This my brother's application shows that what God cannot do does not exist and that there is no hard and fast rule for ircc. He refused to do IELTS and refused to do upfront medicals. He graduated in 2012 and has never worked for anybody in his life. He just runs his ecommerce business. And his application was haphazardly packed. Me I did IELTS and upfront medicals still we are still waiting.. Omo I'm still shaking on his behalf |

This here is why Nigeria isn't gonna get better. Vaccination isn't do or die in any country, there are other rules to follow if you are not vaccinated. Winner0718: I will like to share something here concerning the Vaccine, for those who did not want to take the vaccine and would like to have the card and all will be verified i have a connect in LASUTH Ikeja. I did not negotiate with the person though but i can connect you guys .
For those who are travelling for fall 2021, you can reach me with my moniker. |

Congratss Spectro. You really deserve this Spectro: In my previous application, there was no concern raised about proof of funds.
When I read the GCMS notes, I discovered that they had two concerns
1. Purpose of Visit 2. Family ties
I was shocked when I saw that the Senior VO stated that there was no academic/career progression.
That was obviously entered in error because I have a Bachelor's degree IN Economics and was going for Masters degree in Economics with a first class grade.
But I realized that the VO might have gotten confused because I also have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
So I did a lot of explaining sha. I wrote three different LOEs. One was general, the second was for purpose of visit, and the third was for home tie.
I paid full tuition.
I did not create GIC.
LOE on purpose of visit was 4 pages... It was exhaustive. I explained every stage of my academic stages and career.
LOE on family tie was 5 pages, I think. I emphasised on assets, parents and study plan.
I thank God for his mercies. |

Please in a bid to travel I know we all are eager to take the vaccine. Please let's be mindful that the ones currently in the country if at all available is expired and lets hold on until the new batch arrives. Canada will not send you back for not being vaccinated. Have your quarantine plans P:S especially people travelling next week Lekiboboe: For Lagos Residents or those who got their first dose in Lagos, is this link to book/reg. to get the Vaccine
https://publicreg.vaccination.gov.ng/
if NO, what is the link?
And where can someone who stay in the axis of Command-Ipaja, Abule-egba, ile epo at Alimosho LG get the first dose
Thanks |

What do you suggest for an international student who has booked a flight for a One-way ticket? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Lovesarrow: 11:21am On Jul 26, 2021 |
Not international student. Any traveller requesting for PTA or BTA. A return ticket is a must. Its CBN policy Lekiboboe: Good morning great minds
Is it compulsory for an international student to have a Return Flight Ticket before he/she can get PTA (Personal Travel Allowance) from a Nigerian Bank?

Hi First you go to there website https://pay.cibc.com/ISBO/payment/#/ and create a profile. 1. You are applying for student GIC program 2. Minimum amount is $10000, you can do upto $20000 but bear in mind that this money will only be available on tranches for a period of 8 months or so. 3. Select resident country 4. Do not check the I'd like to pay in canadian dollars box 5.. you will see an amount in USD click on it and continue, that amount will be held for 20 minutes while u fill the form 6. After filling the form you will be contacted by the bank in 1-2 business days with an account number to pay into 7.. proceed to the bank and make the payment from a USD account NOTE: payment can be only made once before you arrive to Canada. And PAYMENT MUST BE MADE FROM THE SAME NAME ACCOUNT OTHERWISE THEY WILL RETURN YOUR MONEY Hope this helps feistymikey: Good afternoon, please does anyone know how to apply for the GIC? And how it works?? |
