those complaining are trying to stop others from buying the form so that the competition will not be tough as they also plan to enter themselves; it is a shame the way we bring people down in this country, snoop is doing a good job with his show; am sure if it were to be naija, they will say he want to do the same thing; make una go sidon; see pot call kettle black; what happened to use what you have to get what you want; if he finds a wife so what?; if he sleeps with a chic so what as long he never raped her or them; its a free world. I slept with a girl that is not my chic so wat; abuse me if you have not done the same this year. blackie us to be a sex symbol in the 90s but where is he today, gone with the wind that is what naija wants for those guys simply becos they want the story to say he use to be very rich but now he is riding okada; Olorun ma je o; I wish him the best and lots of success; wish to others what you wish for yourself |
with or without Dbanj any lady that wants to jump a koko will easily do so without any form, wh even know whether Dbanj can satisfy a girl let alone as many girls as possible, common, becos looks like a sex symbol doesn't meant he has the ability to rock a boat; some of us don't even know whether he one weak guy in the room; there are so many guys who make so much noice about how they slammed babes but when the truth finally comes out you find out that the guy is actaully a joke; lets look at it this way, ever since dbanj started have we ever heard of any scandal concerning the guy apart from those hear say that he dated this and that, why should a guy worry himself because his chic wanting to get laid, if my chic wants another guy then I have not done a good job on her |
abeg make una let person hear word; see beta people; make she park out becos she slept with a man so what; like no one of you saying that shit that have not done something wrong, sin na sin; guys that slept with a girl other than his supposed girlfriend is the same as this person in question, same thing with the ladies, why are you people deceiving yourselves abegi |

if you are using strong decoder then you have to scan manually for channels but if you are using hitv branded decoder and you don't have 30 channels today then you have to upgrade to 2.0.7, call an installer |
inter milan and ac milan make use of one stadium; so its not about who owns the stadium but the arrangement; if the state govt can lease the stadium to a club for say 5 - 10 years, the club will take advantage of the long lease and put the stadium to good use |
one thing I know for sure is that the nigeria league has got more home market than the english league, our population is 3 times more than the UK, but those who market our league can see the oportunity; how many people even watch football sef? i don't think its up to 1million but their madness affect rest of the country |
microgiant:you are right but we should take advantage of every opportunity to correct the wrong, maybe if we tell them at every slight opportunity about the need for change we can get things right; correction is not too much, one day they wll learn |
this people can make more money if they are ready; in my opinion a club in nigeria is worth about N2Billion every season, and this is workable if the open their brains |
sorry about the duplication but I think you all can go thru the lenghty contribution i made |
this is one problem i have with nairalanders, a thread is posted instead of making use of the opportunity to profer a reasonable solution, they start by comdenming the idea; support Arsenal, Chelsea, Manu, Liverpool, home is home; no matter how much we condenm our league no white man can come to change it for us; we should not act like our league managers who don't think of how to solve the problem but create more problems. we should be constructive thinkers; I know a lot needs to be done like the area of bad pitches, security, coverage. bad pitches - maybe the managers of these club sides lack ideas or they don't just want to change the poor state of our league; I visited the Teslim Balogun Stadium (TBS) in Lagos to see the workers working on the atificial turf, and I can tell that you don't need rocket science to get a standard pitch for quality football; the artificial turf at the TBS Surulere is FIFA standard and I kow for a fact that such turf can last for up to 15 years; how much does it cost, its not like if our state government can't afford to make available the amount needed, but ideas is what their manager don't have. You don't need to wet the turf to make it green, it will remain the same as long as nobody use the venue for political rallies or church crusade. Security - once we have the turf meeting the standard, the next area we should focus on is the security on match day - do a finding on the number of the men needed, then the league managers should setup a committee that will approve security bodies; because we have so many security outfit in the country all the clubs and the committee needs to do is invite them, once they can provide the required manpower needed at every match day and ensure that they submit their own report, apart from providing adequate security for everyone visiting the stadium. An estimate should be made known, so that clubs will pay security firm prior to the commencement of the league, in order to avoid any problem concerning payment while the league is on; I will suggest 200 men and 50 police officers. Coverage - we have to wait and see what DAARSAT will do during the World Cup or in order to have a strong coverage; part of the sponsorship money should be used to purchase mini state-of-art Outside Broadcast equipment Van (OB-Van) that will be