Myer: Pastors can be wolves. Members can be wolves.
Which was why Jesus said in Matthew 7:22-23
sOn that day tmany will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, yyou workers of lawlessness.’
Which also brings us to the parable of the what and tares. Mattew 13: 24-30
The difficulty is knowing who is what but still growing. And who is a tare masquerading as a wheat.
Truly I would have supported the Angels/workers who advised God to destroy the tares immediately. But God resisted that, not willing to lose the soul of any wheat. But in hindsight, we have now lost more wheats because of the tares.
But as always, God knows best. Thank you, Sir. But @the emboldened, Prophecy and other gifts of the Spirit are not limited to Pastors or Prophets. That somebody prophesies doesn't make the person a Prophet save he is called into that office by title. Yes, s/he has the mantle which is the core of Christianity but there has to be a place of the calling into the office. |

Righteousness2: Absolutely fantastic indeed! Satanic rituals and advancing Satanic codes and Signs absolutely Fantastic!
Be careful of who you call your Pastor. Many are Wolfs in sheep clothings.. I have been seeing your comments and posts on a number of topics and I must commend, Sir, that I love the way you seek to use every avenue to propagate the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. MORE power to you, Sir. However, this particular statement you made caught my attention and I'd love to make some modifications to it, Sir. "Many are wolves in sheep clothings" refers not to Pastors but to fellow humans or say people who come disguising as believers. Pastors are called shepherd, members are referred to as sheep and Jesus speaking in John 10:11 says “I am the good shepherd.." Jeremiah 3:15 says, "Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding." The KJV says, "And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." These communicates to us that Pastors cannot be regarded as wolves because they don't seek to be in the garment of a sheep. If you examine the preceding verse and this and understand the context of the scripture, it will open us to seeing that it talks about certain Christians claiming to be part of God's flock but at heart they are totally different with the aim of mixing with the sheep of a shepherd and swindling them with rhetorics and falsehoods. NLT says, "Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.", So, in that light, a sheep is meant to follow and yield to the Shepherd's call and direction not another sheep. I'd then posit that Pastors are not wolves, neither should wolves in any given flock be regarded as a pastors, please. Thank you, Sir. MORE grace, Sir. |

Because our mentalities as blacks no dey rhyme at all with wetin whites dey see as normal I'm sorry but I beg to disagree. Because they (whites) see something as normal doesn't mean we should accept it hook, line and sinker. The animal clearly sought to kill the chickens the man was tending after and he had to do what he had to do: kill the chicken invader. And I find it quite funny how the so-called Animal Rights doesn't address when humans are attacked by this dreadlooking animals or invade human spaces. It would have been a different ball game, probably, if man had entered into say the bush or forest, but he was in his space. We should tone down on this Animal this Animal that... Career › Re: 10 Mistakes You Are Currently Making That Might Damage Your Chance Of Success by LustreChris(m): 5:48pm On Jun 29, 2021 |
Thank you for this great piece. Kinute: This is going to be a very quick, straight-to-the-point post and no unnecessary explaination.
And to prove it-
1. SHORT HAND
If u still type lik dis n u tink typn sentences correctly is wsting of tym or some swag, you say thnx like dis and ask questions with y, wht, etc.
Then you need to stop. You might have damaged your chances of people seeing the value in you because of annoying, hard-to-read short-hand sentences.
Wake up, we are no longer in the era of 2go.
Your friends might not care because they know you.
Don't let people see you as immature and valueless before you get a chance to prove otherwise.
2. YOU WANT TO DO IT BY YOURSELF
Maybe you are an introvert, shy or your ego is just as big as the big head on your neck, the truth still remains you cannot live life on your own.
Don't make this mistake.
Find support systems.
There is a reason why suicide cases in Nigeria are consistently rising. People have replaced communal values with solitude and seclusion.
Apart from the damage it does to your mental health, it also makes it hard for people to reach out to you when you most need them cos they just assume you are fine.
This is also important in business. Find a partner that compliments you, stop focusing on all that can go wrong if you have a partner.
I stand to be corrected but I believe, whatever can go wrong in your business if you have a partner has a higher chance of going wrong if you are doing it by yourself.
3. NOT BUILDING QUALITY RELATIONSHIPS
This is a sequel to point 2 above.
Build deliberate and strategic relationships. Stop treating people with disdain, and stop looking down on yourself.
