Well it may interest you to know that confederates regularly have protest marches in which the wave the confederate flag, call the government in Washington all sorts of names and call for the return of the confederacy.

In Germany, Neo-Nazis regularly have protests in which they make racist remarks and call for the dismemberment of Germany.

Never have I heard that either America or Germany sent in troops to kill their own citizens for these protests.

Unlike Nigeria, Germany and the USA are civilised countries. They respect the sanctity of human life and they will not kill their own people over mere words and flags. They also respect the right of self determination.

Referendum may not be in the Nigerian constitution but that does not mean that people cannot agitate for it.

What matters is if the agitation is a violent one or not. Take IPOB for example, most of its protest have been non violent except for the occsional clash with Army and Police which is regular thing all over the world.

Only an armed group can threaten the territorial intergrity of Nigeria and IPOB is not armed
Look at your own words. You call Nigeria uncivilized and then complain about barbaric behavior. Don't try to shake a crazy man's hand and then complain when he coughs in your face.

IPOB provokes the army which is notorious for unprofessional behavior and trigger happy soldiers. The difference between here and there is state police. Soldiers world over are madmen which is why our country is in the toilet whenever former soldiers are at the head of governance.

Restructuring for autonomy will give us "Biafra" within the Nigerian context. Another war would do us no good. I'm tired of reading about black people killing other black people.

Pls just show me one reason we can cling on to as the basis to fight for one nigeria.. Just one.
There is no matter. You changed the subject and now you're accusing me of derailing the the subject?

This is absolute nonsensical trash and shameless falsehood. Not everyone who lived through Nigeria/Biafra war has condemned another round of it in order to achieve unconditional freedom. War has always being part of human nature and will continue to play a part in shaping of our future. I shall fight again and again to achieve freedom for my people.
You don't see the big picture. But continue on and enjoy your results.

Nobody is trying to push Nigeria into war, its just unfortunate that a lot of Nigerians dont know the difference between referendum and war
There is no difference in this country. Constitutionally there is no provision for such an event. Any such threat to the territorial integrity is a call to war especially when attempting to resurrect a defunct state that previously engaged in war.

If people in the us began to call for a referendum while flying confederate flags and yelling Dixie or death please believe The generals would put foot to yansh in a heartbeat.

Everyone who lived through the war has condemned any rehashing of Biafra. I was just talking to my old man the other night. He almost blew a gasket because of how upset he got talking about these morons trying to push us back into the hells of war.

Israel receives several billions of dollars per year from the USA, and enjoys free access to the US and other western markets. Akwa Ibom doesn't. Think about that for a minute.
I keep trying to explain this to them but they don't listen! They don't read or research on their own. All they do is parrot whatever their radio tells them. You can identify the morons by their grammar and poor spelling. Thanks for your posts in this thread. They don't listen but at least you are trying.

PMB tried to go earlier this year and was told he was unwelcome and that there would be bloodshed if he touched igbo soil. Don't forget now. We blew a serious bridge building opportunity by now allowing him to attend the Enugu summit.

GenBuhari:
Africans should boycott BBC and other imperialist owned and controlled news media which includes all the main news agencies in Nigeria.

When Nigeria hold important affairs of state, like appointments of CJN , swearing in of key govt officials no reports from BBC unless it is meant to ridicule.

African need to have a clean cut from anything to do with imperialists and all their devious Aid agencies.
The rest are too filled with hate to see the true enemies of progress. May it be well with you for seeing the big picture.
