I think the cucumber glut in SW is not only about rain farming. From what l observed the price was even better in the peak of the rain than now.

I think it is cause by either water or nutrients not enough! I was in market this morning, and it was sold 6-5k here.

Baba, l won't lie it's rain that is doing more of the irrigation, the farm is far and it's already eating deep into my pocket, l only noticed one curved fruit Sha, for the nutrients the soil looks rich and l only apply forliar for now, which other will you recommend?

Downy mildew infection.... nothing you can do about it than to start managing it, cut the affected part, spray fungicide twice in week (preferably Cabrio@50ml in the evening) no how! you will see your own before it life span end.

okay boss, thanks... I have Cabrio on ground already. I've spread once though, definitely going to spray it tomorrow. Can l mix Cabrio with the forliar fertilizer and spray cos l was planning to spray forliar tomorrow

It looks like mg. Issue but since you spray foliar fertiliser, it could be a chemical burn.
So you may wish to monitor things for a little while before rushing out Epsom salt.

Some years ago, I got one n half bag on a plot at the peak harvest, I harvested 2ce a week, this amounted to 3 bag per week. If you work on population n feed them well, u can get more. I sold bag btw 5 to 7k depending on the scarcity(mind u, during glut, it can sell 2k, lol). Check it out in a month if u plant 2,3,..6 plots.
Those months u listed up there, are the periods where only northerners supply markets to the SW, and there type is the long pod which SW don't like, since they don't have options, they buy it like that.

Boss, which period is glut period for Okro? Currently l'm looking at planting a plot with at least 1500 stands for Nov/Dec. Market, do you think this is a good move Your reply will be appreciated

Am sad, and angry like mad! This is as a result of fake cocopeat I bought from Let's farm agro shop in akure. I confirm it from 3 colleagues, they too has similar issue as a result of cocopeat they bought from thesame place. I got really pissed yesterday when I realized the man himself knew the cocopeat is not good, he was telling me "he bought it, so he must sell it too"

Sorry for the setback bro, for the Let's farm man he should have said something better or simply apologize rather than saying he bought so he must sell it, that's very annoying
