The shooting of the biopic on late Nigerian rapper, Da Grin has commenced in full force.

Stingomania, the Producer of the Biopic released the official trailer of the movie this morning after Director, Daniel Ademinokan concluded shooting of the movie around 2am. The accident scene where the rapper lost his life was the last scene to be shot; the emotional-laden scene was shot around Mushin and Oregun. Post production works will commence from next week in a bid to meet the April deadline set by Ope Banwo, the CEO of Stingomania.

First of all I would like to say I like this song. Produced by J. Sleek, this one is titled “Mo Like E” and its by no one but Mr Walz. He is the same guy that brought us the single “checkmate” and J. Sleek is the master producer behind most of 2face’s songs like “implication”. If you recall those songs were bangers too. This one was created to rock the party any day. I think its safe to say Mr. Walz is here to stay.

Beyonce darkens her skin for the March 9th Anniversary issue of L’Officiel in an African-themed spread. The French fashion magazine featured the singer wearing a tribal African inspired dress and jewelry by Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Rodarte, and Fendi.

Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, created one of the African-inspired pieces for the photoshoot. Beyonce agreed to have her face painted darker and decorated with tribal make-up as a tribute to Nigerian musician and human rights activist Fela Kuti.

So the 2011 Grammy Awards was held yesterday; there was news on twitter that Omotola was present at the event. I didn’t think it was true, I wasn’t even thinking of believing it without a photo evidence at least. Well I guess I was wrong.



Omotola made history as the first Nollywood star to walk the Grammys Red Carpet. Congrats!

Claudia was a 20 year old student and dancer who thought enhancing her butt would make her more attractive and get her into more music videos.

She traveled to the US to do the surgery and developed chest pains and struggled for breath for 12 hours after she had the illegal silicone injections at a budget hotel. She was taken to hospital but could not be saved.

A preliminary examination found the silicone filler had leaked into her bloodstream, leading to heart failure.

American detectives are investigating whether she was treated with cheap ‘industrial’ silicone, normally used as a sealant, rather than medical-grade material used in breast implant surgery.

It was not the first time Miss Aderotimi had had the procedure. She is believed to have been treated in November and the latest injection on Monday may have been a ‘top-up’ procedure.
