https://www.nairaland.com/3053069/general-guide-australian-permanent-resident if one meets the required points(60pts). is it automatic one will get the visa. can i get the visa in 6 months if I start the processing now? I'm still weighing my options. I got an offer for a two yr master of architecture prog. My occupation is listed on the SOL list. but I'm thinking the accessing body (AACA) of my occupation might make too many requirements or even need me to write exams when assessing me. |

hello house, I obtained and submitted form A today at a first bank branch in Lagos to make payment for my deposit fees. it was after I left the bank that i remembered there was no part where I fill my account details on the form. My initial deposit fees is in my bank account but they didn't request for my account details. i have since been wondering how payment will be made since they dont have my account details? There was a part where I filled in my phone number on the form. Are they going to contact me on phone and request for my account details at the point of processing? Or Should I go back to the bank and complain? Answers pls. Tnx. |

English language is not really compulsory if you can get exemption letter from your school. pls help me check if architecture is on the SOL list. I hope to start my master of architecture program in oz next year. I hold a bachelor degree in architecture. I have plans to stay in oz after my program... get pr and go ahead to become a licensed architect in Australia. |

State Sponsorship takes a long time so you have to consider whether doing the masters will be worth it if you are going for pr. Take sometime to understand the PR process before embarking on a regretful journey.

bligs: Pay for your semester fee as well as OSHC as stated on your offer letter in order to get eCOE. Documents required are certified copy of eCOE, B.sc cert, passport data page, test of English, yellow card, transcripts etc You open an immi account, upload your docs & pay for the visa fee using a dollar master card budget 180k for that due to the current exchange rate, proceed to teleperformance (with #7100 present charges) for your biometrics. If the docs you upload ain't sufficient, you will be contacted for additional docs. thank you for this information. I want to pay my school fees too and apply for visa. however, I want to ask some questions. 1) My course will start next feb. when is the best time to apply for visa? 2) I've been reading on this thread that form A is not currently available in Nigerian banks. How true is that? if true, how else do i pay my school fees? 3) The ielts(english test) result I have is that of the academic module. Can that be accepted in lieu of the general module when I'm applying for visa? 4) What is the minimum balance I should have in my account before I can b issued a study visa. cc bellong WestAfrican Solitin40 |

Solitin40: form A is way of paying school fees using CBN,but the processing will take place in the bank of your choice. You will be charged at the official rate. thank you. Is the form A the cheapest? Does that mean i will b charged more if im not using the form A. 1AUD equals about 240 naira as at today's exchange rate. |

Arnoldfish: I second you. I bet most ppl don't know who an Architect is. You all think architecture is just about drawing buildings so you equate then with draughtsman. Architecture is much more than all of that. Pls read up and correct yourselves. A draughtsman can not be close to an "architect" in quote. If so, then the so-called architect is not qualified to be one. Draughting is just a Little course in architecture as well as planning, so if you meet a draughtsman that's good in planning, you still dont make any sense equating both @iamjayprone. Thanks Thank you very much for this comment. Most people simply don't know who an architect is. That is why road-side CAD draughters are easily mistaken for an architect. presently, there are less than 4000 Architects in Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: Rotimi Akeredolu Emerges As APC Governorship Candidate In Ondo State by lusen(m): 2:29pm On Sep 04, 2016 |
Lifestone: That's my point bro. He will capture the south, Aketi will most certainly overrun the north (because they believe it's their turn to produce the Governor) and the central will become the rag. Now this is the take, whereas APC will still garner some good votes in both South and Central, Oke's new platform will not be so strong to seriously compete in both the Central and the North. What should Oke do, be a good party man, negotiate a good deal for his people with Aketi, and use his strength to negotiate at the federal level for himself. If age is on his side, he may become the next Gov after Aketi. He must not go the way of Agunloye If oke still wants to be ondo state Governor, then the best time is now. But like I said earlier, He will need a lot of money and support from other strongholds if he will cross carpet. The only good thing abt jegede is that he hails from akure (akure wants to produce gov. too). Ondo state people now so hate mimiko that they won't want his successor to be someone he endorsed. Buhari's apc poor performance at the federal level will work against aketi. The below expectation performance of apc and pdp at the federal and state level respectively will be an high point for oke and will be advantageous to him at the polls. If Oke comes from another party as a neutral man, he stands a very good chance. He will win in ondo south wit a wide margin and will come second in both north and central if he plays his game well, and that is enough to make him emerge. After now, Oke should just forget it. Age is no longer on his side. I just have this kind of likeness for oke. |
Politics › Re: Rotimi Akeredolu Emerges As APC Governorship Candidate In Ondo State by lusen(m): 1:05pm On Sep 04, 2016 |
Lifestone: He will not and if that happens, you can begin to congratulate Aketi oke might cross carpet. He has the full support of his people. Oke will win all the 6 LG in Ondo south anyday anytime. He is a very popular and strong politician. Only that he wil need a lot of money to win if he will contest under a less known party. |
Politics › Re: Rotimi Akeredolu Emerges As APC Governorship Candidate In Ondo State by lusen(m): 10:04am On Sep 04, 2016 |
bayooooooo: The argument that Godfatherism doesn't work in Ondo is rooted not in facts but in sentiments. Was Awolowo not Ajasin's Godfather? And who imposed Agagu on Ondo when he defeated Adefarati if not Obasanjo? What about Adefarati and even Olumilua? The only person without a traceable godfather is Mimiko but he had to go through courts to retrieve his stolen mandate and was helped by many along the way including Tinubu. If Ondo is truly against Godfatherism, Abraham wouldn't have scored up to 50 yet he was defeated with less than 40 votes and the actual winner didn't even win 25% of total delegates votes. If a politician outside Ondo state could support a completely unknown politician and the results turned out the way it was, I would describe the politician as extremely powerful. In my opinion, Aketi won a keenly contested election, not that Ondo rejected godfatherism. Sometimes we elevate sentiment into hard facts. Plus, to stand a chance of winning the general election, he still needs to work with the so called defeated Godfather.
In 2012, Mimiko was popular. People had sympathy for ACN but had no real reasons to vote against Mimiko, more so when he was not in the detested PDP. Generally, in politics, it is difficult to defeat an incumbent, so contesting against a modestly successful governor and losing is not tantamount to rejection of Godfatherism. More so when Aketi, a candidate challenging an incumbent, was not popular and he even performed poorly in debates. On personal evaluation, no one could claim Aketi was better than Mimiko in 2012. So how would a loss of such a candidate be a reflection of hatred for Tinubu? Ultimately, he lost his own polling unit. Should we blame Tinubu for that too?
Mimiko of 2016 is weaker than that of 2012 but reality is Mimiko is not running. Jegede is the one running. People will look at Jegede and Aketi and make their choice. But Jegede will be using Mimiko's political machinery which he controls statewide. However, results of APC's primary election show Aketic only control APC machinery in Ondo Central. It is thus logical if he is not able to rally people that control the machinery in Ondo North and Ondo South, he is not likely to win. That doesn't sound like a rocket science. spot on. I love your analysis. With the look of things, Olusola Oke can contest under another party. He is a strong politician and has full support of people from ondo south. If he does? Do you think he can will the general elections come November? |

After eight years? I don't understand this IOC people oo. Do they keep testing these athletes (past and present) on a regular basis? Does that means usain bolt will be striped of all his gold medals if they reanalyse his doping samples and it is positive thirty years from now? Does that really make sense? They should just leave them alone since they've failed to detect the drugs in dia samples before/during the competition. afterall they won't conduct another medal decorating ceremony. |
