And do you know why no one wants to buy him grin grin grin

"according to an executive at Barcelona. 'There is no other option. He has been offered to us, Milan, Inter and Real Madrid. Basically all of the big clubs. But none are interested. We are the same as those clubs are, we're looking for a player who is more creative and has a greater technique than Lampard. So it looks like he will go nowhere."

Razorr beat me to it (and you say i love Chelsea huh)

Well its not the signing i expected (or wanted for that matter) but i guess Wenger is up to his "i will turn him into a star!" stuff. Oh well if he can do it with others, you all better watch out for this boy.

At least he is a proven poacher (even if Croatia is not exactly a league i would reckown with) but lets see what happens here undecided

Still would have gone for proven quality, a la Tevez, "Le sulk" or the one Kit loves to hate grin OBAGOAL grin grin

At least it shows that Wenger is working (Comon Grimandi we need you oh!! Le Prof cannot handle these transfer stuff sad)

Oboy

No be like that oh!! I really wouldn't break a leg to get Martins, its just that people keeping asking if we have gotten him since we are looking at options from Newcastle (and i would rather have Martins than Owen)

But Anelka over anyone cool, it seems Wenger considers Martins as someone he can work with (but ACN worries might make him not put in an offer, as Sheyi will also be unavailable during the ACN period as well)

Anyway! Martins would be better than signing "NO ONE" No that would be a disaster tongue

@ Jackal

Well remeber that a major reason Ronaldo stayed was because of Carlos Quieroz, the same reason that a french speaking player would jump at the chance to join Arsenal (and leave when he becomes a star tongue grin).

The reason folks like Tevez had a hard time at first (apart from Pardrew being a shyte coach wink) was because of the Language thing, same as Reyes at Arsenal, remember these Spanish guys are "Softies" and really find it difficult moving or settling down in another country,

so as much as your assertions are right in terms of which club have a better chance of success, i do feel Torres (or his agent) would still believe he will have a better chance of settling down quicker under a Spanish coach, who will make him the star of the squad, rather than go to Le Arse (where RVP will let him know he is now in charge) or Manc (where Rooney will do the same).

At Liverpool he will have no competition.

@ Muyeskin or whatever your name is huh

Listen i have been in a  good mood for a while, avoiding "Nitwits" and "silly battles" around the thread so as not to get pissed off by folks that can't define "Sarcarsm" even if there was a dictionary infront of them.

Listen "Hombre", you really do not want to go down that route.

Just go and renew your Arsenal membership before you throw curve balls tongue or better yet (and far cheaper for you i would think) enrol in an "English" teaching class.

@ Jackal

I still say that Torres (If he does come to the Prem in the first place)would rather sign for a Club with a Spanish Coach and Spanish players than go to a place where he would need an interpreter (does Torres speak english huh)

As for the money, did you forget that they have AMERICANS TOO grin If they get rid of Bellamy (and maybe Crouch) believe me Benitez will force the Yanks to cough up the dosh (even if he has to assure them that, thats all he is going to spend) And if the money is there, No arguement; Torres will be at the Pool. Anyway, like i said, (which you agree with), Hunteerlar is a better return for money.

What Arsenal needs is for the Coach to get his head out of his Arse and sign a new deal.

Which "Top" player is going to want to come, if the Coach is not even sure of being around when the season is over huh

Wenger- Hey "Star Player" i want you to sign a 4 year contract with us
Star player- 4 years!? Blimey Boss are you going to be around then
Wenger - Err! I ain't sure,
Star Player- So why do i need to sign a 4 year deal if you aren't even sure you will still be here
Wenger- Just sign and shut the Bleep up will you angry

Yeah i really see us getting 2 strikers undecided

Wenger is now the issue, he should calm down the storms, depending on who we get will let me know if Wenger will stay.

Anelka, Babel or Martins (even Hunterlaar) = WENGER IS STAYING
Owen, Ogbuike, or any other young runt = WENGER MIGHT LEAVE

Err Razorr, Babel huh

Anelka wants to leave Bolton (not necessarily to come to Arsenal) and i bet you Hunterlaar would jump at the chance to play in our team.

