Politics › Re: Local Crude Producers Demand Payment In Dollars by lwisee: 6:13am On Nov 03, 2023 |
Why demanding Dollars for local purchase. Transacting in Dollars between 2 local companies is illegal in Nigeria. I guess this is why Dangote Refinery is struggling to get crude oil for his refinery. Tinubu should intervane in this matter ASAP |
Politics › Re: The Tinubus, Daddy Adeboye Et'al by lwisee: 5:57am On Nov 03, 2023 |
RealEmilokan: I am just having some deep thoughts and wondering:
What is Daddy Adeboye's current relationship with the Tinubus in Nigeria's current state? Who will stand up for the common man?
Let's call a spade a spade, Nigeria is in shambles. Nothing is working and nothing seem like it will work anytime soon. Tinubu has now turned out to be the biggest calamity in the history of Nigerian presidency; I know a lot of people still live in denial but the 'shege' of this government will eventually rub off on everyone whether directly or indirectly, sooner or later. I am certain that no one, not a single Nigerian outside the political circle will be spared no matter how rich you think you are. Who would have thought that Buhari's government would be a better hell compared to Tinubu's government?
Does Daddy still part Sister Remi's back when she visits?
I am now convinced that Godless and wicked men occupy Nigeria's political space. When I hear Sister Remi's often use of 'God', I cringe with fear and disgust, because that woman and her family definitely do not know God.
With the kind of news we hear everyday, one can't but lose hope in the country - The tale of the 5 billion Naira yatch, Wike's movie of shame, billions in borrowing, billions on repair of residence, billions on cars for first lady, billions on cars for house of assembly members, spirit projects everywhere, over priced projects everywhere, inferior projects everywhere, more borrowings, the courts steady acquittal of criminals, Naira's continuous upward floating, impending increase in fuel price, killing and deaths everywhere and the list goes on.
Daddy will say that we should pray, we should pray for Nigeria and its leaders despite all the hardship we face; yet, he dines with them, he laughs with them, and he is silent while people who look up to him are devoured by poverty and hardship. Like Daddy, like majority of our Religious leaders. Do we really understand the bible in this country?
Daddy, enough of the hypocrisy. Take a stand. Call evil what it is. It is time to stop dousing the anger of the people using the bible. People are really suffering. Yes, your members are suffering too. Stop lying to them that they shall be spared by Grace. There's real suffering and hardship out there. How long will you continue to use the word of the Living God to manipulate the people who honour you and hold you in high esteem?
It is now clear that Tinubu is just a power monger, only desperate for power and have nothing to offer. They have stolen, cheated, killed and destroyed to get power while they have nothing to offer to the people. They are even more clueless than Buhari they claimed to have helped to grab power.
For every religious leader out there, you are the God the people see, don't become their God. Stand up and speak up for what is right. Flee from politicians, for they will only rubbish God's anointing upon you. You no get Daddy? Is Daddy Adeboye your president? |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Brings Major Dangote Refinery To Life With Own Oil Supply by lwisee: 5:48am On Nov 03, 2023 |
Throwback: This is why our refineries never worked, electricity supply was never constant, and Ajaokuta Steel Complex never produced for a day.
We have been mapped by some gl9bal cartels as a market for their own products, so they have ensured with the connivance of local actors, that we remain hooked to foreign supply of our fuels and steel.
Just Imagine that all the Steel used in Oil Wells and Pipelines both on Surface and Subsea, and all the steel used in the construction industry, are all foreign imports when we could have produced them locally.
Yes we are a large market for those products, but a market that is catered for by a refinery or steel mill somewhere in Europe or US.
Who will break this economic colonization? Try to be optimistic once in your life. I've been enjoying stable electricity for the past 2 months that I switch to my inverter most times. Project Nigeria is a work in progress, we will refine our own oil and sell to Nigerians and other countries in West Africa. It's a dream and it will surely happen. |

jerk: I watched the show and was totally ashamed for a man who calls himself a lawyer. He even wanted to walk out of the studio Because of simple questions. The APC guy was denying that Tinubu is not the one that removed subsidy. Bunch of empty brains, am sure his certificate is forged as a lawyer. They want a station that will dance to their tune by glorifying Tinubu's government. TVC and channels are their for him to go, they will pamper him since they are APC stations. They will ask him a question like. TVC---- President Tinubu is doing well with the economy he promised to make the dollar 100 naira to a dollar by first quarter of next year, what do you have to say about this great achievement from our president? Guest--- smiles,, you see ,we have the best president now in Nigeria and he's the best man for the job bla bla bla ...... Btw Arise won the best TV station of the year thanks to Rufai and co. Tinubu didn't remove subsidy, no provision to subsidize petrol in 2023 budget. He only affirms the fact that subsidy is gone. |

I keep saying it that Yorubas don’t mind even a demon is a president of Nigeria as long as the person isn’t Igbo.
Their focus is on Obi. Just yesterday Arewa people have tagged Tinubu the worst president ever, but they all hid.
Now they are coming out to attack Obi. But when they are attacked likewise they will start screaming Igbo hatred.
Anyways Tinubu and Buhari will drag who becomes the worst president Nigeria has ever had. Those who don't wish Nigeria well will be doomed. |

For him, the Igbo man is guity of whatever he is accused of. Will it be surprising if Igbos reciprocate such treatment towards the Yorubas? Not at all. Therefore, Igbos know those who hate and slander you at any given opportunity. Give it back to them fire for fire. Dig into all their dealings and bring to the surface anything and everything that will portray them as bad people because this is exactly what they're doing to us. For them, they believe one or two persons from us who are involved in wring doings typifies us therefore, we also should use the crimes of one or two of their people to represent their whole people. It is a tit for tat thing; do me I do you situation. Do not stop until they've learnt their foolishness. Ozuor😂 Them catch you stealing you say them hate you You are a mumu man |

Politics › Breaking : BUA Slashes Price Of Cement Starting October 2 by lwisee(op): 7:59pm On Oct 01, 2023 |
BUA Cement reduces ex-factory cement prices to N3,500/bag effective October 2, 2023. ——- - We refer to our previous pronouncements regarding our intent to reduce cement prices upon the completion of our new lines at the end of the year, in order to spur development in the building materials and infrastructure sectors.
As per the commitment made to reduce prices and following a periodic review of our operations for efficiency, the management of BUA Cement Plc wishes to announce and inform our esteemed customers, stakeholders, and the public that effective October 2, 2023, we have decided to bring the price reduction forward. As a result, BUA Cement would now be sold at an ex-factory* price of 3,500 Naira per bag so that Nigerians can begin to enjoy the benefits of the price reduction before the completion of our plants.
Upon completion of the ongoing construction of our new plants, which would increase our production volumes to 17million metric tonnes per annum, BUA Cement PLC intends to review these prices further in line with our earlier pronouncements by the first quarter of 2024.
NOTE: all pending, undelivered orders which had been paid for at the old prices will be reviewed downwards to N3500/bag in line with the new pricing from October 2, 2023. Our licensed dealers are also enjoined to ensure that end-users benefit from this reduction in ex-factory prices as we will monitor field sales to ensure compliance.
Signed:
Management 01 October, 2023
