chuna1985: This is the job of ground troops, An airstrike is uncalled for. All I have to say is buhari want to hear am ooo. well if he persists, he will. I hear ya fam. I felt it was a drastic measure when I read the first report. But the creekers are some serious guys. They don't respect half steps. This will hopefully be enough to stop the piracy and bunkering. There is nothing noble about raping women and robbing merchants. I'm honestly tired of hearing about us fighting each other. We can be so great if only we would drop our arms and join hands. |

chuna1985: Guy this is an unprovoked airstrike...Buhari is asking for trouble .
If u say some ""suspected terrorists are in a certain area, send ground troops to fish dem out.
ordering an airstrike where people live is massive st.upidity.
buhari wants an end to amnesty n has already ended the Niger deltan vigilante groups that get paid for guiding pipelines....... He asked for it n Oohh yes, he will get it 10 fold. Stop the war drumming. We need each other to survive. C'mon family let's wait to hear the official reports. All we have seen are doctored pics from other events. I'm yet to hear any verified sources report civilian casualties. The people bunkering are the people that are ruining their own ecosystems and killing the economy. Let's give the new gov a chance to make things right. The SS leaders have been getting mnesty money for years now and yet no development in the region. No latrines, boreholes, businesses NADA! Their leaders are just as if not more bereft of decency than the political class because they are their brothers in arms. I'm not saying the airstrike was the best move but maybe it was the only move. |

okekeanayo: it is very painful to see our surposeth leaders of tomorrow born in computer age and being out smarted by those of the analog age. The nigerian military heads have been in north-east making billions of naira for themselves in an act which brought loss to nigeria and nigerians. Now that the whole world attention is in north-east their source of dubious income is closed, they have started provoking a sleeping lion without no reason but propaganda so that when these boys are provoked into carrying arms, the arm forces heads will see market to sell their stolen arms from north-east while expecting FG to send them back to Niger-delta where they will steal crude oil in vessels. In my opinion, the arm forces are using our heads and they are responsible for our woes! le I'm not trying to be snide nor but I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying. Are saying that the gov is basically starting a false flag operation on the SS so as to provoke them into a new war. With this new war they would be able to get more funding to siphon into their pockets? If so I might have agreed with you prior to May 29, 2015 but there is a new proverbial sheriff in town. Corruption and embezzlemen is about to cease to exist. I honestly just wanna see my people flourish. |

I like the new one. It's more regal and the upright posture is more befitting of governance. Purple suits her. |

simpleseyi: This is how the Tutsi and Hutu war started in Burundi and Rwanda. If you people start another war, we the Yorubas/Hausas/Fulanis/Kanuris will still use the old trick we used between 1967 to 1970 to cut you to your size. You have started drumming war, this time around be prepared for full genocide by the Yorubas/Hausas/Fulanis/Kanuris.
You cant start a war and expect hugs and kisses from us. What part of the game is that? C'mon blackman we're better than this. |
