On Dec 31, 2009
My borthers are designers based in Aba and i can assure u that a greater percentage of the alreadfy made clothes u buy are the products of Aba designers.they have customers that come from all parts country:Lagos, ibadan, kano, kaduna, abuja, portharcourt, jos, just name it.
I have had the priviledge of assiting in the finishing section and i tel u by the time we iron and package them in all those foreign packagin materials u wont be a ble to tell wc is foreign and wc is local.(we also have local packeting)

As a matter of fact,i dont buy any ready made clothes,i just buy the material and take it to those designers and they make it for me(tailored to my size and choice) and it was always very good.I remember during my school days some of friends travel all the way to aba to make their clothes based on my recommendation and they were ever satisfied.Besides it cost them much less.

Al those who say they wont, u are probably buying and wearing them without knowing it.

@Stages,
a big congrats on your good news.Am so happy for u

All,
been following this thread for a while.have been wondering if its alright for me to join.
Am not trying to conceive a child but my sister is.

she was pregnatn sometime in 2001 but ,
In 2004,she took in again but unknown to them it was an ectopic pregnancy.by the time they found out the foetus was alredaty dead.she had a surgery to totally remove that.Since that time they have been trying and so far no conception talk of miscarriage.
sometime ago,the doctors told her she has a cornean blockage of the fallopian tube.wat does that mean?
Anoda doctor told her she needs to have her system flushed. she was scared to do that.

Was wondering if i can get some good info for her from this thread.

[quote author=Arlington link=topic=318334 blessed are the women who just get pregnant without anyworry for they do not know what God has done for them. i don't wish this constant state of anxiety on my enemy sef.,Anyway ahead ahead.

arlington, each time i read this comment am so touched.
when i was pregnant i used to feel that God betrayed me.My hubby and i were just relocating and we wanted to give ourselvf one year to settle in our new locatiion b4 the baby starts coming. However, few months to our move i found out i was pregnant.I was almost devastated.I found my self wishing for a miscarriage and even praying for it.

Today, i know better and i actaully appreciate wat God has done for me.I also know that he will visit all of u soon

charmingby:

I was in a similar place as you about two years ago. My husband had been cheating on me for five years and his brother had been flirting with me for just about that long and I shot him down for those five years. Finally, I got sick of my husband cheating and only me working on it so I cheated with my husband's brother. Then I divorced my husband when I found out he was showing pornographic pictures to my daughter and am now with the brother and we just had a baby together. I am perfectly happy now. The man I am with has not cheated on me to my knowledge and we have a beautiful son togther. Sometimes you have to follow your heart and see where life takes you and hopefully things turn out right. Do what will make you happen and feel free. Don't let anyone kill your spirit. wink

Na wao, so wat did ur inlaws say to u happening guys?I hope they welcomed u wholeheartedly into the family,
A big 'congrats" to the happening guys and kip happening, wt your broda inlaw.

Am afraid am going to say No. I love them though.

Why? u said u love dem,so why wont u?

Busy_body:

You can't choose your fate or destiny, and not everyone is born disabled at birth, and no one knows what is around the corner, one could step out of the house and get knocked over by a car and lose a body part, so is this kinda tantamount to saying disabled people should go and commit suicide undecided Just asking lipsrsealed

my question is for a guy/lady that is already in that condition b4 the meeting and not somone who was hale and healthy and suddenly for one reason or the other became handicapped.
Family / Can U Marry A Disabled Guy/lady by lovelynk(f): 6:14am On Nov 21, 2009
sometime ago, a friend of my Mum invited us to her son's wedding. It happenedĀ  that the son was blind and the wife:she was a very beautiful lady with good education and a good job.

Also, there was this lady that was invited to give a special song ministration in our church way back.she was in a wheel chair and she sang so beautifully.Suprisingly, the gentleman that pushed the wheel chair was her husband and the two teenagers that played the instruments were their kids.

Recently,my friend towed the same path.he married a lady with a physical disability.they dated for 4 years b4 the marriage.Somhow, his parents loved the girl and he actually told me that wn he told his parents he has seen his wife his dad said if it is not that girl that comes here count me out.It happend to be the girl so there were no objections.I spoke wt him and he said he loved her and will make up for wateva defects

This got me thinking
How many of us can do that and how do u stand up to oppostion from friends, families etc ?

he sounds like he has colic (Colic is inconsolable crying in a healthy newborn baby with bouts of fussiness and irritability, it has no known cause but is harmless, although it can be very distressing for parents or carers)

She had that as a mewborn.Didnt know wat was up and worried myself so much.
thanks for the ifno, would have saved me so much of the worry if i found out earlier

Have you tried introducing her to other people/babies?

I have a lady that brings her baby over to my place to care for while i take mine over to too.I also take her to the childrens church(babies) on sundays.
Is that okay or do i need to introduce her to more babies