Be interested in people, their values, and what they do. Help where you can.
Go to events where the kind of people you want in your life are at.
Think of relationships as investments that can yield better ROI than any other type of investment.
In fact, take a look at your life right now, some of the things you have achieved were through leveraging relationships.
4. YOU ARE NOT SHOWING YOUR VALUE
I struggled with this for years. I was good at a few things but nobody knew. I saw friends I was better than become what I wanted to be. They would even come to me for advice.
Why? Because the little they knew how to do, they shared with the world while I was waiting to be perfect.
Don't do that. Waiting for perfection is just fear masking itself in a way that seems pleasant.
Go out there, show people what you can do, what you are learning how to do, and how you do what you do.
Value can also be just helping others around you achieve something. Value is your usefulness to God, man, and society.
5. YOU DON'T HONOR PEOPLE
This is similar to building relationships but still slightly different.
If I may ask, when was the last time you thanked your parents? Have you ever truly appreciated them for all they have done?
Honor doesn't just stop at our parents though. How about your bosses, your superiors, or even those under you. Have you ever looked them in the eye and say "Thank you for all you do, I value and honor you"
There are many ways you can honor people.
Find a way to honor those that have made an impact in your life.
6. YOU ARE NOT DIFFERENT FROM EVERY OTHER PERSON AROUND YOU
Everyone is starting a poultry business so you start one. Everyone is submitting CVs for jobs so you do the same. People do the same thing over and over again and you jump on the bandwagon, no uniqueness, no differentiation, just copy copy.
Now, I am not saying doing what others are doing is bad, it is not. But find a way to stand out, find a way to be different.
For every business out there, there are 100 ways you can be different. Your job application must not follow every constant application format.
Don't let desperation cause you to be repetitive and redundant. Learn to stand out, learn to be different.
7. PROCASTINATION
I will talk about this tomorrow.
But every tomorrow is another tomorrow.
Do it now.
8. FEAR
It's not easy to overcome fear but overcoming your fear is the only way you can move forward in life.
So many motivational speakers have talked about this and I am no motivational speaker.
9. YOU ARE NOT LEARNING ENOUGH
Reading might be tiring for you but can you at least learn from people that have done it before you. Ask for their help and guidance, watch them as they do what they do, and find ways to do it better.
Google is your friend. Getting a mentor or coach is a better friend and books are your best friends.
Choose your friends wisely.
10. FILL THIS IN YOURSELF
If you are being sincere, you know what is holding you back.
Your guts tell you once you can overcome this thing, you would be able to achieve anything you want. Then overcome it.
But let me burst your bubbles. Excuses don't cut it. Stop making excuses. Making excuses in itself is a mistake.
The excuses you make are scenarios making you mentally lazy.
Wake up. (For lack of better words) |

Nuel4: I always laugh whenever I see boys saying no means no etc. That's hypocrisy. Girls were told never to immediately accept a guy on a date, to be his girlfriend or have sex. Girls believed if you make sexual move and they agree immediately they will be considered cheap so they were told to always say no, stop etc it's the guy's duty to try and convince her into agreeing to sex. This has been the norm since the dawn of time. Girls liked it because they could form hard to get or guilt trap the guy afterwards. 99% of ladies reading this have told a guy to stop when they wanted him to continue and would mock the guy if he actually stopped. This led to a serious confusion, a young boy out there wouldn't know if a girl telling him to stop actually means he should stop or is telling him to try harder. This has hurt both boy and girls the mixed messages make it difficult for young boys to actually know when the girls truly want them to stop.
For generations, the notion that with women no means no and no means yes, yes means maybe maybe means try harder and try harder means yes etc was all over the place and women never fought against it they loved it because it made them look complicated which ended up confusing men. You cannot teach people no means no and no means yes and yes means no and expect them not to be confused.
The truth is this, if we follow the line of no means no then every single man in the world who has ever had sex will be in jail. Even majority of girlfriends told their boyfriends no on the first attempt. It was a normal thing.
I'm not talking about the normal rape we all know about, as in forcefully penetrate a ladies intimidating her with dangerous weapons or a group of people holding her her forcefully having sex with her. Is there a way I can like this a million time(s)? |

vickydankal: USA, China, Italy, Spain etc with more sophisticated gadgets and technologically advanced far more than Nigeria are finding it very difficult to handle, treat or cure corvid19. But miracles happen every day in Lagos with number of people we hear are discharged and test confirm them negative to corona virus disease 2019.
