One of the reasonable policy I see this CBN governor implemented is this redesigning of Naira. This my assertion is debatable.

However, the next policy CBN should implement is to draw an act that will ban the use of paper note of every foreign currency in Nigeria, especially dollar, pounds and Euro. Since we are not transacting business in Nigeria with foreign currencies, I really don't see any need why we should be carrying the notes about internally.

I have done many businesses that have to do with foreign currencies but I have never went about with the physical notes. I did not even see any need for such.

If you know of any reason why we carry foreign currencies in Nigeria, kindly share it with us.

For me every BDC should have dormiciliary accounts for their transactions, they pay to and receive from their customers through this medium. What's the use of dormiciliary account? By so doing inflow will be tracked.

This is my opinion and would like anyone with contrary views to share it here. Even, I will appreciate it more if the CBN can enlighten us why they don't implement this.

The problem is that, the same CBN top members and the Nigerian politicians are still the same people that keeps breaking the rules and keep causing more problems for the naira....

A bullish USD will lead to a bearish crypto market...Same way a bearish USD will lead to a bullish crypto market....

In simple layman explanation...dollar price don increase.. let me sell my crypto and earn the dollars....meaning more people will sell their cryptos to earn the dollars...which leads to more supply than demands...when supply is more than demand...you know what happens next na...



Same way if dollar price decrease...instead of selling the dollar at a low value, let me use it to buy crypto and keep...meaning more people will buy cryptos with the hope of getting better value for their dollars....now that will lead to more demands than supply...when demand is more than supply.. price will go higher....

So a falling usd often leads to a bullish crypto market, while a rising usd often leads to a bearish crypto market...it is only in very rare cases that you will see both of them become bullish at the same time...

Not necessarily a scammer..I remember during that time when CBN was blocking bank accounts of people trading crypto with it , They even had spy on binance who even pretend to be p2p merchant and they offer you very attractive price just to lure you to trade with them, boom after trading with them , your bank account gets flagged and blocked and you begin to wonder what went wrong.....if for example bitcoin is selling for $18,000 they will offer to sell their own at $17,000 just to lure you ..same thing applies to usdt..

You guys need to chill out. While a devalued Naira would definitely affect us all, it is only logical for some of us to pray for Naira's depreciation. Business is all about selfishness and everyone is trying to make more money.

Dasuki and the likes of Baba-Kusa (who'd "spent" 1.5 BILLION Naira on PRAYERS For Nigeria against terrorism) are all free people today with little chances of ever going to jail. The government would never jail them because they know they are doing their own currently too.

Even at international level, we can clearly see how the developed countries are aiding our corrupt leaders. It's because when those leaders steal, they hide the funds in their banks and that means more development for them at our expense. But should we blame them or should the blame go to the leaders themselves and we that have refused to take action against them? I will leave that for you to answer.

As long as people are making clean, legitimate money online, they have every right to hope for a weaker naira no matter how wrong it might seem to you. Every calamity is an opportunity for some people.

NB: I make most of my money offline and a devalued naira would certainly not benefit my business.
