Politics / Opinion: If Women Led, The World Would Have Been A Better Place. by Luminee(f): 8:42am On Nov 27, 2018
What is your opinion?

Some men believe that the place of a woman is not in the area of governance as it is always said that "It is a man's world", others would say "women are too emotional and thus will fail in decision making".

Looking back into history, it is very obvious that men counterpart hasn't done much in terms of actualizing the Utopia humanity crave for. Perhaps if women were in the place of authority, things would have been a lot different for all.

Politics / Re: Nairalanders, How Can We Improve Nigeria As Citizens? by Luminee(f): 4:02am On Nov 25, 2018
CodeTemplar:
How did the white man conquer us with our backward ways? Simple. The Jesus factor.
Until there is Jesus there will be crisis.

If a white-man was to come back for more slaves today we will probably sink the ship with overloading immediately it lands. We haven't fully imbibed the Jesus influence before going back to our gods secretly and that is reflecting in all facets of the society today.

Everyday the problem in Nigeria is becoming worse. We can not just allow this to happen as citizens of Nigeria. Many of us contribute to this problem everyday and we cannot say that we are not part of the problem. If the government refuses to fix Nigeria, we as the people most find some way. We must band together to find a solution.

Let us work together and find a solution.

I ask you Nigerians, how can we improve Nigeria?

OP it is quite obvious that you are passionate about Nigeria. The problems we face today is as a result of our yesterday as we failed to realise that no one would fix us unless we fix ourselves.

Iamdazzle:

The original indians were black. Inbreeding brought about albinism and eventually led to their present lighter complexion.

As a result of inbreeding, the lighter population began to outnumber the original darker number and subjected them to second place. Perhaps this sentinel tribe is what's left of the original people and they must have fought their way to remaining alive and isolated.

I saw a documentary on this sometime last year.

Yra, true of the indians. Australia too, the black inhabitants were massively killed

Nah, don't tell me it's hot rain when I know it's urine.

Fight or flight? That was his second time there.

You really should look up the exact meaning of fight or flight and try relating it to the true events when you're all settled.

When you do hun, you'll realize using that phrase in this situation is wholly out of context.

Naa.. I know you feel the man was harmless, right. Well to those people he really was a threat of some kind to them, the more reason he was attacked the first time.

At every instance, these people have to make decisions that involved fight or flight.

He wasn't killed for preaching cos they most likely could not understand each other.

Lack of respect for others' culture killed him.

Where was 'sane' mentioned in my comments?

I don't know how you came about that though but anyone acting or has acted "subhuman" is exactly that. Not fit to be called a human but SAVAGE. Be they; Black, White, Blue, Green.....doesn't matter.

The word "sane" came up as a somewhat opposite to savage. You don't have to mention it, perhaps if you knew the root origin of the word savage, then you'll understand my point.

Don't forget that it is also human instict to make decisions between fight or flight in a situation where they feel threatened

They are not savages? What do you call someone who kills another like him? in the cruelest manner? No right thinking human does that. They could have very well rejected him than kill him (expected of any non-savage)

And oh, my use of savage was derived from the standard definition (you should look that up if you haven't), not what the "whiteman" called "blacks".

And yes, they acted sub-human by that single action, hence they should rightly be referred to as SAVAGES

Bye kiss

Easy Queen, we are not Fighting and I know well the meaning of Savages. Who wrote the book you checked for the definition of savages? Europeans are by your definition Savages too
