The “So Inspired” video was initially scheduled to drop online on 04/04/2011 but since it broke on TV on Tuesday night, WAJE’s later made the decision to release the video online.

Word is that “Waje’s fan mail has exploded with messages from fans asking for video to be released online so that can play back to their fill. And WAJE made the decision to break protocol saying “why wait”…” Directed by Clarence Peters…haha obviously it has to be sick! The song itself is too on point.

This is the little boy whose headless and limbless body was found floating in the Thames ten years ago, it was claimed last night. The five-year-old’s identity has remained a mystery after he was smuggled into Britain and murdered in a voodoo-style ritual killing. He was drugged with a ‘black-magic’ potion and sacrificed before being thrown into the Thames, where his torso washed up next to the Globe Theatre in September 2001. Detectives used pioneering scientific techniques to trace radioactive isotopes in his bones to his native Nigeria.

Most people first heard of the P when they saw the video of the track being the second single from Naeto C’s debut track and featured Ikechukwu on one verse.
What they did not know is that the phrase has been created by Tola Odunsi a.k.a Bobby Boulders who coined the P and made it popular in our in-house circle. Naeto as he has continued to do, embraced the phrase, made it his own and started a national phenomenon. Now everyone is talking about the P, upgrade your P, I’m feeling your P, What’s the P etc, the word has become part of the lexicon of the new naija urban class similar to other Naeto C catchphrases such as “Yes Boss”.
Anyway, here for the first time is the original track, featuring Naeto C in full flow, the track remains an abiding classic, the song was all about attitude and style and in case u were ever in doubt about Naeto C’s P this should leave you with no questions.

My Life, My Damage

‘My Life, My Damage’ deals with the consequences of drug abuse and HIV/AIDS. A young lady who lives a reckless life abroad as a drug addict is given a rude shock when she discovers that she’s HIV positive and now has to seek redemption for herself.

MY country, Their Damage

‘My Country, Their Damage’ deals with the issue of human trafficking. A young and naive village girl has her dreams come true when an American returnee asks for her hand in marriage. With promises to take her abroad once she’s done with her education, the girl couldn’t have asked for a better future. But alas on getting there, she realises that all that glitters isn’t exactly gold.

LKT, Nigeria’s foremost fujipop artiste is here again with new single titled Money sweet featuring Jingle, we broke the news of him joining Edlyne records few days ago.

On Wednesday the 16th of March, Nigeria’s foremost fujipop artist Olalekan Tunde popularly known as LKT signed a recording contract with Edlyne Records. LKT hit the limelight by featuring in Olu Maintain’s monster hit Yahoozee and has remained in the limelight since by collaborating with many artists.

Edlyne records on the other hand has a good track record of bringing artist to their dreams. Edlyne records have made artists such as DJ Zeez and the Late Dagrin superstars in a short period of time. They are known for their well thought out plans of getting artist to stardom. According to LKT, he needed the right push to progressively move his career forward and he found the whole qualities in Edlyne records.

LKT and Edlyne records have also decided to bless their fans with another single titled “Money Sweet” from the forthcoming album. The date of the album is not yet set but Edlyne promises that it would be one of the best album in 2011.

The venue, which was bombarded with popular Nigerian artistes such as M.I, label mate Overdose, Terry Tha Rapman, Brymo, Loose Kaynon, Iyanya, DIPP, Harrysong, Andre Blaze, Jaywon, Femi and others industry personalities, models, vixens, TV show hosts and many more, was filled with the atmosphere of fun and naughty play.

The crowd rendered a birthday day song to the birthday boy who wore a beaming smile all through the night and in a surprise turn; he rendered a powerful birthday number to another birthday celebrant – Afrikim.

A toast was made to Praiz and X3M Music by the short black boy M.I and Andre Blaze. In similar fashion, they lauded the efforts of X3M Music picking up Praiz at a point where he was just about to fully launch his career. Andre Blaze then teased M.I by saying it was Praiz that made his song ‘Epic’ truly epic.

According to TMZ Super buff Nigerian model Toyin Koyejo who was cast to be the leading man in Nicki Minaj‘s new video…got into big trouble and almost lost his job after tweeting the title of the Nicki Minaj video he was featuring in.

Few days sgo, Nicki Minaj revealed to fans via Twitter that she was shooting a new video however, intended on keeping the title of the song top secret.

Nigerian model Toyin Koyejo was hired as the leading man for the video, however was removed from that position after he took to Twitter to give details on the video shoot and announce the name of the song; “Super Bass”.

The Nollywood Star, James Esomugha better known as Jim Iyke was arrested on Wednesday, March 10, 2011 for failing to comply with government rules on the use of tinted windows on vehicles in the country.

Jim Iyke was riding in a Silver Chrysler Convertible car with number plate ‘S-5’ along with his personal assistant when members of the Nigerian Police Force and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) stopped him.

The Police were complying with the directive issued by the Minister of Police Affairs, Mr. Humphrey Abbah on Monday, February 28, 2011 enforcing the ‘provisions of prohibition of tinted glasses on vehicles’.

When ordered to step out of the car, the star actor refused. This prompted the police to forcefully remove the tints from the windows of the car at the scene. Iyke, who was obviously not happy with what was going on, caused a stir with the officers, attracting a crowd of on-lookers.

After much drama, an infuriated Jim Iyke had no choice but to follow the officers to the station. He was later released on recognition.
