Health / Doctors In The House Please I Need Your Advice On This X-ray Result by LudaChriz(m): 10:47pm On Sep 12, 2023
A friend complained to a Dr. about pains in his back just below the left rib and burning sensation in the legs.... the legs become chilly at times. The Dr. recommended an X-RAY in the back and the following result was given. He met another Dr. with the result who then prescribed some drugs. Unfortunately, he could not met the particular Dr. that recommended the X-ray. That's the problem with government hospital.

Pls who can recommend a better treatment for this. Thanks to all the Doctors in the house

Politics / Igbo APC Group Begs Sanwo-Olu To Release N26 Million For Pro-Tinubu Rally In Lag by LudaChriz(m): 10:32am On Oct 06, 2022
An Igbo group of the All Progressives Congress is soliciting N26 million from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to organise a rally to rally support for Bola Tinubu as the ruling party’s presidential candidate.

In a letter seen by Peoples Gazette, the Ndigbo group asserted that “a minimum of four thousand five hundred people with PVCs who are members (of) our great party APC of Igbo extraction in Lagos” would attend the rally scheduled to be held at Blue Roof hall in Ikeja.

“Therefore, with this number of people, we hereby present to you a very modest budget of approximately twenty-six million four hundred thousand naira (26,400,000.00) only,” added the letter addressed to Joe Igbokwe, a special adviser to the Lagos governor on drainage and water resources.

A breakdown of the fund comprises N4.5 million for branded caps, N8.4 million for mobilisation, N1.3 million for the venue, N1.3 million for entertainment, N270,000 for music, N100,000 for garden eggs and kola and so forth.

Organisers of the rally projected that 4,500 Igbo members would participate in the rally.

They include Nd’Igbo in APC Lagos covering the executives and leaders in the 57 LGAs and LCDAs, Ohaneze executives in all LGAs, Igbo-speaking community executives, executives of the 58 major markets in Lagos state and executives of over 100 town unions in Lagos.

In January, the London-based Financial Times put the cost of Nigeria’s presidential election at $2 billion, a sum that the politician would loot the nation’s treasury to recover if elected.

“It takes an estimated $2 billion to get a president elected. Those who pay will expect to be paid back,” the newspaper wrote.

I don't understand how this month salary was paid by FG. Some persons in UNIBEN have revyand some have not or is it my bank First bank that is causing the delays.

The damage this dreaded APC govt has done to the university system is immeasurable.

NASU and SSANU called off their strike on the 24th of August (meaning they work for one week in August) but no salary has been paid yet for that month or week if they wish to pay by week. Are they saying the one week work done after months of starvation is going to be free work? Which type of heart does these people in govt has? It is just so unfortunate.

May it never be well with the generation of anybody that will vote for APC in next year's Presidential election

Alerted few minutes ago. September salary only. MOUAU!

This is so unfair. I stand with ASUU now. This government is wicked and insensitive. Only ASUU understands this government well.

Unfortunately for most of us, if that one month salary comes we will not even see it due to accumulated loan interest payment. Is only God that will judge Buhari, Ngige and Adamu Adamu

You’re completely dumb. Go to school, you people will refuse. This extrapolation shows great strength for Tinubu & Atiku even before the guns are fired for the political race.

Conversely, it is very bad news for you online fold of Obi. If he’s already running very much behind on the online turf where most of your ‘votes’ reside, one wonders how so badly your Obi candidate will perform on ground. I’m laughing in Isikwuato dialect!

You're the complete daft here. This simply shows how people searched for the candidates in google and where they searched from. I have searched for Tinubu more than 50 times over his drug deals. It does not mean he's my candidate

there's agreement between the minister SSANU, nasu and naat that whatever the outcome they won't be screwed so chill

What about last month salary that you worked for at least
Career / Re: Has Any Federal Civil Servant Received The New Minimum Wage? by LudaChriz(m): 3:53pm On Sep 06, 2022
Finally, Adamu Adamu has carried SSANU, NASU and NAAT handicap. After tricking them to call off strike with the promise that they will be paid for that month (last month August) if they call off before 24th of the month which they did. He also promise to pay them the arrears in 2 tranches...Today is 6th, yet no last month salary which they actually worked for at least for one week, neither have they been paid the arrears.

The same Adamu has now reconstitued another committee to look into the Briggs committee report on salary increment and also review the govt position on no-work no-pay.

Possible outcomes:
1. ASUU members will definitely get a pay rise higher than what SSANU, NASU and NAAT has accepted.

2. ASUU members will be paid at least 50% of the withheld salaries on the basis that they will do backlog of works while non-academics will get nothing as they are mere civil servants.

ASUU is truly a union of intellectuals

Guys, I need your kind advice

I presently work with a State govt with my B.Sc. (Level cool awaiting my Level 9 letter. I now have Masters in Social Work which is not a requisite in the State for promotion.

Recently, a FG job I applied for is currently coming to light. ( I know there is embargo but there is a waiver for this position).

My question is, if the FG job comes through, will you advice I leave the State govt job?

Will my Masters be considered? If yes, what level will I be placed and how much is the salary?

Other information(s) to guide this decision of mine will be appreciated. Thanks

No advice will be given until you tell us how you got the link for the federal government job tongue tongue
