I have noticed recently this craze for obtaining PHDs by our young people. while I feel it is good; personally, I prioritize making money over paper certifications

An average Igbo man makes millions weekly even without tertiary education, so of what use is being a PHD holder and yet can't earn a living wage?

if that certification is good as they paint it, why can't they be able to make money legitimately from it? No one gets rich from just earning salaries, even if there are, most of the highest paid salary earners in Nigeria don't even have PHDs.

Ekiti state has the highest number of professors in Nigeria, yet it is one of the poorest and less developed state in Nigeria.
