Well I see nothing wrong with coming down to Nigeria for the AC if that's what it'll take. Afterall, reimbursement will be made. Get the job, suspend masters! My worry is for those on the nlng scholarship. Nlng might not want to risk you leaving a Degree they've paid for already. |
Lewinskee: Going from the previous thread, during the last general recruitment, 464 people participated in the AC. They were told only 100 people were needed, out of which 10% must be Bonny indigenes. Now, going with the above statistics and also considering the fact that Nlng has dissolved their Lagos branch I believe the logic proposed earlier that 200 will be chosen from 300, is inherently flawed. If anything, the number is likely going to reduce. 60 maybe??Lagos wasn't a branch, it was their HQ and it certainly wasn't dissolved, they changed location. Guess that's why there are three offices in Ph now. Our morale seems to be dwindling thanks to the wait. |
DPlacement: Keep calm and use hand sanitizers.Regular washing (hands & body) is actually a much better option |
WizardofOz1: Do u remember who it was??Aniffy4eva |
stacydual: I told you guys earlier this is LNG not other Nigerian companies. They won't do things just the way Nigerians think things are done normally. These guys will go extra mile to get the best out of the best. And to disqualify people for some good HR-Reasons known to and by them only.Great posts from you so far on this thread. But honestly, i don't think the bolded was called for Lets be proud of our own ok, afterall we're all Nigerians (I think) |
denass16: P.S heard from an insider that only 300 would advance to the next stage out of which 200 would be selected. Wish us all luck artmedia: Hey Bro!Finding it hard to believe these numbers. Anyway, great attempt at demystifying ACs guys. I can almost 'not' recognise the thread anynmore |
airsaylongcon: Has anyone here been at an Assessment Centre before? I have attended one for a bank. The experience was eye opening as I wasn't even expecting what I was confronted with. So can we share our experiences?Come on guys...bite the bait |
Lol! @princeofparis, great sense of humour you've got there. Hilarious disclaimer too. Thanks for the links bro |
I really wish others would stick around too, we still have lots to learn and share. Sadly, the bond isn't as strong as that of 2007 Anyway, nice one Sleeksylvia, your cakes look great by the way. |
scarletdp: buh for real.. this thread is damn too boring... kai.. but wait oooo where were all ds ppl that r commenting every second now.. PrinceofParis and co... so u were all observing from d sidelines, immediately results showed and u were successful, u hopped into the game... well not a bad tin tho... Wish dey could jst recruit us all remaining bt d sad truth is more souls would still fall... kai... after getting this close.... Anyways whats the worst that can happen? You don't get a job u already dont have....God knows bestI believe PrinceOfParis made one of the most useful posts on the thread even before results were released. Plus yeah, the thread has lost its spark |
Hello Dplacement, thanks for basically hanging out with us for the past seven months. My entries: a) What are the. essential features of an "Nlng person" b) What do you think stood you out at the interview, group session & presentation modules of the AC c) Will we be questioned according to our disciplines or as a business student, I should expect technical stuff. Thanks & all the best. @auroraborealis,Not been able to access my nairaland email, will reply u when I can. cheers |
Boy oh boy! It sure took a lot of nerves to open that mail. Thank you Lord. We're marching on to the next stage |
Y'all are making my head spin. Lol... Happy Holidays |
auroraborealis: How did you arrive at this, pal?Arrive at the quota ish? well a colleague on a secondment to nlng confirmed it. And if your question was how I arrived at Lagos, well saw a handful of them on my attendance spreadsheet. |
Seeing that the quota system has been fully embedded in this recruitment, it makes me wonder what state is the most competitive. I'll say Lagos maybe |
auroraborealis: Where's Lumi_NG?Oh wow...thanks a bunch auroraborealis. Had no idea anyone noticed me up here Anyway, i kinda lost steam after the wipeout, plus i work in one of the so called "big four" so work load/hours could be quite daunting All the same, i'm still here. Thanks |
Oya bestestgeh, report let's commence our own. Lol... |