I have this few questions for our Nigerians medical Doctors, health workers, Ministry of health, Federal and state government and to the general public.
1) Has there ever been any autopsy carried out to the people who are dying/ died from corvid19 to confirm exactly what killed them.
2) The people recovery what was given to them?
3) What age, blood type etc are more susceptible to corvid19
4) Since they told us that people with weak immune system or underlying illnesses are more prone to die from corvid19, what can people who have not contracted corvid19 do to boost their immune system before time?
5) I wonder why Chinese government are sending their medical doctors to different countries to help them manage corvid19, when of cos wherever they go the number of cases increase, yet they said no cure, what will they be doing to the patients?
6) With the way number of cases of corvid19 has drastically reduced in China and we were told no cure, what did they do for the people to recover?
7) What has happened to billions donated towards fight against corvid19
cool Is the government of this nation from state to federal hiding anything from the masses about the controversial 5G.
9) Is this pandemic a new way of looting for our government key persons.
[s]10)Self distancing, face mask and sanitizer has been publicized for effective way to battle and decrease the spread of Corvid19. why close Churches a place of healing/worship and mosque where citizens meet their God for help. Are their things they are not telling us ?[/s]

Crime › Nigeria, The Law And The Public : Maryam Sanda As A Case Study by LustreChris(op): 5:46pm On Jan 30, 2020 |
When man agreed to coexist with his fellow man and leave solitude, he also agreed to forsake some of his basic nature for the good and harmony of the society. The advantage of communities and society in general is that members agree to be subject to rules and guidelines by joining. Natural savage instincts are checked by the rules, laws and morals of society. One of such instincts checked by society is Violence. From the beginning of man’s history (some people believe as far back as the Biblical Cain and Abel) man has been prone to violence. There is the basic instinct in every human to settle quarrels and differences physically. This instinct, though not extinguished, has been tempered with the creation of society.
However, there are those that still succumb to animal instincts when offended or to settle differences with their fellow man. With the evolution of man, came the need for and creation of laws to check the savage beast deep within every man. In Nigeria, some of such laws are the Criminal Code (applicable in the Southern States of Nigeria) and the Penal Code (applicable in all states formerly known as the Northern Region of the country). These laws were created to check crime and violence in the country. Under these laws, it is a crime to cause or attempt to cause bodily harm or death on another person. Under the various laws, three major criminal acts of violence are: Assault, Murder and Manslaughter
I have followed with rapt concentration the Maryam Sanda's case and the opposing views of some Nigerians, while some think the judgement is right, adversely, many equally think it is wrong. Let us take a look at what the law prescribes in situations like this.
Section 316 of the Nigerian constitution 1999 (amended) provides that a person is guilty of murder if he/she unlawfully kills another person under any of the following circumstances:
1. If the offender intends to cause the death of the person killed or that of some other person – If Sola does an act with the intention to kill Wendy or someone else and Wendy dies because of Sola’s act, Sola is guilty of murder.
2. If the offender intends to do to the person killed or to some other person some grievous harm – If Sola does something with the intention of causing Wendy, or some other person, serious injury (like intentionally hitting him with a car), and Wendy dies because of Sola’s act, Sola is guilty of murder. It wouldn’t matter if Sola did not mean to hurt John in particular but someone else. 3. If death is caused by means of an act done in the prosecution of an unlawful purpose, which act is of such a nature as to be likely to endanger human life – If Sola robs a bank with a firearm and Wendy is shot and killed in the middle of the robbery, Sola is guilty of murder. It would not matter if Sola did not intend to hurt anybody while robbing the bank. 4. If the offender intends to do grievous harm to such person for the purpose of facilitating the commission of an offence which is such that the offender may be arrested without warrant, or for the purpose of facilitating the flight of an offender who has committed or attempted to commit any such offence. 5. If death is caused by administering any stupefying or over-powering things for either of the purposes last aforesaid – If Sola drugs Wendy for any unlawful purpose and Wendy dies from effects of the drug, Sola is guilty of murder. 6. If death is caused by willfully stopping the breath of any person for either of such purposes – If Sola suffocates Wendy for any unlawful reason, even if the intent was just to make Wendy unconscious, and Wendy dies from the suffocation, Sola is guilty of murder. In the last three cases, it would not matter that the offender did not intend to cause death or did not know that death would likely result from the action.
