Fhemmmy:

I love that.
Keep it up, your daughter will surely be proud of u

Thanks a lot.
My pastor taught me to speak good concerning my kids.he told a story of his own daughter   who couldnt write in sch and the teacher will always tell her she is writing nonsense. However, daddy always told her she is doing well, she is trying and all that and wn teacher tells her she is writing nonsense  she tells her daddy knows it is not nonsense. This helped her develop confidence and soon she picked up.Today she is doing fine.
I learnt that lesson and am doing same wt my daughter

Meanwhile, baby is doing aiight now.took her to the doc yesterday and seems she is teething.I got her some teething rings and she is chewing and biting them happily.

Fhemmmy:

I could babysit the girl and i am sure she will be fine. . . . magical fingers that carries baby is all that is needed.

Abeg ooooooo.I really need that magic hand.Wn are coming to do that?

Thanks for the concern

Some Children are on earth to suffer their mothers. grin
I had a crying baby and I know what it feels like
I contemplated running away from home leaving her with her father
The neighbors even called the cops on us to check out what we were doing to the child
lay your hands and cast out that crying spirit from that child grin

Nope,my girl is not here to suffer me.she has come to bless me and to give me joy.neither does she have a crying spirit.
Family / Re: How Do U Deal With A Baby That Cries A Lot? by lovelynk(f): 2:32am On Nov 16, 2009
The mistake that women make is carrying and holding their baby too much right after birth. THEY GET USE TO IT!!!!!
I know you wanna carry and stare at them, but let them get used to being on their own too. ONCE THEY GET USE TO THEIR MOTHER'S TOUCH, THEY CRY WHEN THEY DONT FEEL HER TOUCH ANYMORE.

must confess i am guilty of this.my girl was so adorable and i couldnt quite stop looking at her.I spent a lot of my spare time gazing at her and admiring her.I guess that where it all started.Besides, she was exclusively breastfed for alomst 5 months. That means plenty of carrying.Anyway,i hope its not late to make amends in that regards.

Like i said b4,will take her to doc just to make sure there is no problems.i just want to be on the safe side.
Thanks all

Thanks so much for all ur advice.I hv bin following them and she is doing better.
Havent cried much today.Meanwhile,i will be taking her to the peadiatrician tomorrow just to make sure nothing is wrong.Once i have done dat i will just try and let her cry a while b4 picking her up outstrip suggested.the reason i havnt done that yet is cos am afraid maybe somthing might be wrong wc i might not know in wc case it will be unfair to let her cry on.

i appreciate ur contributions.

u mean all that is not possible without being married to him
no they are possible, but the fact is that if u hook up with wrong person these things might end up not being possible.there are so many ladies and men out who had great dreams and potentials but all these became stories simply because thay got married.
for i was not just thinking of companionship and all that but i was also thinking of being able to achieve my lifes ambition and i had to marry the kind of person with whom i will have all that and still be the dream i have
Family / Re: Why Do We Marry? by lovelynk(f): 5:53am On Nov 15, 2009

I found in him a true friend,a companion who shares my dreams and aspiration.
He believes in me,believes my dreams and i knew with him i will be that wc i have desired to be

Yeah, she has always been acryer from the beginning.I tot then she will gorw out of but it is just getting worse by the day.
I ve got loads of toys but none seems to interest her.I guess mommy and daddy are her favorite toys.no matter how colourful and intresting the toys seem to be,she is always looking out for mum and dada and if none carries her the cries start.
I guess it is just a case of some babies being more fussy than others and i want to know if there is any approach in dealing wt such babies,

some folks have advised me to let her cry on wn she starts cos she will soon get to understand that no body will pick her up and stop it. is that right?

busybody20:

Babies communicate by crying if they are hungry, cold, thirsty, bored, looking for a cuddle, Colic, teething, or for no reason whatsoever.

As a new parent it could be difficult trying to understand what your baby needs, i will suggest you feed or change her pampers or give a little cuddle to show her some love grin . (avoid cuddling her too much, because she will get used it!) .

Try playing music or put the tv on for her to watch. Thats what i do for mine and it works.

Dont stress yourself too much.

Thanks busy body.Am trying all these.Though i must say it is neva a cae of hunger or any of those things.the fact is i make sure she is full and u'd neva catch her with a wet or soiled diaper except i was not aware.I guess where i am missing it is that perhaps we started off cuddling her so much and now she is so used to it.The is that with television, toys and all that she is always looking at me and reaching so i carry her and failure to do so sparks off the cries.
I have tot of the pacifier but i hate it,in fact i detest it.

Maybe the baby has Colic?

wats colic?

ahh Fhemmy,u no be mom naw or are u?

Anyway,i dont think the problem is hunger.I feed her well.I make sure she is full at all times so it cant be hunger.Sometimes the cries start immediately after a feeding.how can it be hunger then.
I guess she just wants to be lapped all the time wc is not possible. If i shld be doing that i guess i would have a stoop very soon.
I am still too young for that

Hi all,
I was wondering.

i have a six month old and she cries my head off most of the time.the thing irritates me so much and sometimes i really feel like i shld give a good beating.
Besides, the stress is just so much.Imagine six months after having a baby and my whole body still aches as when i was i just put to bed.

moms in the house,do u have a clue? How do i deal with this incessant cries?

U are right
123papas:

i thot u were the person that said we would be writing memos, the essay was gangster. but what can't God do. I will trust Him for everything. Well next text I suspect would be some SHL parole, afterall which other test again remain, Dupsy must work in PZ, u re so passionate about this job or the 1.8m p.a., me sef no mind toooo. So Dupsy, prepare well

U are right. The next stage is an online SHL assessment.Ur test will be timed by the system and once ur time is up it will shut down.

By the people that did te third stage last year were asked to chose between writing a memo and a report.U either write a report.its just that the format changed for this year.

Dear Okoroboy,
I guess u are good, but i must confess the way u talk does not reflect it.please don't continue that way.

You see great minds are known by the way they talk. your speech does not suggest u are one. Please stop telling us how scholarly u are, just keep making your contribution because i believe that in due course we will be able to say how good u are, not based on what u have told us but on what we have seen from your posts,
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Which Way Nlng? by lovelynk(f): 5:42pm On Oct 02, 2007
Hello greats,I salute u all.

I hope u don't mind my intrusion but i really want to tap into the info on this thread.I have been an ardent reader of the thread from the beginning,in fact one of the millions that fell by the wayside as u called it.I actually cried foul when i heard I didn't make it to the 3rd stage but seeing the caliber of people that remains,i must say that even if they played foul they were still smart enough to pick the best among all.

Winners,I want u to have this in mind at all times:
He(God) is able to do exceedingly abundantly above more than u can eva ask or imagine.Whats more,He has ordained all things to function to produce good for u.So continue in ur joyful expectation, all things are working for ur good.

Back to my main point,I wonder if Davidylan would be kind enough to give the links that will enable me apply and do a biomedical course in the States.
I have a good degree in biochemistry and have been issued a visa to the states.I wish to study further along that line when I get there and will really appreciate it if u could tell me how to go about it.

Once again winners,I salute u and ask that u forgive me if I intruded.I just couldnt help it.

Dera poster,in ur first Notification letter(NL) u were told that u have to quote ur name and case no in all correspondence to KCC.U are required to write this on the top of the email.I guess they need that because some unsrupolus people might star sending mails in ur place to KCC and if they should reply, they will give out ur info to the wrong person. In the end u might find out that another person has processed ur case so play by the rules.
