Aigbofa: Ridiculous post. If Deltans want to resurrect Amini and Sunday Osunbo to lead them how does it concern Yoruba? We can only join the rest of the sane world in wondering if some people made a pact with suffering. Pls kindly direct your anger to Aregbesola. Our own Ibori performed extremely well during his reign |

Politics › Ibori: Why Are The Afonjas Crying More Than The Bereaved? by LudaChriz(op): 3:37pm On Feb 05, 2017 |
I have noticed with utmost dismay the kind of hatred the afonjas have for James Ibori. While the Deltans are giving him a warm welcome, the afonjas in osun are busy looking for every avenue to tarnish & rubbish his image. My question is, what is their own? Funny enough, this set of people that are castigating Ibori are the ones that will defend Tinubu with there last blood. Ask them, they will tell you is because they don't support corruption. So Tinubu that you are all following sheepishly is a saint?
Afonjas should leave the Niger Deltans alone! Ibori is our illustrious son!

TonyeBarcanista: Arresting him won't solve a thing. The appropriate thing to do is to allow him hold his protest while providing security to check activities of hoodlums.
NB: I am not for or against his protest, this is because I consider it to lack objective and focus. However, I wish them well By lacking objective and focus u mean? We are protesting against the hardship in the land, is that not objective enough? You are indeed a dummy.... I think you are being over hyped on Nairaland. |

Computers › Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by LudaChriz(m): 11:56pm On Jan 21, 2017 |
sotall: Use the following guidelines to help you in buying a used laptop. 1)Go to system properties and check for the model of the system, processor type and speed as well as if the operating system is activated. Also check for the size of the RAM in this menu. The larger the RAM size, the better for your computer and more expensive the laptop will be. In making your choice, run from AMD laptops most especially because it is a used one.
2)Open notepad and press every key on the keyboard for efficiency, accuracy and response. watch out for keys that respond multiple times when pressed once as well as those that dont respond once.
3) Test the sound of the laptop if it is audible. Also watch out for faulty/damaged speakers that makes unpleasant noise when playing music. Use an ear piece to test if the audio jack is working. Also test all the USB ports of the laptop if they recognize external devices such as phones. 4) Insert a memory card reader into its slot and check if it is working. 5) while doing all the above, use your palm or its back to feel round the body of the laptop for temperature. Observe if any area is abnormally hot. if it is, drop it. 6) Test the DVD/CD ROM with a disc if if it is working. play both an audio and a DVD (if the laptop has that spec) disc on it. Ensure it is working and not making unnecessary noise like a car with a faulty gear. 7)check device manager to ensure all hardware components are driven. 8 ) connect the laptop to wifi or portable hotspot to ensure the network adapter is working. 9) test the camera (if it has) and see if it is working. 10) Now check the size of the hard drive. The larger the size of the hard drive, the more the files it can store for you. if you intend using the laptop to do heavy downloads of movies, then go for 320gb or higher hard drive size. Also, sufficient space on your hard drive in addition to a good RAM size helps your laptop run smoothly. 11) Check if the battery life is good. Go for atleast two hours hours battery back up. Plug in the charger and move your mouse pointer over the battery icon on the screen. Observe if you can see 'plugged in,charging'. if true, then note the percentage of the battery. now continue watching and observe that the battery is increasing. let it increase like 5 percent. 12|)if the laptop has Bluetooth, check if it is working. 13) check for any physical damage on the body of the laptop. move the hinges to and fro and see if the display of the screen shakes in response. if you notice any shaking, then the laptop has issues. if all these are ok and the laptop meets your budget, go for it. if you are in Lagos and you are coming to computer village and need someone to guide you, call me I really appreciate this. Thanks so much |

QuotaSystem: Nicely laid out in facts and figures.
It is absolutely nauseating to hear the rotten, corrupt, impunity laden and totally misdirected party that looted Nigeria's resources like dollars were going out of fashion, try to lay blame on the ruling party and attempt to fool Nigerians that they are a possible alternative in 2019.
Just imagine the hundreds of billions that were mismanaged and looted, that should have been used to diversify our sources of revenue. They handed over a country primed to implode economically by ensuring that we were sitting ducks when the oil prices crashed.
PDP can never again be, and never will be an option.

Beress: I think APC needs to publicly apologise to GEJ for the most uncivilized, callous and inhuman way they criticised against him while he was the President. What is happening now is no longer ordinary! While GEJ was there, APC, through their e-thugs used every available opportunity to molest him, the NgeneUkwunes' on Nairaland registered thousands of monikers just to dehumanise GEJ. Now is the pay back time for them. Thunder blow all zombies and their dullard president |
