while lasu produce just four 1st class out of over 9000 in her last convocation.stil wondering why we dnt have much 1st class in that sch.

d hike in tuition fees is unjustifiable because d neccessary infrastructure has not been fully put in place. although some upgrading of faculty are already in progress including d ongoing science faculty
construction,d recent commission of fac of social science but d increase ought to be gradual . also,it amazed me when people says lasu students are not serious,u will read like hell for u to have 2.1 talkless of 1st class.2.1 in lasu = 1/1 in unilag

lag assembly and d executive are all playing politics.instead for them to deliberate on d fees to charge,instead d house set up useless ad-hoc committee . they are all bunch of hyprocrite

d student union protest ystrday in ikeja environ chanting anti fashola, tinubu and a.c.n songs.they also visit all media houses,paralyse economics activities in d environ and distribute handbill to d public to educate them d obnoxious policy of a.c.n govt to increase tuition by over 1000%. meanwhile d lag assembly had summon d new v.c ,commissioner of education,et s.u.g to appear b 4 d house on 28th of oct to explain d ongoin crisis

@ -abiola - my dept is expected to produce 80 graduates bagging 2nd class upper out of 241 for d 1st time in d history of lasu. alot of people thinks lasu students are not serious but they dnt knw we are wounded lion. @ adros - what will say to unilorin that do run a 7months academic calendar ? lasu is trying to meet up its academic calendar that y they run a fast academic calendar this year.pls accept lasu graduate.

@ adros - dnt blame d sch,it was d nuc that caused it,they gave d sch oct ending to finish d session in order to meet d uniform academic calendar because lasu is lacking behind as a result of d state university strike embark upon by ASUU S-EAST AND S-WEST ZONE.THE STRIKE REALY AFFECT MOST STATE UNIVERSITY IN D COUNTRY ESPECIALLY IN D S-EAST AND S-WEST ZONE.AM ONLY MAKING REFERENCE TO MY OWN DEPT ALONE,OTHER FACULTY HAVE STARTED LECTURE EARLY

@ abiola -it ok like that,lasuite always excel anyware we go because d stress u went.am happy u now at unilag. Lemee tel u some scenero,while in level two,a guy left lasu for unilag ,his c.g.p.a in lasu then was 3.68 my dept accounting, this guy is now in 400l with c.g.p.a of 4.89,his name is toheeb accounting dept.also a female student left my dept with c.g.p.a 3.51 ,but now in osun state university 300l with cgpa 4.81.i knw of several scneros too .u will see how u will excel in yur new,am happy for be candid d stress in lasu is just too much

hw do u expect student to pass when we end 1st sem exam july 16,resume 2nd sem july 12 (during exam) ,start lecture toward d end of august and start 2nd sem exam oct 4 meaning we received lecture for just 5wks. @ abiola - i knw it not an easy task but cant u continue yur program in lasu and run that of unilag concurrently since u wil b in yur final year next session

d point am trying to make is that we shud see d improved infrastructure 1st b 4 any increment in tuition fees.est fails to realise that d starting point of any strategic policy maker is d scanning of d environment which est failed to do.hw on earth will u compare u.k education system with that of nigeria. come to lasu your self and hw we read under stress condition.

@ abiiola - thank u my fellow ex lasuite.u hav tasted lasu and hw its ingredent.u wil read blood wil come out of your body 4 u to make 4point talk less of 5.u have seen y d sch do produce less than 7 first class yearly. thank GOD U ARE NOW AT UNILAG WHERE U WIL MAKE YUR 1ST CLASS EASILY.DNT COMPARE D STRESS IN LASU TO UNILAG. THERE ARE QUACKS LECTURERS AS WELL IN UNILAG AND OTHER UNIV,I KNW YUR DEPT VERY WELL

also 70% of lasu stu are indigen of lag and lag govt usually give a bursary of 25k xvry session to all its indigen.on this aspect i give kudos to them but d truith is that alot of people may not be able to pay this new tuition fees considering d level to income. there is also a scholarship test for indigen ,u write d test and if u pass d test ,u get 250k.2 ladies in my dept wrote this test and won 250k each.it a yearly scholarship test.lol@est

lasu offers scholarship to its student, all u need to do it to have a c.g.p.a of 4.00 and above and yur tuition wil b refunded back to u plus additional 20k wil b given to d student. d student wil continue to enjoy scholarship so far he or she stil maintain at least 3.5 .this is what brillant stu are enjoy and it has really help hundreth of lasu student

if pple lik ekt and adros justify d proposed increment of lasu fees then y is federal universities tuition fees below 10k (less than 100dollars) per year. are we not part of d tax payer subsidizing federal universities ? justify that

former governor of lag state bola tinubu a.k.a gabagan bribed some lasusu excos given them a sum of 180k to silent d union. some students usually pay twice d old sch fees of 25k. since inception of lasu, sch fees was #250 to #25,000 and now 278k.

mod move d topic to d front page. a.c.n is a failure with useless governor.gns exam was cancle as a result of this hike, sug has threaten to close down alausa in d coming dayz,more protest next week
