Nnem don't know the method oo, it was don at teaching hospital, all I know is that they took him in and brot him out wit gloss Round the tips. just called the doc and he said it's supposed to fall out within two weeks so will take him to hospital tomorrow.

Please experienced mama's, my lo was circircumcised on 12th July, last 3days I started seeing sometin like a rope around d site, tort whateva was used should have gone out by now. Was using vasVaseline on it since den till now, please don't jump And pass. What do we do?

I'm not washing yet. My momma does that and she washes with hand but when i start washing, imma use the machine. My machine has favourite/delicate/baby care settings. I use Persil for my baby clothes. I think them Ariel and Sunlight are too harsh. For baby milk, I bought NAN.

The mama that asked if Lochia is supposed to last for 6weeks, ngbo is it true? My bleeding stopped yesterday and its just 12days since i put to bed.

Are you still taking peppersoup with lots of Uda? Cos uda washes all the washables. Besides in some persons it can come out for like a month sef so I read. It's suppose to be reducing and not gushing out. Maybe, as you breastfeed, the uterus contracts.

Stopped taking the pepper soup. Do you adevice in should continue?

Giddyperson did you really ignore your prenatals and everything turned out great? Cos I have been ignoring mine, the severe MS did not help matters too and my system just doesn't seem to agree with the tabs, I have prenatals, pregnacare and the ones I was given at the hospital, each time I swallow any of them, I seem to have relapse into MS, can't even explain it. So I kuku quit but I have been shit scared if everything is gonna turn out OK. I have been praying that it works out well cos it seems praying is easier than swallowing the meds. I have even been too afraid to ask on here. I be no wan hear Wetin go cut my liver but I am bracing it up today. I have been eating a lot of garden egg leaves and ugba too. Ugba builds blood as much as garden egg leaves.

Please just try all you can to take your prenatals, i was in your shoes, i hate drugs, the thought of it gives me Goose pimples. I virtually stopped. Took once in a while wen i feel guilty or wen i get scolded, i always pray God see me tru nd make my son healthy, He answered me; YES, But wen my baby came out the water(guess the fluid) was dirty according to them,I also heard the Chief asking the nurse to suck Lo well that he drank so much of the fluid. Babe I felt guilty, cos i remember being told prenatels cleanses baby in the womb. Pleare for the sake of that Treasure in you, Take your drugs

As for the boobs, d only idea I have is to express it while bathing and use warm towel to massage while expressing. When mine was engorged I didn't express sha cuz mil kept saying endure. The next day Zizi sucked the two boobi flat!

Sooo cute! For the breastfeeding, clean your tips with cotton wool and olive oil. Then look for someone to help you draw out the tips, maybe Oga can help. Make sure you are hydrated. Drink lots of oats and milk. If you are not worried about adding weight, then drink lots of PAP with milk and peppersoup too. Basically be on a liquid/semi liquid diet. It shall end in praise.

The worst is that I don't even take pap. God will help us

For the breast, it's normal for your breast to feel engorged on the third day. Use warm water to massage it. You can apply olive oil or coconut oil on your nipple and gently pull it out. You can also use these cheap manual breast pump to bring it out.
You can use your index and middle fingers to flatten the nipple so he can grasp it but make sure d areola enters the mouth especially the one behind the nipple then squeeze in breast milk in his mouth to entice him to suck.
Don't relent in putting the baby to breast. He's learning to latch on and will soon master it.

Please I have a very big problem, who do I run to. it's 3days now and I have not been able to Nurse Lo, have been trying to put him to d breast on Sunday he managed to latch on properly nd sucked so hard, it was painful but I let him continue, since Monday till dis morning my breast has grown double its size, so engorged and painful. I hav pressed d nipple and saw little milk, but this boy will no longer latch on properly, My nipples has refused to come out he tries nd fells. Am just in pains I don't kniw wat to do again. Please you guys are al I have now.

it was like a surprise. Went to my normal ante-natal on Friday, after seeing d doc he said I was due oo. Hope am ready. They sent me for scan, me I carry my bag they go house said by Monday or Tuesday I will do d scan against my next ante-natal being Friday. But as God would have it, i started having mild cramps, Braxton hicks I guess. I went to bed, woke up serverslly to wee-wee. Around 3:20am Sat i woke up with a sharp pain like somtin was screwing nd piercing my Vjay, i rushed To d toilet to wee only to stand up to see blood, i called DH, asked him to boil water so I bath, then the real tin started. it became so unbearable, i started timing d contractions nd it was coming 2mins apart, lasting for about 35secs I would dance, pray, chaiI.
I have always known contractions come 10mins apart, so i felt i would be sent bak if i go to d hospital, i decided to wait it out till morning but men I couldn't take it oo. Told Oga to pls take me to the hospital. We got Der some mins past 4am. Wen they asked if i Was a FTM, nd i said yes one of d nurses said De should take me to d ward nd give me bed, that FTM Mums can disturb for africa over notin, but the other was like I shoukd get pad so she check me. The woman did VE, she didn't even tell me how many Cm I was, rather asked me to go bring my hospital tins. Was asked to UnCloth nd climb up oo, God i was like already? Was asked to push in d next contraction, Pushing was anoda one, I pushed all I could nd d Woman said I was playing, i started crying, the next contraction i pushed again noting. Then the 3rd time I pushed, my first fruit came forth with a cut, around 4:45 weighing 3.8kg. I was sutureD nd cleaned up. MY journey of 9 months ENDED IN PRAISE. God blessed me with a Son, he answered my prayers nd fulfilled his promise to me. I praise him nd I call him miracle working God. Yahwe
