BusinessRe: Young Farmers Cooperative Society In Abeokuta by lutha: 3:35pm On Jan 03, 2013
@jethro2, I suggest the cooperative should be named Young Entrepreneur Cooperative Scheme as against the Youth Multipurpose Cooperative Society and Entrepreneur Youth Multipurpose Cooperative Society.
I took time going through the Constitution and the Bye-law, the vision I saw there in the Bye-law Section lll; b,c,g&j. is more than common cooperative society.
Let's distinguish ourselves from the common household name 'Multi purpose Cooperative Society' and think out out of the box. "My suggestion"

Hello! Yemmy&co. I must say well done to you guyz. You've really done more than enlightment.
I hold a B.Ed in Business Education (Accounting). I graduated 2007 and am presently working as a school Vice Principal.
I am currently planning to change my career from Educationist to HR Professional. But reading this thread just opened my eyes to many things about the job.
The questions are;
1. After five year of graduation, hope is not too late to change career path?
2. Between Master of Human Resources and Industrial Relations (MHIR)@lasu & CIPM, which should I do first?
3. How many years would it take me to complete the CIPM?
4. Upon graduating from MHIR or CIPM, will I still be recruited as entry level or middle?
Pls, I need your sincere response.
FamilyRe: Are Extra Lessons Really Necessary For School Children? by lutha: 2:11am On Jun 13, 2012
@drzed, the fault is neither the teachers nor sch mgt if your kids attend standard private sch. The parents are the cause of this so called 'extra lesson' and they are paying for it big time! It is our delight and obligation to see our pupils/students excelling in their academics thesame way our parents want to see them. To achieve this, the sch mgt will hire well qualified and experinced teachers and charge the parents for it. The pupils/students are carefully and effectively taught base on the needs of each child in normal school hours and assignment is regularly given to keep them busy with proper monitoring by the parents at home for the pupils not to over play and forget what was taught in sch for the day. But quite unfortunate to see some parents withdrawing their children frm such a standard sch because their friends' or neighbours' children attend sch where extra lesson is adopted into the sch programme as a result of inability to meet up with the normal sch calender, poor staffing or exploitatn. In order to avoid loosing children to the substandard schs, the afore-mentioned sch mgt will find away of pleasing the parents by adopting extention classes into the sch programme which also attract additional fees.
FamilyRe: Are Extra Lessons Really Necessary For School Children? by lutha: 11:53pm On Jun 12, 2012
@op, why most parents wil prefer a lesson teacher for their children is because they hardly create time to really supervise thier children@home. The economy situation has made the parents to view the teachers as professional nanny. If a child attends a good private sch & he's given homework each day that's enough if parents on their own part can monitor their children (time for food, nap, play, homework & bed time). As a sch administrator, the only time i recommend extra couching is when the child's ability is below his present class or the parents are too busy to create time for the child or the child is in high sch.

@efe22, it is beter u feed them at a spot to avoid feed wastage. If u spread, u mite tink dey r eating while it sinks. Feeding at a spot wil help u kno if dey r eating or nt.

@efe22, fish grow very faster@d first 3mths &@such, dey nid 2b fed adequately, if nt dey wil start feedin on each other. Mine are nw 2mths & a wik. D breed is called pure dutch&i stock dem as juveniles. truely, some among dem r already weighing 1kg. I feed dem every 4hrs interval(i.e. 7am,11am,3pm,7pm&10pm b4 bed). I use foreign feed called aquafeed by Cargill. D feed is 45% protein unlike coppens 43%. About d feed, visit: www.cargillanimalnutrition.com .Although, in fish farming business there r five key factors dt can lead 2 success of d farm.
1. Fish Quality
2. Water Quality
3. Feed Quality & Quantity
4. Market
5. Farm Management.
Profit is maximize if above mentioned r considered.

@mashkov, d most & commonly used treatment is d manure. U cn get it frm d butcher @òdó eran. Pack it into a double sack 2 reduce d smelly liquid dt drops. U cn hv as many as possible bags of manure depending on d pond size. @least, 2 bags shld b drop in2 d pond. Remembe 2 reduce d double sacks to 1 so dt d manure cn mix wt d water quickly. Allow it 4 a week. Afta then, drain d water & put a fresh water. Afta 15min, u cn stock u fish. My li2 xperience.
