@ sheyguy - for your information,i got admitted into dept of accounting in the 2007 scoring 61% in the post ume . The nos of non -indigen that apply then was 666 out of the post ume scores were arranged in ascending order and fortunately 44 non indigen students were admitted and i was nos 41 on the list because they stop the list frm those of us that score 61% starting frm the highest score and glory be to god i graduated with a 2.1 last month. Something must hav gone wrong somewhere w.rt to your sister's admission may be her o'level,may b she choose lasu as 2nd choice because they declare openly that priority will not be given to 2nd choice candidate this year.nothing stoping her frm gaining admission if she truely merit it

@ avb - I wish i had attended unilag to study accounting for me to to bag my 1st class easily .a dept that produce 9 first class, Had alot of friends in that dept whose c.g.p.a are above 4.2/1st class but cant compete with me. The truith is that if u want 2.1 /1st class easily ,avoid lasu and go to unilag ! Fact.n.b - i am mr not miss

@ marshal - it will be ok if the fee is peg at 100k.chargin b/w 250,000-350000 for a public univ is just too high,they should consider the poor. lasu is currently the most expensive public univ in the country.

WEDNESDAY!
The executive Governor of Lagos
state, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola
who also doubles as the Visitor
of Lagos State University(LASU) is
set to visit the crisis encroached
citadel on wednesday, December
14,2011. According to a news
release by the school
management,the Governor is
expected to officialy commission
the newly completed Chief (Dr.)
B.O. Benson (SAN) lecture hall at
the Faculty of Science by
10.00am.
The Governor's visit comes at a
period when the widely
acclaimed and highly respected
state University is faced with
students unrest which is as a
result of the recent school fees
increment. This has also led to
the indefinite suspension of the
Lagos State University Students'
Union(LASUSU).
Fashola last visited LASU on 28th
of June 2011,which was his
birthday to inspect ongoing
projects in the school.
