It's all about the Skyrim, brah! https://gametecknow.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Elder-Scrolls-V-Skyrim-2135.jpg |
AdeizaSama:I don't about where in abuja but there is a site called Omagames.com where I buy most of my games. They have games for pretty much all the systems. If they don't have the game you want on their site you can have them order it for specially at no extra cost (I have done this a couple times and the price was similar to the rest). |
No probs. ![]() And the MTN thing you mentioned is awesome and depressing at the same time. I hope the fear of being left behind gingers the competition to step up. |
AdeizaSama:Yeah people are me telling it rocks. That said it is my second most anticipated game. My first is Skyrim (it just looks so great). And yeah, lol about the T**s thing. It's like that on every forum I go to. |
AdeizaSama:Do have the newest one? The one that just came out? https://cdn1.gamepro.com/box/box_164657-hd.jpg This one? ^ |
Bawss1:Actually from what I understand LA Noire isn't really a sandbox game. It is supposedly quite bit more structured and linear than your typical Rockstar game (it's actually developed by Team Bondi). Edit: Snaps! Somebody beat me to it. Anyway, I kind of agree about GTA style sandbox games. Too random. The kind of sandbox I like is the Fallout 3 kind of sandbox RPG with strong writing. I hope Skyrim lives to my expectations and has a great story as well as being a great game. |
goggs:Actually, I think you mean mbps. No one at a consumer level in Nigeria gets anything close to 2 gbps. No one. Edit: I see someone has already made my point. |
When I get some cash I am going to get Deus Ex: Human Revolution. |
Interesting list. Site is cool I think. |
Half Life 2 (orange box) on Xbox360 Batman: Arkham Asylum on PS3 |
As a gamer I don't like really tough single player games (although I love a challenging multiplayer bout as much as the next guy). I don't know why this is. Actually, I think it's because I like fighting opponents with a human level tactics, strategy and general intelligence as opposed to scripted AI (though there are some exceptions to this rule). I think that is why I prefer fighting humanoid characters to animalistic or amorphous creatures. |
I know someone has mentioned somewhere that MTN is also laying fibre across the country but this is the first time I am hearing MTN say it themselves. More below: http://www.mtnonline.com/about-mtn/corporate-information Scroll to the bottom of the link to see the quote below. In addition, MTN also embarked on the deployment of fibre optic cables across the country to boost the transmission capacity on its network and as at October 2010, a total of 8,052 kilometres had been covered. This makes it the longest Fibre-optic cable ever laid in Africa and definitely one of the most modern. |

Plus, I am sure I have checked google in the past but didn't get the satisfactory information. Also, invasion? |
The normal pepper we use to cook stew The Yam we eat The brown kidney beans we use to beans I am asking in case I go outside and I am looking for these ingredients to cook. Any help would be appreciated. |

Bawss1:All right, lets do it then. |
I have heard of Asura's Wrath. The visual Style is nice. My number on game for this year The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Haven't been this hyped for a game in a while. Here are some screens: https://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/116/1162158/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-20110415033053299.jpg https://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/116/1162158/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-20110415033040503.jpg https://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/116/1162158/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-20110415033055955.jpg https://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/116/1162158/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-20110415033045237.jpg |
Bawss1:I think it is mainly this forum or maybe it is a problem with the majority of gamers in Nigeria. We really need a place Nigerian gamers can come and have great discussions. There are lots of potentially great PS3 games coming in rest of this year like Uncharted 3, Twisted Metal and Infamous 2 not to mention highly anticipated multiplatform titles like Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, LA Noire and others. |
Please. It would be great if a separate forum for games sales and trade ins was made. Enough of "PS3 for 2kobo" and other such threads. Let this forum be for legitimate game discussions (which at the moment are currently being swamped by stock market transactions). |
While the nigerian market is negligible for game companies, I would not like that to be always the case. However, because the rampant piracy deluging our entertainment industry, it seems that may be the case for a while. Hopefully things will get better in future. |
I use MTN and IPNX both are pretty decent by Nigerian standards but I prefer IPNX. By world standards they suck though. Three things need to be improved drastically. Speed, reliability and cost effectiveness. |
Actually that is just for the borders. It is 8am to 5pm for driving within the country. At least, I think that is what this article says. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/04/fg-closes-borders/ |
I thought I heard from 8am to 5pm but I am not sure. |
Thanks |
I am looking for the name of a song and the artist. The lyrics go something like this: "And the ladies say, ooh who do this beat. It's the kind of jam keeping me up on my feet, " That all I can remember clearly (I am not sure if I even got that right. |
Kotor probably. |
Glo needs to get their act together. |
Any new news on this? |
The series I am watching are: The Mentalist Lie to me Chuck Big Bang Theory (trying to start following it) 30 rock (sometimes) The Event No Ordinary Family (surprisingly good super hero series) Shining Inheritance/Brilliant Legacy (on AIT). |
I can't seem to remember what it is called. |
Bossman:Yeah it is available in place like Niger but no Nigeria. |
