Religion / Will Everyone Hear The Trumpet Sound Of God? by Luminee(f): 11:49am On Jul 22, 2018
Does the Bible explicitly say that certain people would hear the sound of the trumpet at the last day, what's your view?

I strongly believe and can prove that only the Saints or the righteous ones would hear the trumpet sound as opposed to the popular belief that all will hear it.

Health / Re: Help. The Vitiligo Spreading On My Lips Is Making Me Suicidal (pics) by Luminee(f): 9:03pm On Jul 05, 2018
Japhet04:
cry I noticed the symptoms of Vitiligo on my lips around August last year..At first it was just a small patch but subsequently it began to spread to other parts of my lip and also outside the lower lip.

I get questions everyday asking me why my lips is like that... Some assume I got burnt by acid or fire... I'm a very confident guy so I don't really allow the insults and tantrums get to me..at least I try to hide it as much as I can.. But of recent it is becoming too much and I've told myself that if the spreading continues I would have no other option than to end my life because I cannot imagine living a life of stigma, pity and neglect.. I really can't cry

I have met severally with dermatologists and have bought several creams and drugs but all to no avail.. The spreading did not still stop.. Not to talk of repigmenting.

This has affected my social life in many ways, I can't boldly walk up to strangers anymore because I always have this feeling that they are looking at my lips.. I no longer have female friends and I'm always withdrawn inside my shell because of it... My self esteem is down to zero. The mere thought that I will live with this forever and it will never stop spreading has made me suicidal.

I got a camouflage tattoo but it wasn't effective upon all the pain I passed through.. Now the substance I use to cope with it is hair dye which I apply before going for my law classes in the morning ... I still wonder how I will be able to practice law with this kind of lips. cry

Please nairalanders help me with any advice that might be helpful to save a brother.

I don't know how you feel but talking about suicide is just way out of line. I am sure you still have families that loves you just the way you are or "becoming".

It is on this nairaland we all saw a picture of a girl with chronic vitiligo and she even wore bikini to show it off, if a lady can live with it and become a model, my guy you better focus on other aspects of life and don't kill yourself.

Otedola bridge, Plateau killing is enough for us. Mourning for deaths that could have been avoided, pls don't add to the count.

Travel / Re: Lagos Airport: Immigration Imposes $90 Visa-on-arrival Charge On Foreigners by Luminee(f): 6:27pm On Jun 27, 2018
erico2k2:

You are not meant to go to the Embassy for visa.I know Agents would steer you to this direction cos of what they get.
Look us Nigerians are our own worse friends. If you go to Dubai to buy good even though ur goods is 1x20 container all the agents will steer you to do air cargo cos of what they stand to gain rather than do sea freight in a container which is far way cheaper. only few who are honest will do this. Sometimes it pays to do things direct.Im not saying you did not, Im just speaking in general terms.

First off, I am not my own enemy and I wasn't steered by any agent, I travelled to work as an expert for a company based in TZ
Travel / Re: Lagos Airport: Immigration Imposes $90 Visa-on-arrival Charge On Foreigners by Luminee(f): 8:49am On Jun 27, 2018
erico2k2:

yes but what was the reason given for you to pay $100? cos you do that if you have a USA issued passport.
If you going from Nigeria you do not need to go to the embassy, just buy tkt and go, unless your agent told you different.

My brother, the embassy is there for a reason. I travelled 2015 and then it was better you get your visa to avoid any issues that might arise, even though people were saying TZ is visa on arrival. The question should be why would the embassy in Abuja still collect fees for Visa, if it is not necessary?
Food / Re: I'm Frustrated! This Egwusi Soup That I Prepared Quarrels With Water. Help! by Luminee(f): 11:39pm On Jun 25, 2018
FraNKAPP:
I'm frustrated. This is the third time that I'm facing this issue. I don't know what I did to my village people.

Why is it that anytime I cook Egwusi soup, the soup will divide itself into two? The egwusi/vegetables/ingredients will go one side and the water will go the other side. Out of frustrations, I have finished the meat and I'm about to get rid of the soup now. I don't know what else to do. I'm frustrated.

Please, my people, I need your help urgently. How can I make a good Egwusi soup that the ingredients doesn't quarrel with the water? If you have the step-by-step guide on how to make a good Egwusi soup, please send it to me because that's my favourite soup. Make me, *Frank Umeadi* happy, please.

Note: This does not mean that I'm not a good husband material o. I'm just preparing myself and I believe that no time is late.

Thank you so much as I await your positive response.

My brother forget that thing.. I travelled to Tanzania and at the point of entry, I was asked to pay $100 after I had already paid 25k business visa fee at the embassy in Abuja.

Abeg let them collect money if it would at least be used to permanently fix the periodic seizures of electricity in our airport.. angry

Politics / Re: Meaning Of Buharism By Wikipedia. by Luminee(f): 7:03am On Jun 22, 2018
LarryBee1k:
Buharism is a term rooted in the politics of Nigeria , referring to the economic principles and the political ideology of military lead government of Nigeria headed by General

Muhammadu Buhari from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985 . The government introduced War Against Indiscipline(WAI) [1] At its root, Buharism represented a return to harsh right wing military dictatorship after 4 years of civil rule in Nigeria, 1979-1983.

Economic Theory

Buharism rejected the dominant approach of the Washington Consensus , rather holding that for a crisis-wrecked country to successfully improve its balance of payments through
devaluation , there must first exist a condition that the price of every country's export is denominated in its own currency.

As such a condition did not exist, Buharism asserted that, for any country that Washington Consensus conditions do not exist clearly enough, there are alternate and superior approaches to solving the problem of its economic crisis .

Therefore, instead of applying devaluation to get the then crisis-wrecked economy of Nigeria back on track, Buharism rather employed a policy of curbing imports of goods deemed unnecessary, curtailing oil theft and improving exports through a counter trade policy of bartering seized illegally bunkered crude oil for needful goods like machinery, enabling it to export above its OPEC quota.

You make it sound as if there aren't thousands of whites in Africa already, how many has reported a case of whites being raped as soon as they step into any African country.

Welcome you, why? Even if this is your first time going to Uganda, why is it necessary that we roll down a red carpet for your grand entry?

Everyone is welcome to visit any African countries, you are free to feel at home.