Under the Criminal Code, any person who commits the offense of murder shall be sentenced to death by a court of law. Exceptions are juveniles (a person under the age of seventeen) and pregnant women. They are usually detained under the pleasure of the Governor of the state. Having gone through the provisions of the law in a case like this, you will agree with me that Maryam Sanda was served right. The incident that occurred November 19, 2017 brings the woman's trial to more than 3 years before the judgement was served. The judgment however has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians. Furthermore, the woman brought her child to the court which to me was to appeal to pity (there's a sense of hypocrisy there), she was three months pregnant when she committed the offence ,not having a second thought about the consequence of the heinous act. Let us not claim oblivion of the fact that cases of husband killing wife or vice versa have become rampant in Nigeria in recent times. In August, 18, 2018 one Olaoluwa Adejo tortured his wife Maureen to death, also in 2018, Mrs Udeme killed her 50 year old husband by ripping his stomach apart showing his intestine, and after, severed his genitals and put them in her hands. On 27th of November, 2017, an Ibadan based lawyer, Yewande Oyediran was sentenced by an Ibadan based high court for stabbing her husband Lowo Oyediran to death. On 24th, May, 2019, the police in Lagos were informed and after investigation found that a 42-year-old man, Enifeh Omomo, allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife and their six-year-old son at their Ikorodu residence. At 8.00a.m, Ikorodu Police Station received a distress call that one Enifeh Akupa Omomo; 42, of No. 12, Eruga St., Aga-Ikorodu, allegedly killed his wife, Mrs Faith Omomo; 38 and his six-year-old son, Glorious Omomo, and thereafter committed suicide in his one-room apartment In the same year, a 30-year-old man, Uwani Danjuma, killed his wife because she planned to re-marry after his supposed death. The incident occurred at Uddu Village in the Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State. According to Danjuma, his late wife had told him when he was sick weeks earlier that if he dies, she will re-marry another man. Angered by those words, Danjuma attacked and killed his wife with a cutlass after he got well. Also, sometimes in 2014, one Mr Akolade Arowolo was sentenced to death by hanging by an Ikeja High Court, sitting in Lagos State, Mr Akolade Arowolo burst into tears and began to pray. It should be noted, however, that these are just few of many cases of similar occurrence in Nigeria. It was gathered that majority of these deaths were caused by infidelity, jealousy, disagreement or mere banters between couples. The premises many Nigerians are presenting to protest the judgment against Maryam Sanda are 1: that Boko Haram members are rehabilitated and integrated back into the society and Maryam Sanda can also be treated in same way. 2: that women suffer abuse internally in marriage and her action is justified. 3: that she killed her husband by mistake and it could have happened to anyone. 4: that she has a young girl to cater for and sentencing her might just have made the girl traumatic while growing up. Now, out of all the premises presented above, none can stand as an excuse in the court of law as many Nigerians have spoken out of sheer ignorance, emotion, pity and prejudice. One of the problems bedeviling Nigeria now is hypocrisy, it was reported by the witnesses against Maryam that she had tried to stab her husband many times before the day of the incident because she suspected that he wanted to marry another wife and killed him when she saw a nude picture on her phone, she also wiped the evidence, lied that her husband fell on a shisha plate or whatever it is called, it was also reported by the police that she attempted fleeing many times. These have shown that the murder was intentional and premeditated. If we keep attaching emotions to national issues, especially incidents bordering on law or human life, Nigeria might continue to wallow to and fro in the aqua of conundrum that will be unsolvable till eternity. Nothing justifies murder and nothing will justify it. If the relationship/marriage is abusive, toxic, unhealthy, taxing than you can handle, unpromising, lifeless, frustrating, tiring or robbing you of your peace of mind, WALK AWAY.

No where did he say naira Marley was the problem in NIGERIA, there are many problems in Nigeria and moral decadence is one of them. His music appeals to people of decayed morals, if you don't find anything offensive in his music then it's a pointer to the fact that you are already decayed (dead but alive). He never said such, fine, cool, but did moral decadence start with him? Obviously, nope. It didn't start with him neither will it end with him. Didn't stop there, she took me to her car and drove me to my hostel (Angola). She cared afterwards. Mine isn't the only story of your affection towards your students while you were alive.
