CrimeNigerian Arrested In India With $6.3 Million Worth Of Heroin by Lushore1(op):
A Nigerian, Joseph Onyekachukwu, has been arrested in New Delhi in what has been described as one of the biggest seizures of heroine in recent times, reports the Press Trust of India. The Nigerian national, who lives in the Dwarka area was arrested with eight kilogrammes of high-quality heroin worth about $6.3 million (Rs 40 crore) in the international market. The arrest was made by the the officials of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) while acting on a tip off on 6th of May.

The drugs were found at his residence during a search operation. An official of the DRI says this is one of the biggest seizures of heroin made in Delhi in recent times and will assist them in busting an international racket of drug smugglers. Upon interrogation, it was discovered that Onyekachukwu used to export the heroin hidden in auto parts through either the air cargo or courier terminal and DRI officials stated that they are still trying to get details of the consignments that he has sent in the past.

Onyekachukwu has been married to an Indian woman for over six years and resided at a flat in Dwarka area. He is now under judicial custody. India is close to the Golden Crescent of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran where an overwhelming proportion of the world’s heroin comes from. Afghanistan alone generates 70% of the world’s heroin and much of it gets to India’s youths via drug smugglers. India is struggling hard to contain a drug addiction epidemic threatening its 1.2 billion people as this article on Foreign Policy clearly explains.

CrimeNigerian Onyejiekwe Morgan Chinemerem, 29, Arrested In Thailand Over Drugs by Lushore1(op): 3:31pm On May 09, 2015
A Nigerian named Onyejiekwe Morgan Chinemerem has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police in his rented room in Bangkok for allegedly masterminding the sale of crystal methamphetamine and cocaine. The 29-year-old was arrested in a sting operation on revealed Metropolitan Police Commissioner Police Lt Gen Sriwarah Rangsitpramkul and Police Colonel Suthep Chanasit, an inspector of the Metropolitan Police Division 4, told a press conference at 4 pm Tuesday, 29th of April. Presented at the press conference were 31.47 grams of crystal methamphetamine or “ice” and 889.63 grams of cocaine.

According to Suthep, the Nigerian was arrested at the stairway between the 8th and 9th floors of HR Residence in the Bang Kapi District. The charges levelled against him include the possession of crystal methamphetamine and cocaine with the intention to sell. He also said that the police got tips that Nigerian men living on the 9th floor of Building 17 of the HR Residence have been involved in the sale of hard drugs by hiring a Thai man, who was identified only as ‘M’ as their courier/delivery boy. Thus, the police set up a sting operation that involved police informant getting across to M asking him to purchase the crystal meth and cocaine from him.

M then told the Nigerian men that a customer would like to buy 30 grammes of crystal meth and 200 grams of cocaine for 460,000 bahts (about $14,000 or almost N3 million) said Suthep. M led the detectives to the room of the Nigerian men to buy the drugs and it was there the police found two Nigerians in the room. Once the police identified them, two Nigerians ran out of the room, one fled the scene and Chinemerem was arrested at the stairway and he later confessed that he and his friend were responsible for smuggling the drugs to sell mainly using post parcels.

pazienza:
We know of Ojukwu shortcomings, but he remains a hero. Hindsight is vision 20/20, Yorubas already had centuries of dealings with the hostile North and even hostility towards each other. Ndiigbo never had such. In the East there was relative peace, even though the area was ethnically heterogeneous. We knew next to nothing about Yorubas, now we do. We have the Yorubas figured out.

It is left for the younger Igbo generation to learn from the mistakes of Biafra 1.0, Biafra 2.0 must be a success.
You are making sense now but i doubt if igbo in general learnt anything from the war. I hope there wont be any war between igbo and yoruba as you cant simply win any war if you think your supposed enemy is a coward.

Sorry to say that OP's suggestion is dead on arrival. The suggestion is equivalent to stating, in a nonsensical manner, that "if you must prosecute a thief you caught red handed today, you must also prosecute another prson who stole 11-15 years ago".

The issue at hand is the recently released audit report. Lets deal with the newly caught thieves first.
Spot on...