stationed stadium and ensure that at least each van is equiped with nothing less than 12 cameras; get expart to man them. HD is the in thing now, so let the equipment be HD so that nobody will say the picture quality is not up to standard. Every match will be recorded and available for live broadcast, so that any authorised station that want to show live match will just connect; the league body is called NFL, so who says the body cannot setup a station called Nigeria League TV of NFL-TV. existing contract stands; all the network needs to do is link up with the OB-Van and show the matches; we can put matches at different times; the commentators; we can call for audition in every state where we have premier league teams pick the best 2 per venue ( creating jobs) and in total 40 commentators (no noise pls, we can pay them); since the trend is the English league, we can get seasoned english commentators to assist in training them. our own Ekoku is one of them we can invite him so that he can provide support and training for them for like 3 month or more prior to the commencement of the league, once all this done then we should be ready to stage a good league every season; with little effort we will get there. When the DSTV contract ends then we should review it invite other to bid for rights, since most of the stress they have to go thru covering the league will be reduced with the provision of the 20 OB-Vans; they can then use their cameras for magazine programs about the clubs and players, as well as other news concerning the league. we can also encourage clubs to set up club TVs so that their fans can learn more about the things they do, and it they are attractive enough more people could become their fans. one more area where I think the state government should look into is the setting up of a proper club manager and make the club transparent so that the public could buy into it, so that real member will emerge |

The idea behind the new tejuosho market marvelled me because that is the direction we should go in build house; the new tejuosho market has underground car park which I find laudable because it give the designer options to play with space. The tejuosho market should be an eye opener, although it is not new to architect, they should revisit the idea as they will find more space to create other important option for the owner of the project , http://www.tejuoshomarket.com/

Omolola1:Lola, using the word downgrade in this context is almost the same as what I have outlined here; the world cup is one of the grestest event but some people still see it as overhyped, same as the olympics but that is not enough to cancel it; |
People who call OBJ all sort of names are truly more like the man himself; the only difference is that they use different platforms to display their skills; if our TV stations are allowed to work like the US counterpart many of them may end up not making money because of the attitude of some of our people. They talk bad about people who are trying to earn a living legitimately and also creating opportunity for others. You talk about morals yet you cannot do anything about people who sell ponographic materials to children, go to oshodi you will find people selling this items. visit the nearest video club around you and you will surely find children collection films restricted for viewers over 18 and you talk about women as if the country itself is thinking streight. Ladies who feels she is eligible should in my opinion rush to the bank and get a form for herself and make good money and fame. because this bad-bele people will never encourage you. instead of them to sell good idea they will continue to bring people efforts to mere piece of paper. That is why even with 10K policemen we cannot conduct a simple election. Simply tell HITV to activate the parential lock for their customer so that any customer who feels they have children younger than the required age should not watch if the contents are for adult. You talk about ridicle look around you you will surely find a girl that is almost neaked. I laugh when people talk about morals yet their sister, girlfriends or friends will nearly show the world her reserved areas in the name of fashion and they will say nothing yet they want to be seen as saint. we need more of nigerian shows that can be exported. I am sure if PSquare come out today to say they are bringing Dance show, people will surely talk, dem no dey tire, bad-bele; funny enough some of these people have not created anything in their life, they work for people who have created jobs. If Dbanj mansion or whatever they call it becomes successfull, surely the cameramen will smile to the bank, the cleaners, the security guys, crew members etc all will get employment, if it ran for several years more people will make more money; do you think Big Brother would have been successfull without the shawer hour, gbagbe e! ask DSTV if they are sincere, they will tell you that is the time people actually watch the show. That is why someone will tell us we are not ready for GSM when other people are miles ahead. I will be back |