Concentrate on looking for "free" players and building a "Love nest" for Grant and Jose. Since thats what keeps Chelsea occupied these days.

I Repeat if Reyes (Part 2) decides to come to England, he would rather go to where he can settle down faster and find good "Tortilla joints" (with his Spanish mates @ the Pool) than come down to eat "Beans on toast" with Wanye, Rio and Gary.

Difference is Akola

Everyone feels/felt Henry is/was a "Muppet" for ever saying what he said, or getting involved in stuff that doesn't concern him tongue You won't get any Arsenal fan praising Henry over his David Dein stance. But like jackal alluded to, you Chelsea guys are always divided into camps

1, Roman apologist
2, Jose a@@ lickers
3, Any other person that seems relevant at the club, be it Kenyon or who ever.

I didn't see the Arsenal board interviewing Managers while Arsene was still in the middle of a season, but Kenyon was jetting round the globe pleading with folks to take the Job, or you want to deny the links to Klinsman or Guss Hinndink. And you think that is "NORMAL BEHAVIOUR huh".

Henry is a Legend at Arsenal, but he will always be regarded as a Muppet for suggesting David Dein's departure was one of the reasons why he left. Wenger should/might still sign, so adding his name is a bit premature (besides Wenger has always left it late to extend his contracts, so nothing new there) Does Jose even know whats in his contract, or Roman hold his documents/passport like a "Brotel Madam holds the documents of her Prostitutes" tongue

And isn't that meant to say; "Roman will deal with your troubles!", cause at least the Arsenal supporters have a say in our takeover stuff, and the Mancs made their feelings known during theirs, what exactly do you Chelsea fans do apart from waving flags, given to you by ROMAN grin grin

Anyone buying Torres will just be getting another Reyes, These Spanish striker guys might look skillfull on the Telly, but they can't really hack it in the Prem. The Midfielders are ok, a la Xabi Alonso, Fab or Arteta. But the strikers are shyte tongue

Huuntelar is young and can learn to fit into any team play, he would be devastating with Rooney (far more with RVP though wink) and will be willing to work with the team and leave his ego behind, Torres is another Henry waiting in the wings (and i ain't talking about the skill) He will feel he is bigger or better than most of his colleagues (which ever team he plays for) and can you honestly see him settling down in England.

He would have a better chance at the Pool, cause the Manager is Spanish, Xabi, Pepe R and Garcia are there and even Mascherano as an Argie is a Spanish speaker. I believe if Torres comes to blighty, Pool would be his first choice, as he could settle down quicker, and be the star of the team (well apart from Stevie Boy cool).

@ Jackal

i am not sure they get it (maybe Razorr to a little extent).

Chelsea is a Mirage under the whims and caprice of a Russian Oligarch!! Like someone said, Jose just inherited what the former manager had put in place, and exploited it to get results (Wenger did the same thing at Arsenal so nothing wrong with that).

But the issue is, most of you supporters tie your allegience to the club based on Jose M, what will happen when/if he leaves. Mancs might not be ready to contemplate Fergie leaving, but at least who ever takes over will have something to build on, same with Le Arse, but Chelsea is like Fulham, run by one man, and it ain't the coach.

granted Roman seems to like the club, but shudder to think what might happen if he gets bored and jets off! Then Chelsea will be like Leeds grin grin

Jose's ego is not even small enough to be contained in his brain, do you all really think he will eventually love this Grant guy telling him which players he needs or doesn't need.

Jose is a proud man and i doubt he will get along with this "Facade" when stuff starts going wrong again. I mean what would happen again if Peter C ran into a wall and fractured his head again huh or if Drogba broke his knee in the process of doing his "sliding goal celebrations" huh or Micheal Essien getting so fat he can't run around anymore (is it me or is the Negro adding weight huh) or Lampard thinking he is playing for England while wearing his chelsea jersey!? I mean all these stuff are probabilities.

Anyway, lets see how Jose copes with this new Roman addition to the "Soap Opera" that is Chelsea FC (More Emmerdale tongue than Eastenders).

Ok then, we will see how Arsene responds in 2 weeks time or if Fab is playing for Arsenal when the season starts, afterall, the Henry issue has come and gone.
