But sir the stats u just posted are not rili putting Martin's ahead
22/70 =0.31 goals to game ratio
180/460 = 0.39 goals to game ratio..

For d national team
KC.. 8/13=0.615 goals to game ratio
Obagoal... 18/41=0.439 goals to game ratio...
From d stats iheanacho is d more clinical or productive striker for the super eagles and d professional ratio is not as wide as we have been talking abt given KC's poor run of form in front of goal lately KC could easily be better.. So I believe at dis point it's fair to say KC is still a beta ND younger option for d national team.
My opinion tho
komekn:
KC. - 70 plus games 22 goals
Obagoal - 460 games and near 180 goals.

Super Eagles

KC - 13 games 8 goals
Obagoal - 41 games 18 goals

What overwhelmingly conclusive stats are you talking abouthuh

On the issue of rohr's team selection
I want all of us to understand that he will not make his decisions based on Wat u and I want,he has his own tactics and the kind of players he would prefer to fit his tactics.
football is not politics ,dat you go around campaigning ND making unrealistic promises to suit everybody.
I want to take our minds back to 2008/2009 season in Spain when guardiola was made d coach of Barcelona he dropped d following players
1-deco
2-zambrotta
3-ronaldinho(d world best at a time)
3-giovani dose santos(wonder kid tipped to be d next dinho)
4-edmilson.
5- wanted to sell thuram to psg for free before his health caused Him to retire
...
And he brought in players from
1) d academy(busquets,pedro)
2)lesser clubs(alves ,Keita)
3)infact d only player from a top team den was Pique and we all know how his Man Utd career was den...

Any on paper coach,or online analyst would fault ND blast his line of action but dat gave birth to d best Barcelona Team and an era of dominance dat stunned d world....
My point is simple if rohr makes a decision to play 5-4-1,3-3-3-1,4-4-2, or 10-0-0-...its no ones concern... He is d coach he makes d call ND gets stuck for it if it fails.... All we can do is support him... U look at ur stats to judge which players he should invite, but I believe he knows WATS best to suit his tactics.... On dat i rest my case...

On d issue of Mikel..

.its sad but Ders just some players dats indispensable... Or irreplaceable, take Xavi for instance...if we can't get a like for like ders d alternative option of having 2formational setup were if Mikel is substituted out or injured, d team structure adjusts to suit d change....

On iheanacho vs tammy+solanke.
..anyone dat continues to argue his value wit d tammy+solanke supporters club here is wasting valuable time, data, ND brain power,...the argument is like Fyting dat Aguero is beta Dan kayode... It's not relevant here cos Aguero wil Neva ND can Neva be a super eagle even if he wears only green for d rest of his life, ND follows a strict Nigeria diet.sentimental ppl will always sentimental..we are all sentimental as humans, but d worst kind is d ppl dat think they aren't wen they are.

ND to a certain sum1
cheesy
.bets can only be placed on conditional situations... And "if" is d indication of a conditional statement, dats basic English.. If u have never heard of seen a double wager den I just feel sori dat i brought it upon u so hardly, grin
I am only responsible for Wat I say, not how ineptly u interpret, or how impossible it is for u to understand... cool

Looooolll...my tammy, sori tummy hurts from laffing so hard. cheesy he wasn't talking respect earned in d English League... He was talking hype given to English players generally.
2tins I wanna bet on.. 1-solanke will Neva play for us... 2-he myt be a beta striker in ur eyes... But he will Neva ,ND can Neva bench iheanacho in d current SE setup..... If u want us to place a wager, I de with u... No need for plenty analysis now. If he ends up playing for us u win d first wager... ND if in doing so he displaces iheanacho,u win d second.... Are u readyhuh
komekn:
Is Lukaku English yet he is accorded unquestionable respect and accolades as possibly the best striker in the premiership.

Was Drogba English but he is regarded as a legend in the EPL and in Chelsea.

Thierry Henry is not English he even has a statue in his honor at Highbury.

Is Ngolo Kante English voted best player in the EPL by his fellow professionals.

Was JJay Oyibo but they never stop talking about him in the EPL. Was Kanu, Yakubu English or shall we talk of Gabriel, Sana, or Mane & Salah at Liverpool came from the Moon.

Mahrez that Leicester refused to sell is he not Algerian voted best African player in the EPL.