Haha! why are we comparing white and black? all due respect to Bukky, even if you ask Bukky today he will tell you Fashola is the man, the farm project is a laudable one no doubt but the truth must be told; we are not talking about tarred roads; without thinking too far we know that the Lekki Free Trade Zone project will surpass Tinapa; because even while the project is going on the government is thinking of power. In football, clubs buy players based on their current form; when I look at Fashola's project I sometimes say that guy has gone crazy. If fashola is a sportsman he will be tested more than Usain Bolt for drug; every now and then workers around the state claim that he takes them unaware; in the guys who work around my area Surulere say they are working with fear of loosing their work because Fashola occasionally visit project site without notice. Do you know that the new Tejuosho Market will have underground parking spaces and almost 5000 shops; he is planning to develop 2 out of the 7 light rail route, are we also talking about the badagry projects currently in works; accoring to CNN the only part of Africa that is fast developing than Lagos is Angola and the reason is because of Oil. Even Obama cannot defect Fashola in Lagos (my opinion). To think that I didn't even vote for Fashola during the election, if he contest for any election I will surely campaign for him free of charge; please also note that I will never vote for PDP so in the last election I voted for Agbaje because he managed to convince me ahead of others but Fashola have changed my view about election and running of office. If Fashola contest in Lagos come 2011, I don't see any party fielding a candidate. |
My people D'banj is not as bad as some people claim the guy is only using what he has to aquire what he needs, imagine some of those Dbanj haters in his shoes; some reality shoes are so boring even the owners end up making nothing; somebody mentioned DSTV, I hope they remember Big Brother and the nudity attached to it; even is South Africa they respect Dbanj but back home the story is different. One thing is to have a talent and another is to transform that talent into mega brand; even Dbanj himself will in his heart come out like every other, but his effort and the Grace upon got him to where he is today. My brother celebrate with someone who has made it so that God will bless you too; in fact I don't see those ladies taking their bath publicly like the case of Big Brother. |
well I think I have to disagree a little because if I have to use my very few experiences visit hospitals then I will be right to sya that they are; maybe its because they see the private parts of guys who visits hospitals for treatment o; the last hospital I visit had girls they most men will like to take to bed, maybe it was a delibrate attempts by the management; they were talking about sex not minding the visitors or patient around the reception; I must confess I collected the number of 3 of them and they were willing to come to my house, in fact one of them did but nothing happened becos she was on, so she promised to come another day but I decided not to call anyone of them again because it was too easy and I fear other visitors could have been doing the same to them, even some of my friends who visit the hospital with me had their way with other girls. no disrespect to the profession I know we can find some of them that are not like that but , |
Goldman08:Goldman08; yeah you are right, but if you read closely you will find out that there is a thread already I only wish to invite my guys on this thread to read thru and post there own response thats all |
in areas where we have poor quality houses, we could reach an agreement with the land lord and bring down the houses after proper relocation of occupants, then the new building can start in phases on tens (10s), and as soon as it is completed new and previous occupants should be allowed to move in, while the next phase be commences. |
we can seek the assistance from the Chinese, Japanese and the entire Asian tigers because they seems to have gotten a way of salvaging their own; because a friend of mine who stayed in Asia actually lived in one of the tall buildings and from all I know about him he is not rich. I will like to suggest that the government should get expart to design the building in such a way that the one room ensuite, one room and parlour ensuite, two rooms and parlour ensuite and three rooms and parlour ensuite will be available on every floor. In the area of maintainance effort should be made to enact a law that will protect all area of the building both inside and outside regardless of the status of the occupant of the apartments; if the government is really serious about housing this is the key to our housing need; we have to reduce the use spaces; it is possible to have the car park for every ten building built under the sport center in such a way that you won't find any car parked around the premises of the buildings, yet there will be enough recreational areas. |
I understand the view of most people; it is not as if I really want to bring down those people who cannot afford new wears but we as a nation must do something about it; let us put how trained tailors to the test for at least 3 years and see if they cannot perform |
Each time I pass along the Lekki Express Way just after Ozumba, I see this magnificent building called the 1004. God knows I can leave at the top floor without lift, the location and everything around the building makes me feel like leaving there. Coming out from the Island I kept wondering why can't our government replicate these type of structure around the state and sell it to people and ensure that occupants pay a controlled price. I even see us doing something better that the 1004, all due respect to Ajegunle residence I was born there so no disrespect; looking at AJ from the wideness, I believe it can take up to 10 1004 at a go or even more, Orile, Agege, Amukoko, Ijora, Agboju, most part of Alimosho, Okokomaiko etc; the time has come for us to do something to the housing need of the people and ensure that lands are not wasted, because correct me if am wrong, building bungalow in a city like Lagos should be completely abolished; we should encourage people to form cooperative