We had 19, then 21 then ....all the way to 36 states. There is still corruption and strife. We have had civilian, military, mix military and civilian, presidential system, parliamentary system....in all these there has been corruption and strife.
When will Nigerians finally understand that the problem is not the system of govt, it is the practitioners of that system. If you have regional autonomy tomorrow, you will still have Tinubu's in the SW, Kalu's in the SE, Ibori's in the SS, Gado Dollar in the NW.... Nothing will change. Untill the rule of law is firmly established in this country nothing will change.