You may need like to be woken up very abruptly from your delusion, KC has not performed in the EPL that's why he is not even in the top 20. Since he left Manchester city his rating has dived. He needs to start performing at Leicester the good thing he is still performing for the SE but in the SE it's a different matter.

As it stands Tammy and Solanke are ahead of him and if they were in the SE there is no guarantee he would have displaced them.

Interesting. But the question is why must he start Kelechi if he already knows his ability? If Kayode is played for only 20 minutes then I know there's an hidden agenda against him because I do not why he invited him in the first and not play him.

Mujtahida:
I beg to disagree Sir. Forumites didn't even discuss this match as such not to talk of larger percentage. What has occupied us here has been the Tammy saga and the argument for /against foreign born players. I doubt if anyone even made any goal prediction in our favour. I dare say nobody did. I remember even laughing and saying that we've been on this foreign born issue because Super Eagles have qualified. There wasn't much expectation.

1 thing we fail to see is that the coach will select players dat he believes can strenghten areas in which his team lacks... M sure rohr wants to succeed, ND he has a very fine record so far. So lets give him d benefit of doubt.
If zidane or guardiola or Mourinho had signed him even if it's from an obscure league, will we be crying or wait to see him perform before we judge d coaches decision?

korlahwarleh:
Yes I meant accepting that Onazi is the vice captain and by implication his leader in the team. Let me ask you, why is it that when a new IG of police is appointed, all serving officers that are his senior will automatically be "retired" by the government?. The reason is that glitches as it pertains to leadership in the system will be eradicated. No matter how humble you say Martins is, there's a limit to how much he can be controlled by Mikel and Onazi, albeit in a national team setting

So, if he was not invited from the time you started talking about him till now, and the present crop of players got the job done, what makes you think that they can't do the job ahead without him?

Ndidi made his Belgian Pro League debut with Genk on 31 January 2015 against Charleroi in a 1–0 away defeat. He played the first 74 minutes of the game, before being substituted for Jarne Vrijsen.[3] He played a full back role in that game before returning to the centre-back position he played at the Nath Boys academy. He displayed a wide range of passing and shooting and began to be deployed as a central midfielder for the rest of the season.

During the Belgian League play-off game against Club Brugge, Ndidi scored a long-range goal, which was named the goal of the season in the Belgian league. After receiving an attempted-clearance outside the penalty box, he lofted the ball smoothly over an opposing player before unleashing a ferocious volley into the top right corner.[4][5] The ball was adjudged to be travelling at over 111 km/h.[6] He scored two more goals before the end of the play-offs including another volley from outside the box against Anderlecht in a 5–2 win. He received the award as the third-best young player in the Belgian league for the 2015–16 season.

Bench warmers association. grin

No 1. Wilfred Ndidi

He made his debut for the Super Eagles on October 8th 2015 prior to that, how many matches did he play for his club?

How many MOTM did he win?

How many goals did he score? grin

How many league titles did he help Genk to win? grin

Below showed he played only 6 matches for the whole season in 2014/2015. Prior to his debut on October 8th 2015, he only played 6 matches.

What was the special thing he did for a lowly club like Genk before he was invited to the national team?

If this was what played out, why are people demanding heaven and earth from others before invitations into the SE? grin

Without national team call he would have continued on the bench. So, it's safe to say some players rode on the back of the Super Eagles to glory. grin
Being a member of a national team boost your stock.
Bros he broke into d first team dat season, how many 18-19yr olds de do dat one, he also scored d goal of d season. ..bros ndidi invitation was well well well well well deserved

TheGoodJoe:
Rohr is a far better manager. He knows more about the game outside tactics. Especially keeping the team together. See how he shielded Akpeyi even when he was about to drop him. Or how he kept Alloy Agu in the coaching crew despite his limitation.

His management of Victor Moses needs a book for coaches to learn how to manage an egotistical player. Even his dropping of Awaziem, Onyekuru and Osimhen because he did not want them in camp and disappointed when they did not make match day squad.

Rohr also reads teams very well. He is the better manager. However, when it comes to tactical set-up and play, Siasia trumps. It is not even a debate.
siasia has only excelled in coaching age grade teams... ND has failed woefully wen it's on d bigger stage against actual senior teams with the super eagles... Is everyone forgetting dat?.. It's just like saying Nigeria is a footballing powerhouse because we have won 5 u-17 world cups, or dat we are like Brazil since Brazil has 5 actual world cup... Rohr is still better in my opinion
