The NDDC chief executive officer seized the opportunity to move a motion for the endorsement of President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term, stressing that the President had demonstrated uncommon love for Akwa Ibom State, particularly in terms of appointments.

Hmmmm, our youth should note this, they endorse Buhari for a second term because the president has demonstrated his love for their son through appointment not development of the zone. The president should not be praise here because if i am not wrong, the appointment of their son is legal i.e federal character not favour. God will bless Obong Attah and Godswill Akpabio for developing Akwa Ibom. The question is what has Nsima Ekere done for Akwa Ibom people with his appoint as Nddc chairman nothing, election is approaching they are out to shed blood of Akwa Ibom youth whose the neglect . He was honour with gun and matchet, that signify violent. Do or die election is here we should all get ready. Akwa Ibom youth be warn they are not worth dieing for.

I don't think a special "National Prayer" day or week is what we need in this country. Yes, we need prayer, but everyone (people and government) needs to change their perception about this country. A politician today will be exposing the secret of another politician in another party, but becomes an angel automatically while they're in the same party (what a shame!).

If prayer is what all we need, Nigeria, as "religious" as we are, should be among the best countries in the world.

My brother you have said it all. Senator Ita Enang is the case study here when he was in the red chamber, i used to admire him because of his vocal speech about niger delta issue but now he has gotten what he want in the APC government he is silent as river niger. Though am a christian, i will like to emphasize that what we need here is love not prayer. This people called men of God always have an opportunity to tell this leader truth but because of their selfish interest they will hide the truth rather preach offering and tithe. A time is coming when this country will not accommodate both poor and rich because of imbalance in the system. Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb. Men of God continue to build structure for the masses to go in and pray with empty stomach.

1. 1 Dollars was 197, now 500
2. A bag of rice 7500, now 23500
3. A litre of fuel 87, now 145
4. Flight ticket within the county 16000, now 31500
and there was no recession in the country. Kindly not hate GEJ because he is from minority group, he try his best compare to general buhari with coconut head. In life, you can't give what you don't have. GEJ is our son, he make us proud, we love him.

What bill and IGP are you talking about, bill to stop this guys from stealing? They deserve this kind of punishment. Just imagine last week i parked my car infront of my compound they came and remove my battery. I was not strong financially, i had to cough #27000 to get a new battery in this hard economy. This guys deserve to be kill, i dont steal i hustle to earn a living daily. They have no excuse to steal.

Good write up, graduate of nowadays carry certificate on their head as if anyone care about what they obtain in school. The earlier they realized that no one cares, the better for them to dust their bumbum and look for something that will help them pay their bill. Stop looking for white collar job when the black is not even there.

Oron people are very intelligent ,and they have a great potential if given the oportunity. They are also very industrious.They'e always been travellers. They travel far and wide to make money . I have great understanding of human behavioural patterns and I know this fact very well. It's a shame that Oron does not have the independence to exert it's force. in fact I see similarities between anambra igbo people and Oron people .They are proud people .they also have elements of evil in them like pride,arrogance,greed,jealousy etc just like igbo people . and all of these can be a little of an impediment to growth because others would do all they can to weigh you down for fear of being oppressed if you gain power. That is why an igbo person will not be elected president of Nigeria and that's why the Akwa ibom people are afraid of Oron governor.
In order words ,Oron people are their own worst enemy just as igbo people are their own worst enemy.

Thank you for that observation. I have an encounter with one of them, they are proud people that keep them backward in Akwa Ibom. I prefer to do business with an annang man.