and build a minimum of 8 storey build on a plot and ensure that they construct underground car park, so that there will be enough spaces for recreational activities. We should realise that our population is growing and the era of building bungalow all in the name of owning a house should be stopped; visit Isheri area along the New Lasu Road, and imagine up to 5 1004 there. So in order to truly fix our housing need in Lagos steps needs to be taken to recreate another 1004, or call it 2008 or 4016 depending on the available spaces; if there can be adequate movement of people or resettlement or temporary accomodation; I will suggest that the government move into slums and first relocate the people in phases, develop the site and return them; example is to take like 10 street, relocate the people to a temoporary accomodation, erect the building and infrastructures, then neatly and quitely return the occupants based on their previous capacity but a decent accomodation; we can task the architect to design a standard one room, one parlour and one room, one parlour and two rooms and one parlour and three rooms all with toilets, store and kitchen. If our architect cannot design decent and affodable accomodate at low cost with very good material so that the apartment could be sold at affordable rates, then we should turn to the Chinese or Japanese for solution because we all can attest to their architectural masterpiece if the building is about 10 storey previous owners ofthe land should get at least one or two apartment and also share in the sale of other apartments and if possible to make it more appealing to land owner the land and/or part of the property should be returned to the owners after 50 years or thereabout. The state should also ensure that enough recreational spaces are provided and all parking spaces should be underground, these should give enough spaces for schools, hospitals, markets etc, all must come with similar underground car parking experience; private schools should think of coming together to create a standing school with enough space for sporting and social activities; markets should have underground car parks as well as hospitals; garden expart should not be left out, they should be part of the design to ensure that every floor on each of the buildings has spaces for flowers or a small garden that must be put to use; with simple regulation I believe our people can live in houses like this and when one can find affordable one room apartment in a condusive environment they will be more organised; lets send our contribution and make sure it is constructive, who knows? people in authority might be visiting Nairaland. Oga Fashola, this or even more is possible and affordable VISIT THE MAIN THREAD HERE TO SEND YOUR CONTRIBUTION: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-264671.0.html |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so in order to truly fix our housing need in Lagos steps needs to be taken to recreate another 1004, or call it 2008 or 4016 depending on the available spaces; if there can be adequate movement of people or resettlement or temporary accomodation; I will suggest that the government move into slums and first relocate the people in phases, develop the site and return them; example is to take like 10 street, relocate the people to a temoporary accomodation, erect the building and infrastructures, then neatly and quitely return the occupants based on their previous capacity but a decent accomodation; we can task the architect to design a standard one room, one parlour and one room, one parlour and two rooms and one parlour and three rooms all with toilets, store and kitchen. I know people will disagree with me but who says Aba made items are not good, most of the new so-called Italian Jeans in most of our boutique are actually made somewhere in Aba, so why can't we just rebrand them and say Made in Aba or Naija, since we all know where it is made. So if we can make jeans how much more common pant; if we don't start we can never get it right, our great fashion people can actually design pant and with support from the government it could be sold for as low as 200 naira, so that this oyinbo people go keep their pant for their pikin. Taiwan started like Aba today and with support from government and people, they are one of the best; don't lets attack ourselves, we can contribute to the change; lets talk to our government we can get it right |
ikamefa:am not surprised maybe you think am very rish or earn good salary that is why I think its a bad idea to wear this things but the truth is that we have to be careful because some of this cloth we don't know their origin and when I said in the past evil have been done using clothes, ask any south african or visit this weblink http://mediafilter.org/caq/caq63/caq63apartheid.html there are more of this information about the apathied regime and the chemical warfare on the web; all am saying the government should try to support cloth makers or whatever they call them; what does it really take to make a simple T-Shirt or even the so-called pant locally; as far as I know it doesn't take rocket science; support the local guy and ban the importation equation balance provided the government ensure that it is affordable over a period of say 10 year when we could have gotten used to using home made new pant |
I don't if you could believe my advice but all I can tell you now is to visit Iris Medical near Sweet Sensation Ogba Ikeja; I have not been there myself well from what I read about him and what I hear him say on TV, I think that guy understand what he is talking about the so-called HIV, or you can search the web for more details about Moringa Oleifera. |
